[Kirk's P.O.V.]
During the time I was kidnapped, the deepest impression I had wasn't when they left scars on my face, but when I waited for Grandpa to make a decision and when he called again.
It was a long and difficult time. I was cut by the person who seemed to be the leader of this group of people. As time passed, the wound burned in pain and blood slowly flowed down my cheek. If I didn't bandage it, every minute and second here was torture to me. To me, even time had become a tool to torture me.
After some time, the boss received a call. He glanced at his subordinates, indicating that he was going out for a while, and told them to watch over him. Then, he walked out without looking back.
