**Chapter 2 - Silver Knight, A Special Person?**
On the way, Medana rode a robot dog, but when she returned, she had to carry it. A hydraulic suspension system in suit's leg is broken, so it couldn't walk.
All the policemen were speechless because the hero returned with the lost. The Silver Knight waved at Police Officer Linda, who was staring at her.
"I'm sorry, I lost."
Linda replied with a face of forced control of surprise. Her face was longing.
"I know you've been beaten ever since the villain went up in the air, sir."
Linda's assistants, Cloud and Kevin, were surprised too. "Impossible, isn't Silver Knight the strongest hero aside from the Hero Association leader?" The same goes for other police officers.
Sheriff Sladin looked up at the sky and remained silent. He looked very depressed. Any sheriff in a city that's been beaten by two high-profile villains in the space of a few weeks would be thinking the same thing. In other words, the NYPD is the police force with the most challenges in the world. Their budget is about the same as the military budget of a small country.
But when faced with real villains, nothing was of any use.
When Medana returned home, she first saw Auntie Oliva and Amy in the yard. There was also a doctor who is the owner's daughter, who is drunk 24 hours a day.
Aunty held the lid of the garbbage bin in her hand and threw it in the air. Amy ran after the cover like a dog. Then she brought it back and put it in Aunt Olive's hand. Then she barked like a dog.
"Whoa...Whoa..."
Medana looked down at the dog robot, which was already a large metal box like the Silver Knight suit, and said:
"I'm just wondering if there is a need for my programs. Don't be silly, Amy."
Medana kicked the black and green dog gently, but it wasn't too heavy, she is afraid of her leg hurt. On the other hand, Amy, who looked like a dog, noticed her and ran toward the entrance of the yard. Then she jumped on Medana and began to lick her.
Medana also fell on the platform because of Amy's enthusiasm. Some passers-by noticed them.
A little while later, a boy who was about to enter puberty came and took four or five photos with a Nokia brand professional camera in his hand.
Then a woman, who appeared to be the mother, covered the boy's eyes with her hand and forcibly took him back.
"Come on, don't walk all over town and take pictures. You have to do your homework."
"Oh... I can't... I can't... I have to take five hundred pictures today."
On the street, Medana, who was already lying on her back, cursed the situation and pressed Amy's emergency power button. Amy powered down and fell on her.
Aunt Oliver came to them. "Medana, It's not a problem to install software and play it at home, but don't go out and play with your robot maid. Others will think it's something."
Oliver had something to say. The white-haired girl and the brown-skinned domestic robot with the mind of a dog had been play-fighting on the street for five minutes. All eyes were on them now. Medana's face turned red, and she pulled Amy from the platform and dragged the two boxes in one hand and entered the courtyard. After that, she closed the courtyard door and sat down on the ground. She was too tired and take away the sweat on her reddened face with shame and laughter.
....
It was in a small container house. Medana's room was three or four times bigger than other container houses. The reason was that she brought a large container from the port owned by Aizawa and asked permission from the landlord to expand it. The reason was because there were more things to keep for work. Medana kept many other things secret, but not about working on Metal Paladin. Being a developer there and needing more space to work was a good reason.
The owner also allowed it. In addition to the large size of his farm, Medana also brought her own container and just attached it to the previous room. She didn't need anything to invest in.
Medana's neighbors were very nice. They didn't ask anything about Medana and didn't seem to know or want to know. Sometimes they were even more secretive than Medana herself.
At least they didn't know she was the Silver Knight yet, Medana thought. Even if they knew, they seemed to keep their mouths shut.
Medana was currently in the second room attached to the original room. This room was completely workshop and soundproof.
Medana sat commandingly like a queen on a plastic chair, while Amy in a maid's outfit sat slumped on the floor like a guilty sinner.
"Amy, do you know what you've done now? You hacked Seberstein and then threw him into your body. Not only did you not help in the battle, but you also caused problems at home. Your body has become a dog's mind and is doing things like that. Aren't you ashamed?"
Although Amy is indeed an advanced artificial intelligence, it is not specifically programmed to be used in battle like Seberstein. Seberstein has a war wolf program based on the fighting techniques of various breeds of wolves and dogs. This is the same as Medana's fighting program, which combines multiple martial arts. Amy also has a few programs that fight with the human body, similar to Medana.
If it were the real Seberstein, even if he couldn't defeat Archmega, there is no way he couldn't defeat Elohim. Unless Elohim had no other trump card.
Medana was outraged and looked at the number one hashtag (#) on Twitter. Even the matter of a Silver Knight losing to an Archmega this morning was only number five. Number one was that #littlewhitewitch is dominant, the picture of Amy jumping on her had gone viral due to a random stalker boy.
Of course, there is no people who didn't know the White Witch anymore, in this city. Now the whole world was talking about comparing her to famous actress Jenny Joseph, who took only one picture for Columbia Pictures and never modeled again. She also volunteered to model for two fashion stores and never appeared again.
But there were many pictures taken by the paparazzi. Medana almost cursed the kid holding the camera when she saw her picture with Amy.
The person who started these pictures is the account called 'Villain, who will share the scenes with everyone.' That account even has twice as many followers as the Silver Knight account. Just for today, it posted about three hundred pictures, and usually, the pictures of beautiful women. In other words, it must be said that the great paparazzi is unethical. There's even just an album for Medana.
While looking at those pictures, Medana embarrassedly pulled Amy's ear, but it didn't hurt her because she is a robot. After trying other methods of punishment, none of them seemed to work, so she let them go. Amy seem to enjoy when she tried to gets her hurt, so if she punish her, Amy will become more odds.
"I will release you today, huh." Saying that, Medana had to prepare to go out again.
Because it's not a school holiday, Medana patrols the city almost three times a day. At noon today, she decided to go in with the frog and Lisa. Although the Government Hero School is still being repaired, the school is now open again. Medana has been training the juniors since the end-of-year class exams and multi-hero school competitions are almost here.
Anyway, the dead principal told her to take care of them. Not because of a promise, but because she decided to do as much as she could with her conscience. It's not that big of a responsibility.
...
In the highest-level room of a five-star hotel.
It was an old-fashioned room, and in the corner of the room was an old-fashioned record player. A British classic was playing from the record player.
At the front of the room, there was a large window surrounded by transparent glass from the floor to the ceiling, and the beauty of the sunset could be seen like a painting.
The girl, who was only twelve years old, with long blonde hair and blue eyes, held the green crystal between her thumb and forefinger, carefully holding it like a diamond.
"Maybe green, mind energy, or wood energy type. In terms of brightness, I think it's probably C level."
As the little girl spoke, she put the meteor crystal into a royally beautiful golden box. In that small box, a variety of meteorite crystals were placed.
"Stanford, where did this piece of meteorite come from?"
A video call was opened on the laptop placed in front of the girl, and the steward was talking live with the TV head.
"According to our records, it came from the giant meteorite Hugo 00425A. It was brightly colored when it hit Earth, and as far as we could check with satellite images, it had 27 different color types are the largest and most energetic of all meteorites that have fallen."
The little girl went into the study room with her hand on her shoulder. The TV head steward continued to explain.
"Hugo00425A, Hugo00425B, Hugo00425C, and Hugo00425D are the main meteorites that hit Earth. No one knows where they came from or why they hit the planet. They entered Earth's orbit like ghosts."
The little girl Fralita nodded. In fact, she had already heard this case hundreds of times.
The Pendragon family had been chasing meteorites for the past fifty years. However, their business is not to use these meteorites to gain power, but to investigate the origin. Fralita, the last generation of Pendragons, also inherited that responsibility from childhood.
"These meteorites didn't fall on Earth for no reason. Did someone invent them so that humans could follow their powers and destroy everything? Or were they created by a god as a joke?"
The child sighed tiredly as she leaned back against the seat. Then she closed the lid of the meteorite box. It was not the first time that she was always careful that she had been killed several times by those meteorites.
'Heel...Heel...Heel...' There was a knock on the door from outside the room.
"Who..." the little girl asked.
"I..." came Elohim's reply.
"Come in..." Upon hearing the little girl's words, Elohim opened the door and entered. Elohim's rhythmic footsteps came from the room.
Suddenly, Elohim closed his eyes and curled up. He sounded like he was enjoying the music...
"Flow, My Tears by John Dowland? Mistress is listening to a sad song at sunset."
"I never thought uncle would know about classical music." The little girl nodded that the song that was playing was correct. She continued.
"My father used to play this song every time he played it. When I was young, I didn't enjoy classical music that much. But this song reminds me of sadness in every chord."
Elohim was speechless for a moment, then breathed in the air and spoke in disbelief.
"But in my eyes, Mistress is still very young." To call this 12-year-old girl big would be to say that Elohim is walking on the other side of the grave.
"Did you come here just to listen to music?" The child looked at the image of Elohim reflected in the mirror and asked. Elohim cleared his throat...
"Although I don't know if I should ask or not, I would like to ask why Mistress is collecting crystals and why you are treating that hero more than others."
"The question is two." The girl asked back. Elohim nodded. After debating whether or not to answer, the girl rose from her chair and faced Elohim.
"The first question is that you should know because you joined us. It is our Pendragon family's duty to find the origin of the meteors. Why did they come here, whether their purpose is good or bad, whether they are dangerous to us humans or not." Elohim nodded at the words of the little girl.
"Today, we humans have easy access to power, but we don't even think about the pros and cons of that power. Everyone has power in their hands, and the problems are increasing. The worst thing is that they have become bipolar, thinking that I am different from ordinary people and that I am a god. If these are the weapons of some external force, then we are all on the road to destruction." Elohim understood what the little girl meant. Such a question is important for the entire human race, so it is worth opposing even if it has to be against the whole world.
The little girl continued to answer the next question. "As for the second question, I think Silver Knight is different from other heroes. That's why he deserves such attention."
Elohim seemed very surprised by the little girl's words and continued to speak.
"Mistress has said before that she doesn't trust any hero."
The girl nodded without refusing.
"Yeah, I don't trust any hero because of an incident that happened before." The little girl replied as she grabbed a lamp-shaped locket from a silver chain that no longer contained any stones from her neck. Her eyes were blurry and she seemed to remember something from the past.
