"Raxon--" My words hung in the air when he didn't say get out of the car. Damn, I really don't know what's going on his mind.
He turned around and turned me on.
"Come out, Amara." So I went out. My cheeks grew hot as he glanced at me from head to toe. He raised an eyebrow as if there was something he didn't like.
"Your dress is too short, too showy. Don't wear like that again." Huh? I looked at myself. I'm wearing a maroon body-hugging dress that is up to half my thigh length. For me, it's not that revealing look. He's just overthinking.
"I thought it's just fine." His jaw clenched.
"For me, it's not." He made a strong promise. I was about to talk again when he suddenly held my hand without any permission. I could not react immediately because my heart was beating so hard.
