The four finally reached Ladrio, they headed straight for the shopkeeper's storefront. Throughout Ladrio, word was slowly spreading about Casimar all from the exaggerated tales of the Tilton guards and moving travelers from Tilton to Ladrio. Casimar was gathering more and more attention. Attention he craved and attention he would need. Casimar's name had to spread. On the walk to the shopkeeper's front, Casimar whispered words to people he passed on the street. Dathma didn't react to it, but Rilia made fun of him for it.
"The Jester a famed one now?" Rilia said. She continued: "I thought you of all people would want a low profile."
"I did want a low profile back when I was right to Spalio. But this city is the beginning point of a revolution. They hate the King, which means they'll love me." Casimar rebukes.
"You're unskilled in every way, even in joking matters. Joking was your profession!" Rilia adds.
"Unkind Rilia, a man can learn and learn I shall. You still need me." Casimar rebukes once again.
"Yes yes I know. I just wanted to tease you. You're getting overly excited after only one fight. Against a senseless creature nonetheless."
Dathma looks at her as she says "senseless."
"Sorry." Rilia says.
"Are those things native to Spalis?" Casimar asks Dathma. Both Rilia and Casimar being Cityfolk, They've a limited idea in the wild things of the world.
Dathma doesn't answer. The group finally arrives at the shopkeeper's store. Rilia
knocks as the group enters. The shopkeeper gleefully acknowledges them. He tells them how grateful he is for their work and that he hears Casimar did the deed swiftly and successfully. Casimar pulls out the broken dagger. He hands it over to the shopkeeper.
"All you've left from the job?" The Shopkeeper asks. Casimar then places the fur of the creature in the counter. Rilia states that the job is done. The shopkeeper nods in agreement and goes behind his counter to grab a sword. The shopkeeper hands the sword over to Rilia. Rilia examines it herself. She takes one swing at the air around her and then another. The winds fly through the shop as she swings over and over. She hands the sword over to Casimar.
"You earned it Casimar, now it's time to get to work."
"I know Rilia, i'm ready."
Casimar finds himself a sheath. The shopkeeper allows him to have it for free as "extra" thanks. Casimar dons the sheath, he then takes swings with the sword, they are powerful but nowhere close to Rilia's swings. He sheaths his sword. The group says their goodbyes to the shopkeeper and exit his store. Rilia and the shopkeeper wave goodbye to each other for a second as the group finally leaves.
"It's time we met your boss Rilia." Casimar says.
"It's time I returned." Rilia states.
