"Of course, I'm not dumb, Lord Lucian."
He nodded and walked towards his walk in closet. He was about to enter when he looked back at me.
"What are you still doing there?"
My eyes narrowed. Wait. I was helping Adeline with dressing when I was still assigned to her. Does that mean I should do that to him, too?
Lucian smirked cockily at my expression.
"Help me get dressed. You're here to serve me, remember?"
And gritted my teeth. I was a little nervous but I still answered boldly.
"Of course, Sir. After you."
He nodded, there was still a slight grin. I know he's purposely annoying me. He wants to push all my buttons until I myself give up and give what he wants. But I will not be silenced.
I obeyed. He was putting his underwear on when I went in. I immediately turned my attention to something else and was almost exhausted. Is he the same with other servants? How shameless.
