Jiwoo and Jiyoung engaged in a brief conversation in which Jiwoo revealed his identity and explained why he had kept that aspect of himself hidden. However, Jiyoung responded calmly, saying that there was no cause for concern and that he understood the situation, keeping secrets was a beneficial thing to do.
After their talk, the night passed quickly for the young men, but for the others, it was just beginning.

[Union of Awakened Headquarters]
A small building, compared to the towering skyscrapers, was engulfed in flames. Inside, several members of the organization lay on the floor, puzzled about their state of health.
Seongha quickly burst onto the scene, scanning all the bodies. Another member, who had managed to stay awake, approached him in a quick, worried voice. "Mr. Park, Dr. Delein has escaped, along with the Klein brothers."
"Let's keep this quiet for now. Don't tell Wooin," Park Seongha commented in a serious and grave tone.
....
[The next day]
Park Seongha showed up just as Wooin was leaving his house. He accompanied Wooin all the way to school, observing the situation as he watched Wooin feed the stray cats and meet Jisuk, Jiwoo and Subin.
After watching the friendly and cheerful conversation between them for a moment, Park took his leave and warned the union members to protect Wooin, regardless of the pressure he would face by not following the orders of the superiors.
The day passed quickly and Wooin left the school to visit Dr. Delein, while Jiwoo returned home and continued with the second part of his training in the afternoon.
Upon arriving at the union headquarters, Wooin was not allowed to see his teacher. He asked everyone, but no one answered him and everyone avoided him, until Park arrived and explained that he could not see him at that time and that they would inform him when possible.
With no choice, Wooin left with many doubts as to why he was not allowed to see his teacher.

[In the evening]
A man with long turquoise hair and gray eyes was mind-controlling two union members, who were surrounded by several bodies of their companions.
'No way, I can't control my own body,' said one of them, full of despair.
'Kill yourselves,' Loberne ordered, causing the two men to point their weapons at their own heads.
However, before they could end their lives, a mysterious force emerged behind Loberne and attacked the two men, leaving them seemingly dead.
"You don't need to kill them, that's just a waste of time. The union is already chasing us," said Dr. Delein as he emerged from behind Loberne.

[The next day]
After school, Wooin said goodbye to his friends and returned to the union headquarters to see Dr. Delein, but met Seongha Park on his way.
"What's wrong?" asked Seongha.
"I want to see my teacher," Wooin replied.
"You can't, I already told you," Park replied, continuing on his way.
"Tell me the truth, has something happened to him?" asked Wooin with concern.
"What?" said Park.
Wooin looked at Park with seriousness on his face.
"Go away," Park replied, turning away.
"I have a right to know what's going on. No one is giving me answers," Wooin said, clenching his fist.
"He ran away along with the Klein brothers. Are you happy?" replied Park, leaving the scene.
Wooin was startled and muttered in surprise. "The professor ran away and left me?"
Stunned, Wooin walked away and remembered all the moments he had shared with his professor, how he had saved him from the experiments, the happy times they had spent together, and the love and teachings Dr. Delein had given him to become a better person.
The day went by and Jiwoo continued to train intensely, improving more and more every day with Kayden and Ares' teachings.

[The next day]
"It's strange that Wooin didn't go to class and didn't answer his phone," said Jisuk, raising the possibility that he had overslept.
"I don't think so, he should have woken up by now," Jiwoo replied absentmindedly.
"I called him last night, and he didn't answer, and I also saw him acting strange at the union headquarters," Subin added.
"So, since last night, we haven't heard from him?" said Jiwoo, concerned. He then proposed. "Let's go to his house."
Subin and Jisuk exchanged glances, understanding that something bad might be happening.
[At Wooin's house]
In a cluttered and dilapidated room, there was a bed on the floor and a small desk with books on top of it.
Subin and Jisuk were shocked to see the place where Wooin lived.
Suddenly, a voice from behind startled them. "It's not that bad."
They turned around and saw Wooin. Jiwoo exclaimed. "Wooin."
Wooin walked past them and put some things down on the desk.
"How are you, why didn't you go to school?" asked Jiwoo worriedly.
"I'm sorry," replied Wooin.
"Has something bad happened?", asked Jiwoo, getting more and more worried.
Wooin was silent for a moment and then replied, "Dr. Delein is my teacher, and he ran away."
Subin was surprised and said, "Are you his disciple?"
"Who is Dr. Delein?" asked Jisuk naively.
"He is an awakened one who performs illegal experiments," Subin replied.
"Oh," muttered Jisuk, taking in the information. Then he asked. "You know about this, Jiwoo?"
"Yes," Jiwoo replied.
They had a conversation in which Wooin opened up and told them some things. In the end, they decided to look for Dr. Delein together.

[Loberne's place]
"This is bad, even Shinhwa is chasing us," Loberne said with disinterest as he sat in a chair in a relaxed manner.
Delein, arms crossed, did not respond in front of him.
"Well, we have no choice but to use them now," Loberne said with a broad smile.
"Is that why you brought them?" asked Delein, looking at the two unconscious Klein brothers on the ground.
"I wasn't planning to use them so soon, it was easy to control them given their poor condition," Loberne replied.
Delein did not speak and stared at the Klein brothers as he recalled his encounter with Ares.
Ares handed him two pills and said. "You will know when to take them."
Back to the present, Delein looked at Loberne and thought to himself. 'Will this pill help me recover? I should find a time to take it without him noticing and pray that I get back to my best state'.
