"That hits the spot. Did you finish, Murasaki?" Menma patted his stomach and turned around. But, he found that Murasaki hadn't even finished half of it.
"If you remember, we still need to train. Finish it quick!" Menma couldn't help but get speechless from his eating speed.
"I can't…. This is too much." Murasaki declined as he passed the ramen to him.
"Idiot, I am not going to eat yours. And, if you don't eat properly, how are you going to train Taijutsu? Don't tell me you plan to pass out in the middle of the training?" Menma looked at him with disgust and passed the Ramen back to him.
"But, this is too much." Kurasaki almost bursts into tears but continued to eat.
"No wonder you have such a fragile physique. You need to eat more." Menma got speechless and decided to wait. After a few minutes, Murasaki barely finished his Ramen.
As they walked out, they saw Naruto coming toward the Ramen. Murasaki had an unnatural expression on his face as he tried to dodge Naruto's gaze but Menma was simply staring at Naruto.
Naruto also saw them and lowered his head. He was also trying to dodge their gaze. But when they reached in front of each other, Menma spoke.
"Hey Naruto, are you going for the Ramen?"
Naruto paused and his heart was in turmoil. He slowly raised his head and nodded.
Menma had a gentle smile on his face. He slapped Murasaki's back and scolded him.
"You should learn how to eat Ramen from Naruto. Anyway, we have already eaten some so we can't join you this time. Let's eat some other time."
Menma smiled and walked away with Murasaki who was still confused.
Naruto also didn't know how to respond. But inside, he was feeling incredibly happy. His happiness almost appeared on his face as he ran toward Ramen Shop.
"Menma, when did you start talking to him? Aren't adults going to be angry at us if we talk to him?" Murasaki asked.
Hearing his question, Menma looked at him and asked "Then, will you tell me why shouldn't we talk to him?"
"Ahh… Isn't it because adults don't talk to him? I even suspect he is not from our village." Murasaki responded.
Menma slapped his head and scolded him.
"You idiot! Your parent's friends are your parent's friends. Your friends are your friends. By the time you become an adult, most adults would be under the grave. So, why do you think their opinions matter?"
"And, do you really think Naruto is a bad guy?"
Murasaki felt like Menma was cursing his parents but he didn't think too much rather his last question made him stuck. He had been in the same class with Naruto for two years now. He knows Naruto isn't a bad guy. At least, he hasn't made any trouble.
But, even his parents told him to stay away from Naruto. That's why he didn't like Naruto.
"You don't have to decide now. Just take your time and gradually start talking to him. Anyway, even I don't have the right to say whom you should be friends with even though I am of your age, much less your parents."
Murasaki nodded his head and decided not to think about it right now. They went to the weapon shop and surprised when he went there, he saw a girl. This girl was wearing a Japanese Style white upper garment and blue trousers. She had a cute expression on her face as she was polishing the kunai.
When she heard the sound of the door opening, a woman next to her who was also cleaning the ninja tools turned her head at them. Seeing the kids, she lost some of her interest but still greeted them with a smile.
"Miss, can we get Training Weights?"
"Oh! How much weight do you need?" The woman picked up a little interest as she asked.
"How much is it for two ankle sets and two wrist sets for 50 Kilograms and 100 Kilograms?" Menma asked.
"Oh! It costs 5000 Ryo for 50 Kilograms weights and 10000 Ryo for 100 kilograms weight for one full set." The woman replied with a smile.
Hearing her words, Menma thought 'I only have seven thousand Ryo for now. Maybe I can try bargaining with her."
"Miss, can I get one 25 Kilograms full set, and two 50 kilograms full set in 10000 Ryo."
Hearing his words, the woman chuckled.
"Boy, you can't bargain like that. If I give you three sets at that price, I would suffer a loss. How about 12000 Ryo? I am already giving you a 500 discount. I can't go lower than that."
Menma gritted his teeth and said "Miss, then how about adding three shurikens and two kunai for that price?"
At this moment, Murasaki pulled his shirt. His face was burning red with embarrassment.
"Boy, do you even know the price of Shrunkens and Kunai? It costs 100Ryo for one shrunken and 200Ryo for one Kunai. That would mean I will lose 700Ryo."
"How about I give you two Shuriken at that price?" The woman got a bit angry at his bargaining but seeing him as not much older than her daughter calmed down her anger.
Menma wasn't willing to go down that easily.
"Miss, how about two Kunai instead?"
Hearing his words, the woman almost burst into flames but suddenly, another voice rang from outside.
"Is that you Menma?"
The door opened and a woman walked in. She was holding a basket in her hand. When Menma saw her, his eyes widened.
"Mom! What are you doing here?"
"I just heard someone bargaining so much that I had to come in." Yuki pulled his ear and scolded.
"You can't bargain like that. She was already kind enough to give you two Extra Shurikens while decreasing the price. Do you want her to suffer loss?"
Yuki turned around and bowed down.
"Sorry for my son's behavior."
"Hehe! It's okay, Yuki. I didn't know he was your son. I guess being a mission does make us more distant." The woman giggled and calmly approached his mother and hugged her.
"Yeah, it's been so long. You have been doing missions while I stopped being Shinobi." Yuki sighed as her distant memories came to her mind.
"Mom, you know each other?" Menma was surprised by their interaction. At the same time, the small girl who was also aged his age looked curiously at her mother.
Yuki turned her head at Menma and smiled brightly.
"Neki and I have been together since childhood. We were very close friends. Neki is amazing at Sealing Jutsu and the way she uses her weapons in the battle is also amazing. She created her own style of battle."
"Stop praising me too much! You were also amazing with your medical ninjutsu. I still remember how desperate you were to become someone like Lady Tsunade."
At this moment, two voices rang at the same time.
"Is that true aunty?" / "Are you good at Sealing Jutsu/Medical Ninjutsu?"
These two voices belonged to Menma and TenTen. Both of them looked at each other after what they just said.
And, they were opposed to each other. Menma was asking Neki while TenTen was asking Yuki.
Neki and Yuki looked at each other with surprise.
"Menma, you never said you wanted to learn Sealing Jutsu. Why did you want to do it now?" Yuki asked.
"TenTen, shouldn't you focus on Sealing Jutsu? You are my daughter and the only one who can inherit my fighting style." Neki spoke at the same time.
"No, I don't want to learn your technique. I want to be like Lady Tsunade. I want to learn Medical Ninjutsu." TenTen argued with her mom and puffed out her cheeks. She looked really cute at this moment.
"Mom, I told you yesterday that I want to be the best shinobi, right? In my eyes, Lord Fourth was the best Shinobi in the world. I want to be just like him. And, Sealing Jutsu is the foundation for that." Menma proudly stated.
He truly thinks that Minato was the best Shinobi. His fighting style, his looks, his talent, everything was top-notch. If he was given more time, Minato would even surpass the likes of early Madara and Hashirama.
That much potential he had. Unfortunately, he died.
Yuki was surprised by her son's role model. The hero of the Konoha, the fourth Hokage. He was not much famous since he only became Hokage for two to three years.
"Where did you learn that he was good at Sealing Jutsu?" Yuki asked suspiciously.
"Ehh! I have been visiting the Library. I learned that from the history books. Murasaki and I have just come back from the library. We learned about Taijutsu and so we came to buy weights to train Taijutsu effectively." Menma answered but his expressions were a bit unnatural.
Yuki didn't notice it. She simply nodded her head and said "So, you were late because you went to the library?"
Menma nodded his head.
Yuki took a deep breath and turned around.
"Neki, can you please teach my son Sealing Jutsu? I know it is your unique style of fighting and it is something personal but I just want my son to achieve his goal."
Hearing her words, Neki smiled and sighed "I also have the same favor to ask. Since TenTen doesn't want to train my Jutsu, I hope you can train her Medical Ninjutsu. As for how much she learns, it depends upon her."
Hearing her words, both Menma and Tenten widened their eyes and a big smile appeared on their faces.
