"How does it taste? Is it to your liking?" Shi Qian asked again.
"It tastes good." Arthur lowered his head and continued eating the noodles.
Shi Qian also brought out a bowl. There were no eggs or carrots in her noodles. It was just a bowl of plain noodles.
"We'll have something small like this in the morning. I'll prepare other dishes later."
Arthur finished his noodles and looked at Shi Qian.
Shi Qian looked up and met his gaze. She could sense from Arthur's gaze that he was struggling, but that hesitation lasted only a second before it quickly disappeared.
Arthur got up and left.
Shi Qian's heart sank.
She did not know how to escape this predicament.
Arthur came to the backyard, and a figure immediately walked out of the house.
