Whole World
In all parts of the world, deaths occurred massively and exponentially. Especially in the northern hemisphere which had colder seasons and weather.
WHO assessed and responded to this situation quickly as the disease spreading rapidly throughout the world. WHO had officially announced a Mollivirus sibericum pandemic. WHO also published handling and control procedures to be followed by all member countries.
The WHO pandemic alert color level was Black. It meant that this pandemic had a very dangerous category because a cure was not yet available, the spreading was rapid and, most importantly, the virus was airborne. The one good thing about this virus was it only infected through the bloodstream. So, the slightest bleeding wound would open the door for this terrible ancient virus.
WHO held an important meeting simultaneously to look for serum from the toxins released by Mollivirus sibericum.
This ferocious virus had different characteristics from other viruses in general. If other viruses reproduced themselves to damage the tissues and infected the body, the Mollivirus sibericum acted as a toxic agent that damage the blood cells and affected the motoric brain nerves causing the infected persons to have the desire to kill themselves.
Affected countries reported daily data to the WHO authorities. Marc was at the top of the food chain there. Every day he analyzed relevant information with precision.
The next day WHO made a similar announcement with a different type of pandemic. The world was under attack by an anthrax-like bacterium that was different from any of the previously known strains. WHO recommended all countries to prevent its spread by imposing an emergency situation.

It was clear from the look on their faces that it was a big victory. The giant television screen in front of them showed numbers that kept moving up; 75,000,000 fatality rates due to the Mollivirus sibericum virus attack and 90,000,000 fatality rates due to Bacillus antracis infection.
Those figures continued to increase according to updated reports from all countries.
The Chairman was silent. But it was clear that a wide smile appeared on his lips as his eyes continued to stare at the large painting of the Black Death on the wall.
