I am not surprised when my parents struggle with the picnic basket, not your everyday size, this was probably the biggest size there was. I sigh and get up to help them. Erin's parents shuffle closely behind them, another picnic basket in tow.
"Did you guys pack enough food to feed an army?" I ask them as guards file in to arrange a foldable round table. Okay they prepared for this visit. Almost as if they were waiting for it to happen.
Erin's mother dotes on him, thanking the moon goddess for keeping her son, and Erin looks uncomfortable, but I am sure he likes it.
"Where is he?" my mom asked turning back to peer out of the door.
I blink, who was the he she was asking about?
"You broke your leg to get out of a bondage?" my father says looking at me like he was not really seeing me.
