Uprising: The fall of a nation

In the dystopian society of Jamaica, the island faces a massive political war. The instability of Jamaica's political system leads to riots, gang violence, and the rise of a narcissistic dictator. Citizens walk on ice, hoping that the day does not come when it breaks. Jemima Wilson is no different, as the young nineteen-year-old girl pushes through the warlike state of her country; she gets caught in a deadly situation. The very situation that Jamaicans fear...an explosion. When a strange persona hiding behind a mask comes to her rescue from her deadly fate, Jemima is pulled into a whole new world of gangs and secret anti-government organizations. She finds herself on the border of right and wrong. Things take a turn for the worst when she discovers she has a connection with an ex-musician, who supposedly went missing.
