"You are such a beauty, Miss Eve," Lily praised with a genuine smile plastered on her lips.
"So as you," I said simply.
The door flew open and Lily was then a few steps away from me, her head slightly bowed to Landon who was at my back. Our gazes met in the mirror. I can clearly see how utterly good looking he is in his dark blue suit. He had no tie and the first three buttons of his crisp white inner shirt were open, showing the silver chain on his neck. His dark brooding eyes felt like it were piercing through me. It is not painful, though. It just felt a little weird. I just shrugged it off my mind. I should not occupy my mind with unnecessary thoughts. It is not worth the time so better not do it.
"Leave us," Landon ordered with full authority in his voice.
