Cecilia and Akiko looked at the boiled crab on their table. They imagined the kind of struggle faced the fishermen to catch the expensive crabs in front of them.
They were waiting for Andalas. According to his last communication, Andalas landed 1 hour ago and was heading to Fiskur Gallery.
Cecilia took the X-One from her pocket. A message from Cathy.
Hantaa 05's current position is in the Barents Sea. The last recorded coordinates was 75° 22′ 44″ N, 37° 18′ 00″ E.
Cecilia pushed the X-One in front of Akiko who was busy pulling the crab legs. Akiko nodded then went back to the crabs.
The Fiskur Gallery was always busy. There were rarely empty seats. Seafood lovers preferred to spend their holidays enjoying Alaskan crabs or Barents Sea big shrimp in addition to delicious fish that could only be eaten by four people in each serving.
The restaurant door opened. Four masked men entered carrying AK 47. One of them shot his gun up which shocked everyone. There were screams of fear from the restaurant customers.
"Stay where you are! If you move, we will shoot you!" The threat made some people who panicked and were about to run froze. Akiko slowly put her hands into her pockets.
They split up. One man stood guard at the front door, another walked to the kitchen and guarded the back door, while two men started walking around. It was clear they were looking for someone because the customers were told to raise their heads as they approached their tables.
They reached Cecilia and Akiko's table and as soon as they saw their faces, one of them shouted.
"It's them!" One of them aimed the muzzle of his gun to take a shot.
Akiko moved quickly. Her hand, which had been in her jacket pocket, swung. Her kaiken flew at high speed and pierced the throat of the man who was about to shoot.
The burst of gunfire tore the ceiling as the man staggered down while pressing the trigger. His partner surprised and directed his gun to Akiko. The man stood a bit out of reach. All she could do was taking advantage of items nearby. The Yakuza princess quickly grabbed the crab plate in front of her and threw it toward him.
The man groaned, the heavy plate hit him in the face. The man who was guarding the door cocked his gun at Akiko who was standing.
But the door burst opened and knocked him backwards. A man rushed in and immediately landed kicks to the groin and neck. The assailant collapsed.
Andalas grabbed the AK 47 and threw it at Akiko who beat the attacker in front of her with high kick. Andalas immediately ran and slipped behind the kitchen entrance.
Akiko gripped the AK 47 tightly and slipped out of the restaurant. The two of them were about to ambush the last person who entered the kitchen and guarded the back exit.
Cecilia, who had been glued to her seat for the whole time, got up and walked over and felt the wrists of the second and third attackers. They were still alive. But looking at their condition, they would be unconscious for a while.
Andalas who was waiting for the fourth assailant to come out of the kitchen just shrugged as Akiko walked in from the front door and dragged someone grunting with his arms folded behind his backs. Andalas approached.
Cecilia put 200 Euros on the table and spoke to the restaurant manager who came quickly as soon as she called him.
Cecilia came out of the restaurant with Akiko and Andalas followed from behind. The fourth attacker was taken care by Andalas. Akiko had also plucked her kaiken from the first attacker's neck.
The blood gushed from the dead assailant and pooled on the floor. Akiko gave an apologetic gesture to the pale-faced restaurant manager.
They got in their car sped away from the restaurant. Just when several police cars were coming from the opposite direction.
"Uh, where did they come from? Iceland is a peaceful country. Violence is rare here." Akiko complained briefly.
Andalas did not respond from behind. He was handcuffing a prisoner. Neither did Cecilia. Her eyes were focused on the road and from time to time looking at the rearview mirror. She was hoping that the police was not on their tail. Iceland was not a country with many roads. It would be easy for them to be intercepted.
The fourth assailant was a young man, not more than 30 years of age. His eyes looked gloomy. He didn't expect to be captured by a target that seemed easy to deal with. Two women who looked weak, but he was subdued by one of them.
Andalas checked the Consultant's database. The young man's face didn't appear. It meant this young man was a new member or not part of the hitman group. The Consultant's database was quite complete which included individuals and organizations.
Andalas intentionally let Akiko sat on the front passenger seat. He was afraid that Akiko would try to extract information from the young man if she sat in the back. He could imagine what would happen to him if Akiko didn't get the answer she was looking for.
Since being constantly in danger, Akiko started showing more of her Yakuza side rather than her doctor side.
Andalas whispered to the Central Asian-looking young man's ear. He could be Indian, Bangladeshi or Pakistani.
"You know, the woman you're after sitting in front will easily make you talk. She's a Yakuza. You must know how they pry information, right?"
The young man groaned. No wonder she was though. They should have gathered detailed background information first. Who would have thought they were ordered to hunt down and kill a Yakuza.
But his organization only fulfilled orders from the OWC without asking any questions. The four of them were sent on a hunt and they failed miserably.
Watching the silent young man pale face, Andalas knew that he was about to crack. Only one more push the young man would speak.
"I know you're from India. What organization are you part of? And who sent you?"
The young man felt the cold tone of the man next to him creep into the back of his neck. This man was more dangerous than that woman. He was more afraid of this man.
"Alright. I'm from India. I'm a member of the Indian Maoists. Our organization is now under the OWC. The orders to kill those women came from the OWC." Andalas nodded in satisfaction. There was one thing that was still bothering him about the new organization.
"So where exactly is the OWC headquarters?"
The young man looked at Andalas' cold eyes. Uhh, this guy must be more ruthless than he looks.
The young man's answer came as a shock to Andalas, Akiko and Cecilia who was entering a small alley and parked her rental car there.
"Zurich."
