"It is also something I can't tell you right now. It is our first date remember?"
He chuckled,
"Quite a first date don't you think? And you seeing that far into the distance was not the weirdest thing that happened to us today."
I sigh and sink into the wall, I hated keeping a secret this big from him, but really I was scared about what he would say when he knew that I was half human, half wolf.
"I wanted this to be perfect you know, for you. I wanted to impress you, but I feel like the harder I tried, the worst it became."
I turned to goo at that, how can I not?
"You already impress me enough, you don't have to beat yourself over it. I promise."
"I also wanted to make you feel special." He leans in and picks a strand of hair from my face and tucks it behind my ear, causing a ripple of electricity to ride down my spine.
