Steffany'S pov.
"Arghhhh" I groaned sleepily as the doorbell wouldn't stop ringing.
Who in their right senses, would leave their home at this early hour just to wake other people up from sleep? Where is Mrs Madison? Why isn't she answering the door?
I released a relief sigh and smiled sleepily in great joy when the bell finally stop ringing, then pulled my duvet over my head and completely covered myself up.
But my joy was short-lived as my duvet was suddenly ripped off me, exposing my skin to the coldness of the room and I angrily sprang up -I normally sleep with only my bra and panty on.
I glared at her with a displeased expression.
"Divya, what are you doing here so early in the morning?" I grumbled sleepily.
"Well, good morning to you too, darling" she started folding my duvet even though it's giving her a hard time. "... besides, it's already 7:30am, it's no longer considered early in the morning" she said.
7:30am already? I guess I went to bed very late last night, and it's all because of that b@stard husband of mine. I pouted my lips.
"Why didn't you go straight to the cafe since it's no longer early in the morning?" I asked her, but she ignored me and continued struggling with my duvet.
I leaned back against the headboard, reached for my favorite stuffed animal, a jaguar and hugged it to my chest.
"Go to the cafe and let me sleep for twenty-five minutes" I kissed my jaguar and rested my head on its.
"Sleep?" she scoffed. "In your dreams!"
Divya frustratingly threw the duvet on the floor, stomped on it and she put her hands on her waist, then narrowed her eyes fiercely at me.
"We both have an unfinished discussion last night, let's continue from where we stopped" she said.
My mind quickly replayed last night's event, then I recalled telling her about my plan on divorcing Justin and I mentally facepalm myself -my blabbermouth!
I could have proceeded with the divorce before telling her, because she's gonna try talking me out of it, like how she's been talking me out of it for four years now and I don't know if I'm strong willed enough to disagree with her this time.
Wait, could it be Justin's successfully paid her to keep me hooked to him?
"We don't have any unfinished discussion, go away and let me sleep" I told her.
"Don't fuçk with me, Mrs Bieber, start talking!" she growled.
"Don't call me that, I won't be Mrs Bieber after today"
She stared at me for a moment, then sighed and her fierce expression was replaced with a sympathetic look, she took a few steps towards me and sat at the edge of my bed.
"Baby, take a deep breath and you need to calm down, you're only taking a hasty decision right now and it's not the best way to handle this" she said calmly.
Alright, I know exactly where her car is headed.
"What's the best way then, because I really don't know anymore"
"I understand you perfectly fine, but have you sat down and have a heart to heart conversation with your husband? Do you know the reasons he's been hiding his marital status?"
Of course, I know the reason. They don't want his female fans to lose interest in him, because the more they crush on him and go crazy over him, the more money he'd make.
"Maybe he's doing all this to protect you"
"Protect me? From what?" I asked.
"A lot of things" I rolled my eyes. "I can feel that he's still in love with you and he wouldn't agree to the divorce"
"In love with me you say? Who stays away from someone they love for six good years without even visiting one day and say hello to them?"
"Steffany... "
"Divya, my mind is already made up and there's nothing you can say at the moment that would make me change my mind"
I put my teddy jaguar aside and slide off the bed, walked towards the closet, I opened it and Justin's clothes are the first things that caught my eyes. I sighed.
"Look, his clothes have been hanging here like this for years and you think I'll be happy seeing them?"
"You're being influenced by someone to file for divorce, that Ken is surely the instigator and I will make sure I scratch his face next time I see him!" Divya growled as she punched her left palm with her right fist, as if to illustrate how serious she is.
After searching through my clothes for a few seconds, I snatched a light pink bathrobe and wore it.
"Don't involve Ken in this, I and Justin's issues have nothing to do with him" I said walking out of the closet.
"Of course, it has a lot of things to do with him.
I walked towards the bathroom to do my morning routine; brush my teeth, wash my face and maybe release some waste products.
Divya followed me and stood outside the door, while I started brushing.
"You don't strongly wish to divorce Justin before Ken came into your life..." she paused. ".. hold on, are you two dating or something?" she asked.
"I wish we are..." I trailed off as I got water in my mouth and rinsed every inch of my mouth.
"What? You wish to date that.. that.. that..." she couldn't even find the right words to say.
"Relax, it's not possible between us because he's engaged and his wedding is next month" i told her.
"Really? He's engaged?"
I nodded with a smile.
"He's just my lawyer and there's strictly only business relationship between us" I assured her.
She cleared her throat and tucked some hair behind her ear.
"It's better that way" she huffed out.
"Let's go downstairs for breakfast, Mrs Madison promised to cook my favorite" I said as I walked out of the bathroom and headed towards the door, Divya quickly rushed after me.
♣♣♣♣♣
I saw Mrs Madison standing by the door, when we arrived at the living room, she seemed to be talking to someone outside and I tilted my head slightly to get a glimpse of whoever she's talking to, but couldn't.
"Mrs Madison, who's at the door?" I asked.
"It's barrister Ken"
"Let him in" I said and walked towards a sofa.
Divya glared maliciously at the door, before storming towards another sofa and sat down. Like seriously, I don't know why she hold so much grudge against Ken.
Mrs Madison gave way for Ken to come in and he smiled appreciatively at her, then walked towards me.
My eyes settled on a blue file in his hand.
"Good morning, sexy" he greeted me as he leaned towards me and gave me a brief side hug.
Divya scoffed and coughed as if she's reminding me of her presence.
"Good morning" I replied Ken's greeting and pulled away from the hug. "Aren't you supposed to be at your office at this time?" I asked and glanced at the wall clock.
"Yeah, about that, my fiancee and I are doing our pre-wedding photoshoot today.."
"Awwwwn, that's so sweet" I gushed with an envious smile.
I never get to wear a real wedding dress, and Justin and I didn't even bothered about pre-wedding photoshoot because there was no money for it then.
".. yeah, hence I decided to deliver your documents before leaving" he said stretching the blue file towards me.
"Well, this is very thoughtful of you, thanks" I thanked him after collecting the file.
"You're welcome, but I gotta run now" he said as he rushed towards the door. "See you later" he added and dashed out.
I stared at the file with mixed feelings; I'm happy the divorce papers are here and I'll soon get my freedom, but partly sad because it means the end of Justin and I.
"Someone just called you sexy and you're saying he has no interest in you?" Divya pipped in.
"You heard him just now, he's doing his pre-wedding photoshoot today" I reminded her of Ken's words.
She rolled her eyes and scoffed unbelievably.
"Anything can happen, who knows if he'd call off the wedding and break things off with his fiancee because of you"
I giggled hysterically for a very brief moment, then shook my head and dumped the file on the table.
"Don't think so highly of me, baby" I told her.
Her eyes landed on the file.
"Are you really gonna divorce him?" she asked, referring to Justin.
"Yes and don't ask me about it again" she pouted her lips and blinked innocently at me. "You'll head to the cafe after breakfast and I'll head over to Justin's company"
"You think he'd agree to sign this?"
"Of course, he has no choice"
"Uh, steffany, I suggest you sit down and... "
"Mrs Madison, is breakfast ready yet!" I interrupted Divya by screaming over words.
"You devil" she reached for a cushion and threw it at me, but I stuck out my tongue at her.
She grabbed another cushion and threw it at me, but I dodged it and soon we're having a pillow fight.

THIRD PERSON'S pov.
>>STEFFTIN'S ENTERTAINMENT<<
Mr Bieber sat on his big swivel chair, he looked outside through the glass window and watched the busy road below; pedestrians are walking up and down, cars are honking as the drivers are very eager to get away from the heavy traffic jam.
He played absentmindedly with the cube puzzle he was holding. His ears pricked up when he heard his office door creak open, but he didn't turn around to see who walked in because he knew only his assistant can come up here.
"Mr Bieber, here's the latest update from Mrs Bieber's secret bodyguard" his assistant said.
"Hm" he hummed, cueing his assistant to continue.
"Sir, according to Mrs Bieber's secret bodyguard, she has been hanging around a lawyer recently" he reported.
"A lawyer?"
"Yes, sir, and from Dave's observation, it seems like she's getting some papers ready"
"What papers?"
"Divorce papers"
Mr Bieber stopped playing with the cube puzzle, he swivelled his chair around and looked at his assistant with a scared and shocked expression.
His assistant took a step back, since this was the first time he's seen Mr Bieber in this state, he doesn't even know if he should continue with his report anymore or even flee from there.
"What?!" Mr Bieber growled. "Any news from Miss Divya?" he asked quickly, there's a hint of panic in his voice.
Right at that moment, Mr Bieber's phone started ringing. He reached for it and saw Divya's name flashing on the screen, then he quickly swiped to the answer button.
"Hello?"
"Mr Bieber, your wife is coming over with divorce papers, I tried to talk her out of it but she didn't listen to me" she sighed sadly. "I guess she's really made up her mind this time"
Mr Bieber closed his eyes, he did a sharp intake of breath and pulled his hair.
"Then... you'll do me another favor" he said.
"Sure. What do you want me to do?" Divya asked.

Steffany'S pov.
>>Stefftin'S ENTERTAINMENT<<
My neck hurt, as I raised my head and stared at the words Stefftin's entertainment boldly written at approximately the 2nd floor of this sky-crapper; it's Justin's company.
Tears immediately brimmed my eyes, as I had a quick flashback to the day Justinbrought me here and told me this company is his and it's named after us -our ship name precisely.
I was overexcited that I didn't feel hungry for days and ended up passing out from malnutrition, I couldn't help but laughed at the memory. I never knew I'd come back here, just to end everything that happened between Justin and I; such is life.
I walked into the building and was shocked to see how big the company's grown over the years, everyone's working efficiently, they all seemed so focus in their work as if they're handling a big project.
My eyes searched around for the receptionist's desk until I found it, the receptionist waved at me with a polite smile and I smiled back, then approached her.
"How can we help you, Miss?" the receptionist asked.
"I'm here for Justin Bieber" I answered.
"Do you have an appointment?" she asked again.
"No"
"Then, I'm afraid you can't see him, appointments are made before seeing or meeting with Mr Bieber" she said very calmly and politely.
"Is there no way I can see him today?"
"No, unless you'll make an appointment today and come back tomorrow"
What should I do now? I must see him today and get this papers signed, then an idea suddenly popped up in my head.
"Can you give his office a call and inform him that Miss steffany Daniels is here to see him?" I asked.
"Yes, please hold on a second" she said and started typing away in her landline.
She spoke softly to someone on the other end for a few seconds, then turned back to me with a smile.
"Mr Bieber allow you to see him" she said.
"Thank you" I thanked her and headed towards the elevator.
It's not surprising that not even one of his staffs recognize me, I have to make appointments before I get to see my own husband, what a shame.
I got in the elevator and pressed the 47th button, then I patiently waited for elevator to bring me to my destination.
♣♣♣♣♣
Finally, the elevator came to a stop, the doors opened and I stepped out.
I walked towards the end of this floor, before I finally saw a door and I knew it's Justin's office. I knocked on the door and heard a faint come in.
I pushed the door open and entered.
Justin smiled when he saw me walk in, his eyes trailed my body and I saw his Adam's apple move as he gulped, even his jaw dropped as his eyes stayed glue on my chest.
Yeah, that's it, that's the look I wanna see on his face, I want him to know I'm doing great without him. I smirked mentally on the effect I have on him.
He got up and walked towards me with his arms wide open, as if he's inviting me for a hug. I slightly pushed him aside and sat on the chair in front of his table.
He sat on the chair next to me and continued smiling at me.
"My heartbeat, what are you doing here? Why did you suddenly come to see me in my office today?" he asked.
Really? Heartbeat? That's so hypocritical of him, heartbeat indeed! Gone are the days when my heart flutter everytime he called me his heartbeat.
"I'm here for a very important business, so, let's get down with it" I said.
"Ooh, I love businesses" he replied with a smile.
He's so clueless, he doesn't know what I've come for, because he wouldn't be smiling if he knows.
He tried to reach for my hand, but I slapped his hand away and threw him a glare.
"I'm not here to mess around with you" I dipped my hand in my bag and pulled out the file Ken gave me earlier, then slammed it on his table. "Let's divorce!" I dropped the bombshell.
He stared at the file on the table for a while, then looked up at my face.
"You're kidding, right?" he asked with a chuckle.
I stared back at him, with my face free of every emotions.
"Do I look like I'm kidding?"
He looked back at the file.
"So, you really want a divorce?"
"Yes, and I have signed it" I said as I pushed the file towards him. "I don't need your properties or money, just sign it"
He shifted his gaze from the file to my face, he stared directly in my eyes for a while as if he's searching for something only God knows.
"I'm not gonna sign it" he said.
I frowned.
"Why? There's nothing holding us back, right?" I nodded at it. "Just sign it and we'll both be free"
"Darling... "
I glared at him and he swallowed his words immediately, but he soon cleared his throat and continued.
"We're husband and wife, Steffany, you can't just wake up one day and spring divorce papers on me"
I gaped at him.
"Husband and wife?" He nodded. "Do you even recall the road to your home? When was the last time you came home? When was the last time we had breakfast or lunch or dinner together?"
He tilted his head as if he's really trying to recall it.
"See? You don't even remember, and you still think of yourself as my husband?"
"Yeah, I do take care of you and never let you lack of anything"
What is he trying to say? In what way does he care for me?
"I do send you money everyday and make sure I pay our workers in time"
I banged on the table immediately he vomited those words, and he flinched back slightly.
"What is wrong with you? You are a billionaire now and you think money can solve or buy everything?"
"Steffany... "
"Don't call my name, you have no right to say it!" I snapped at him. "Can money cuddle with me during cold, raining nights? Can money make love to me and produce kids? Can money remind me to take my drugs in time everytime I fall sick?"
Hurt flashed across his eyes, he quickly shut them, leaned back on his chair and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"I don't need your money, Justin, what I need is your companionship and you aren't offering it"
I pushed my hair back and blinked to fight back the tears that were threatening to fall, I didn't come here to cry.
"Or do you think I've been living off your money?" I chuckled. "No, I'm not, I have my own money and it's enough for me, even though it's not much"
"You don't understand why I'm distancing myself from you, everything is not as easy as I'm making it seem and... "
"Then make me understand" I cut in. "Let me know your difficulties"
He simply shook his head.
"I can't, it's gonna hurt you and I don't want that"
"Hurt me?"
"Yes, the lesser you know, the safer you'd be for me.." he folded his arms on his chest. ".. just give me sometime and I'll make everything go back to normal soon"
I scoffed at his empty promise.
"I'm tired, Justin, very tired" I said "I'm also tired coming back from a very busy day at the cafe, only to meet an empty and lonely mansion everyday"
"I..."
I raised my hand to stop him and shook my head.
"My mind is made up, just sign the divorce papers and we'll both be finally free" I said.
He got up, stared at the papers with a deep and serious frown, then he sighed deeply.
"Fine, but I ain't gonna sign it now"
"What? Why not now?"
"Come to my concert and I'll consider signing it"
I narrowed my eyes as I wondered; what's going on up there in his head? what he he trying to do?
"I'm not coming to your concert, my presence there doesn't matter and..."
"Just come, I have a very important announcement to make and I can consider signing it after"
Wait, a very important announcement? Has he finally decided to make our marriage public? Has he finally decided to tell the world I'm his wife?
"Fine"
"Fuçk yeah!" he exclaimed quietly. "Did you receive the dress I sent? Do you like it?" he asked.
"No"
He sighed.
"I guess the delivery man will deliver it later, wear it tonight, I wanna see how it looks on you" he sighed. "It's been long I saw you try on a dress" he added.
"And whose fault is that?" I asked with a raised brow.
He speechlessly scratched the back of his neck and grinned goofily.
"I'm leaving"
"Oh, my driver will drop you off"
I quickly shook my head in disagreement.
"No, I prefer taking taxis" I replied him. "And tell your girlfriends to stop paying me visits, I might murder one of them someday" I added and headed towards the door, leaving Justin completely speechless.
