"Phew.. Its finally salary day!"
Yan De exclaimed excitedly.
Yan De is an orphan, both his parents died together in a car crash while coming to fetch him from school.
He had no other relative besides his grandma and grandpa. When they found out of the car crash he & them couldn't help but bellow in agony.
His grandma and grandpa were poor people. Despite that, they took care of him until he was 15.
After which, he took jobs mainly being a construction worker. He also took part-time jobs like working as a waiter or a barista.
"Yan De, this is your wage"
A man holding a briefcase wearing a suit said and handed Yan De his salary. His name is Simon, although Simon is their boss. Simon is very friendly to everyone despite the hierarchy.
"Boss... I think you've given me extra"
Yan De said seeing the 10,000 php in front of him.
"Hahaha the extra 3,000 is my bonus for you. Although, It came from my own pocket I can't bear to see a kid as young as you work in this rough environment."
It was true, everytime Simon saw Yan De working he always saw him coughing or having occasional fevers.
"Boss! Thank you! Thank you so much. it means alot!" I can finally buy my grandparents their medicines and help with the financial situation in our house!"
Yan De looked at Simon with sparkling eyes almost crying as he clenched the money in the brown envelope/packet.
"Yes yes, you can go now"
Simon said while avoiding eye contact with Yan De afraid he would give more after he sees the kid's sincere eyes.
Just as when Yan De celebrated he heard something ring in his mind along with a mechanical voice.

A little less than 5 minutes, Yan De got off from work and boarded the jeepney to ride him to the nearest drug store near his grandparent's place.
Yan De got off the jeepney and paid 15 php for the ride and saw a line of people at the drugstore. Although, luckily it was not long and it would be his turn soon in about 2 minutes.
2 minutes after, it was finally Yan De's turn.
"Good Evening Sir, How would I help you today?"
Yan De showed the prescription given by the doctor to the clerk and paid a little over 635 php.
Yan De then got a notification and heard the system ring.

"A pill with those effects, is this really not a dream or a scam? But, seeing as how these things seem so real and randomly appear on my palm. Without a doubt everything is happening is real."
Yan De immediately ran home and put down the two medicine he got on the table.
Fortunately, his grandparents weren't home and was at the market or else he would have gotten a scolding for not taking of his shoes and clothes before going to his room.
When he settled down his bag and sat down on his bedroom floor.
He immediately swallowed the pill without thinking about it twice.
"Huh?.. I don't feel any different though."
Just when Yan De said that karma hit him HAAARRRRRDDDD.
He began Feeling a burning sensation and bites on his body gradually getting hotter and the bites getting stronger.
Soon in just 5 minutes he yelled out swear words that he didn't even know that he knew those swear words.
After which, he began sweating out black matters which stinks like f*ck.
After a little while longer, about 20 mins the pain lessened down.
He exhaled in relief and inhaled, he stood up and looked at himself in the mirror.
He touched himself in disbelief as he couldn't recognize himself.
He perfectly matched the aesthetic of the Greek Gods.
With his majestic rose red eyes and hair as black as the dark. Just his looks alone is unparalleled but his smell right now was unparalleled too.
He then rushed out of his room and ran to the washroom to take a bath when he smelled that his body was too stinky.
As if, 13 billion years worth of trash was piled up and he slept in it for 20,000 Years.
Suprisingly, even though he had already used up 2 bars of soap washing his body extensively.
He didn't feel tired at all, He even felt like he can now climb Mt. Everest a 10,000 times without rest.
When he got out of the shower and patted his body with a towel and began to look at himself in the mirror once again.
He couldn't help but think, "DAMN I FEEL LIKE I CAN EVEN FALL INLOVE WITH MYSELF."
Soon he heard the house's door open. It was his grandparents coming home when they saw that the washroom's light was switched on.
Judith said,
"Yan De did you just come home? How long ago did you come home?"
Judith was 62 years old and Robert was 65.
Although , they were old and had alot of white hair. They still took care of Yan De, thus he was extremely grateful towards them.
Yan De replied
"Not long ago Ma, I'll be out of the washroom soon."
"Okay! Honey, prepare the plates and let's eat. We bought take out."
Judith replied while talking to Robert.
When Yan De got out of the washroom they immediately stood up from their seats and stared at him as if he was a stranger.
They said,
"Who are you!? Where is our grandson!?"
