"What do you mean he recognises one person from the pictures? Is it one of his assailants" I ask wide eyed.
I had left the council meeting room almost immediately after I got the text from Erin. I also tell Abby to meet me in the hospital, Zen still needs to be followed and if I was investigating the reason why the human recognizes someone from the picture, I can't follow Zeb.
"Aren't you at the meeting?" he asked me back. Surprise evident in his eyes.
"Forget that. Tell me."
He sighed and turned to the guards that stood in front of the human's room,
"You may all go home, M and i will take it from here. I'll text you when to come back."
They look at him, stunned. Since they did come here, they haven't gone home once, or even slept, they survived on energy bars and the occasional bathroom breaks. Erin the ever thoughtful, only him will give them a break.
