"Sensible solution? This is…" insane. But I gasped the word when Landon's thumb flicked the crown of my mound. It sent so much shivers down my spine and I could feel the alluvion of sensations coming to rule me.
"But based on your body's reaction, it says otherwise," he said and the next second, I heard a ripping sound and I saw how exposed my upper body was. At a second, I wanted to cover myself out of embarrassment, but when I saw the look in Landon's eyes when it drifted down to my body, I felt like he was silently praising my every corner. That gave me a burning feeling. Not the one associated with thirst, but it was caused by a different hunger, the kind of hunger I don't think I can contain for long.
When Landon's lips touched mine again, I totally forgot all the inhibitions. I forgot about the vengeance I was fighting for. I forgot about Carter. I forgot about everything but Landon's touch and kisses.
Insanity.
