Chereads / Shattered Girl / Chapter 4 - 4

Chapter 4 - 4

PART : 4

This morning Justin finished wearing an office suit that covered his athletic body. After last night's horrendous incident, he was no longer interested in continuing to sleep at the hotel and chose to return home.

"Morning," said Alice with a sweet smile, welcoming Justin who was about to have breakfast.

"Throw your smile away," he replied in response to Alice's attitude, which he thought would not make her melt. Never mind melting, even glancing at him seemed to make his day worse.

Alice made a stern face at Justin's attitude. "Why do you keep acting like that towards me? Am I doing something wrong?"

Justin smiled slyly. "Still asking why? Do I need to mention your mistakes one by one?!"

Alice took a deep breath as if trying to be patient with Justin's bad attitude towards her. It's been almost a year and she is still cold by this man. In fact, other men are willing to queue to get her, while Justin is the opposite.

"Open your mouth," she asked Justin while directing a spoonful of food towards the boy's mouth.

He had been patient for a long time, but it seemed like a woman like Alice would never stop making him feel annoyed. Quickly and roughly, he pushed the girl's hand away from him. Until the food and spoon ended up on the floor.

Several household assistants were seen peeking from the kitchen when they heard the sound of a spoon falling on the floor.

Justin got up from his seat and glared at Alice. "I told you, didn't I... don't act like that to me again! Don't you understand, huh!? Should I be harsh on everything you do to me before I understand?!" Justin snapped.

Alice could only remain silent. She doesn't think that she could fight Justin when he's this emotional. She experienced it several times when he continued to deny what she said, resulting in a very bad ending.

"Excuse me ..."

"No forgiveness for you!" he shouted.

Alice was shocked and narrowed her eyes when she heard the shout. Like a bolt of fire coming out of a dragon's mouth. That's the analogy when Justin is angry.

Justin deliberately kicked the chair until it falls. Then quickly walked away from there. Where else is the goal if not starting the routine today.

"What are you looking at! Do your work!" Alice snapped, finding several household assistants still peeking.

In terms of people under her, she is indeed strong. If she was already facing Justin, she is not. If she continued to fight, it was not impossible that her life would be lost in that man's hands. But still, if she remains silent, when will she be able to win Justin's heart?

His mornings are always made messy by a woman named Alice. He hoped a lot that he could get away with his life, but he still couldn't.

Sometimes people will think when they see the woman in the midst of her family. Yes, for people who don't know. They will assume that she is a distant relative or maybe a next-door neighbor.

Would everyone believe him if he said that the woman named Alice was his wife? Yes, wife. Even he himself couldn't believe he could marry a woman like that. Really, if it wasn't for his mother, he would have killed her.

An incident forced him to marry Alice. Yes, as a woman she was so bad and cunning... that she deliberately trapped herself. Even though he could refuse and avoid it, because he made sure he didn't do anything to her, his mother forced him to marry Alice.

"Drive!" he ordered the driver.

"Yes, sir," he said immediately.

The car left the residential area which was considered elite. Not long after, maybe only five minutes into the journey, suddenly his gaze was accidentally drawn to a flat object that was just lying beside him.

He took the object. A phone with a peach-colored case. Alice's phone? Of course, that's impossible. In fact, he never allowed that woman to enter his car. Married, that's just a status. For the rest, please go your own way.

"Shirley," he muttered, remembering. Yes, he remembers. This phone belonged to Shirley who left it in the hotel room last night.

"Sir, I need to go visit a place first," he said to the driver.

This morning the schedule changed slightly. Yep, the bow is now pointing towards Shirley's family residence. Come on, this is a sophisticated era. You don't have to ask the homeowner to find out the address.

The car stopped in front of a house with a two-meter-high fence blocking the entrance.

"Sir ..."

"Let me get off and get in," said Justin in response to the driver's words.

Getting out of the car, he approached the security guard who was behind the fence.

"Shirley is there, right?" Justin asked directly to the security guard behind the fence

"Sorry, who are you?"

This was Justin's first time visiting. So, the security won't let him enter the resident freely.

"My name is Justin, please tell Mr. Emil that I want to meet him," he said.

"Just a moment," he replied.

This was the first time he was left standing waiting in front of the gate. If it wasn't for returning Shirley's phone, he wouldn't have done this stupid thing. Making his reputation fall to the bottom of the ocean. The question is, why did he even want to do that?

Not long after, the security guard approached him again. But this time he immediately opened the gate and invited him in.

"Thank you," he said back into the car.

Now Justin, Emil and Betty are in the living room. The three of them are still in each other's minds. Justin is taking stock of the situation around him, while Shirley's parents still have annoyed faces.

"Ahem," Emil cleared his throat, making Justin's gaze turn to him. "So, what brings you here?"

Justin looked at Emil coldly, then showed Shirley's phone in his hand. "I want to return this phone to its owner," he answered.

"No need!"

"Are your emotions still not down, Mr. Emil?" Justin asked casually.

He wanted to be angry, but he had to remember who Justin was and who he was. There's a problem, the business could run out right this second.

"Just throw away the phone," replied Emil.

"Why? What's wrong with this thing?" Justin asked back.

Emil got up from his sitting position. "Sorry, I didn't mean to chase you away. But it's better for you to leave here now. Because my wife and I have business," he explained directly.

Justin smiled at the corners of his lips in response to Emil's words. Not intending to expel him, but that's called expelling him directly.

"Where's Shirley?" Justin asked.

"Please get out of here." Betty said.

The phone that he had intended to return to Shirley, now crashed and ended up on the floor tragically. Shattered in pieces. "I asked, where is Shirley!?" The question is not answered, that is a sign of resistance.

Don't think he is a patient person. That's a big mistake. His ambitions are very high, so don't try to go against his wishes.

At the same time, suddenly there was the sound of breaking objects coming from upstairs. Not long after, two household assistants also arrived in a hurry.

"Sorry, sir, madam. Miss Shirley throwing a tantrum in the room," he explained.

Betty immediately rushed to her daughter's room.

"What the hell, kid," growled Emil, walking quickly towards the 2nd floor, following in his wife who had gone first.

Betty opened the door. What was the first thing he discovered? Yep, that's right... the floor full of scattered objects. Like vases, glasses, plates, books, even mirrors were destroyed. As them room been hit by an earthquake.

"What are you doing, Shirley?!" Emil snapped at his daughter who was now looking at him annoyed.

"I don't want to stay here, Dad... I don't want to!" she shouted. "Papa and Mama can't lock me up like this."

"This is punishment for you because you made that mistake. So far, we have given you freedom, doesn't mean you are free to have sex like a bad girl. Now everything has happened... do you think we will give you that freedom again?"

Shirley walked closer to her father. "Daddy, why don't you believe me? I never done that...never, Papa! You should have believed me."

The middle-aged man's face turned red with emotion as Shirley continued to deny it. Now, she dare to speak in front of him without fear.

'Smack' A slap directly hit the girl's cheek. Making her crash onto the floor.

It hurt and now her hand accidentally touched the mirror shards scattered on the floor. She tried to hold back the pain when she starts to saw blood starting to come out of the wounds.

Emil didn't care about any of that. His emotions seemed to fill his brain when his words were denied by the princess. Betty, who only intended to approach Shirley, held back. "Do you feel like an adult now by denying everything Papa says? Does being 19 years old prove that you are free to do anything!?"

"When a child tries to defend himself, she will get bad treatment like this? Would a good father easily slap his daughter?!"

This question made Emil and Betty direct their gaze to the source of the sound.
