"Can't you heal it or something?"
I glare at Seth.
"Try heaving a battered person, a shocked one, and two almost passed out friends, all the while with a broken leg, then we will talk." I groan as I drop Garrett and Abby on the grass field. The fight forged ahead behind us. I would like nothing but to keep moving, but my strength was limited. This was as far as I could take all of us. I had pulled in my remaining strength and heaven knows I was exhausted.
Seth shifted back to me. Sticking his hand out in my direction, I frown at the gesture.
"You look like you need a shoulder to lean on. And my shoulder is pretty messed up right now. This is what I can offer."
I stop the smile that threatened to bloom. I still have no idea where we stand with each other, but I reach out and entangle our bloodied fingers. The familiar electric currents spikes up from where our fingers touch to my arm and my entire body.
