"Hello," I smiled a bit. I hope I do look a good lady to them and not just a prey to kill. Well, Carter had already made it clear that they consume human's blood, but the way they look at me especially Venus made me think that I somehow appear edible to them. I wonder if they can smell my blood? How does it appeal to them? Do they feel the urge to taste it or something like that?
"Hey, you look anxious." Emery chuckled. "We are harmless, okay. We won't do anything to you." She even held my hand that eased my worries. Emery is such so lovely and sweet that you would follow everything she says in your own volition.
