He picked up the sound of a deer that was taking a stroll deep in the forest and went after it. The moon was shining brightly tonight thus the forest was not as dark as it used to be. Raquel knew it would be an easy hunt because not very many creatures were active at this time of the night.
When he got deeper and deeper into the forests the sound became more and more clear which clearly confused him. Raquel was picking up more and more sounds as he neared the place. He was jumping from one tree to another a his mode of transportation. He saw a deer that was walking,,,, I mean running towards his direction despite sensing the danger standing on it's path.
Raquel jumped down from the tree aiming directly for the poor deer. When Raquel touched the animal he could sense the fear emanating from it. He knew it was not fear for him but for something that it was tunning away from. Whatever it was, it would have to wait for this person to quench his thirst.
The deer tried to struggle from his grip but it was all futile. He held the animal by it's neck and snapped it's head from it's body. Blood started gushing out like a water pipe that had been destroyed. Raquel held his meal and sunk his teeth deep into the deer's neck as some of the blood poured on his clothes, not like he cared. The taste of blood in his mouth was so amaizing for a pure blooded vampire who had not taken blood for a very long time his control was really high.
He drank until the last drop. Well his clothes also helped alot as they were soaked in blood too. Anyone looking closer now would see that his red eyes had turned a shade darker than before. This was the proof to show that he was a pureblood. He stood up from the dead carcass as more animals ran in his direction.
'And now to see what's causing the animals to behave this wierd.' He thought as he walked in the direction the animals were running from. The more he neared the place the more the sounds became more and more clearer.
Her could hear growling noises coming from up ahead and new that there was a fight that was taking place in the forest he ran the remaining distance only to be shocked at the sight infront of him. There was a brown haired wolf that was fighting against three humans. Well not like it was fighting more like it was on the receiving end for brows and knives.
From the looks and smell of it Raquel knew that it was an omega. The reason why they we're able to attack it so easily is because it was weak. Raquel could tell that the werewolf was in heat and it was a time when they wer really weak and thus easy to attack. If Raquel did not intervene he knew that the wolf would surely die. As he walked near the three people who had totally covered their faces, he noticed the tattoos on each of their arms and knew that they were all in danger. The spiral tattoo with an arrow shooting through it was used by the hunters. Raquel them noted the black powder that they held in their arms.
'Wolfsbane.' That was the only thought that closed his mind. He totally knew that the wolf didn't stand a chance. The three hunters seemed to have sensed his presence because they all turned their eyes and looked at him.
"What do you think you are doing here human?" hunter one asked.
"Just taking a stroll. What are you doing to that poor animal?" Raquel pretended like he did not know what they we're doing. His dark red eyes looked black making him look human.
"Just pretend you saw nothing and be on your way kid." The same hunter replied. Raquel concluded that he was their leader. Raquel watched as the wolf wimpered in pain.
"But what is in for me if I leave."
"Kid stop being a smarty pants and just dissapear." Raquel used his super speed and ran only to appear infront of the hunter.
"Call me a kid again and I can promise you that you will not see the light of day again." Raquel said as he brought his face close to the hunters face. It was only then that the hunter was able to notice his dark red eyes and smirked.
"I can see that tonight is our lucky night mates. A werewolf and a pure blooded vampire." He said while addressing his friends.
"Your lucky night indeed since you will be meeting thw devil in person soon. Don't forget to send him my greetings now." Raquel replied as he released a killing intent. The wolf let out a loud howl that resonated in the whole forest before it collapsed. Raquel knew it would only take a while before the other werewolves join. The hunters knew the same thing as their leader barked at them to finish off the wolf at once.
Raquel intervened and stopped the two hunters by kicking both of them. The kicks sent them flying until their bodies hit the banks of the trees behind them. The leader was shocked at how fast the vampire had moved from where he was to where his colleagues were. He knew he had yo leave because the wolf had already summoned for help from its friends.
Raquel was having non of it. He knew if they managed to leave the place alive it would only wreck more havoc for the rest of them. He went to the two of the hunters who were lying under the trees trying hard to stand up. He lifted the one closest to him by the neck and ripped it off from it's body. The leader seemed to have had some senses knocked into his stupid brain as he tried to run away.
Immediately a large grey werewolf appeared infront of him causing him to be immobile. He removed wolfs bane and was trying to to throw it at the new wolf when his hands were held down sizing any movements.
The grey wolf removed it's claws and slit the hunters throat. Raquel finished off the other hunter as the werewolf was watching him. He turned and stared at the grey wolf which was headed to the brown haired wolf. It's green eyes were being reflected in the moonlight.
