I saw David nod his head in satisfaction and reveal a smile. I suddenly realized that perhaps David standing on Nazan's side was fake. He was actually testing Kirk, doing his best to supervise Kirk's training and bringing Kirk to participate in the business dealings of the gang so that he could nurture a qualified future gang leader. In the end, Kirk didn't let him down.
"Hmph!"
A clear, cold snort broke the silence. Everyone turned to look at the source of the sound. Nazan put away his usual gentle smile and donned a cold sneer. His true face was revealed.
