"What?" I ask as I watch Rufus who seemed to have aged at least ten years since I last saw him. His hair was thinner and he looked like he hadn't had a bath in days.
"She found me, took me right out of my pack without anyone noticing, and forced me to give her the stone if I wanted to see my son alive, she threatened to kill him. And he was not picking up his phone no matter how much I called, I called you too M, same thing, and I heard something had happened. I had to give it to her, I'm sorry. I came here as fast as I could after she left me."
I sigh. She must have just gotten her abilities back, so she was running on fumes. Which is why she had to take her to a secluded place. And she was totally bluffing him, she must have been really weak.
"It isn't your fault. But now that she has all the stones. The moon goddess help us all." I sigh and sink into myself.
