Chapter 1 - Chapter 001

The squeaky noises from the bed, amorous moans echoed harmoniously as the man relentlessly pounded down a lady that he called for the night.

The room was so luxurious and decorated with beautiful ornaments and paintings.

King-size bed was in the middle of the room with red transparent valance. The shadowy figures of man and woman vigorously do their intercourse. Her bottom was clapped by him. Even harder in every thrust he gave to her.

"Master Silas! Please... I'm at my limit!" pleaded the lady in red dress with hoarse voices.

But the latter wasn't paid any of her pleadings, he pounded hers even harder for a few minutes till she was about to be knocked out.

Out of his mercy, he pulled out his mighty sword and burst all of his fluidly seeds onto her belly.

She was not worthy of his seed, not even a kiss. She just used him as a meat hole to relieve his stressful day.

As an act of kindness, he cleaned all the fluids on her belly with a handkerchief. And wiped the tears on her cheek with his finger. Although his lust was always on the peak, he was still a rightful gentleman. And she was a lady after all.

With just a swipe of finger on her eyelids. He enchanted with his magic to make her sleep with ease, and covered her with a blanket. Then he placed a small sack of old coins on the table.

Thus, he went to the bathroom to wash himself after hours of intercourse with her.

His eternal young appearance never change even a bit for decades. Handsome face and silvery hair made him easy to make a pack with any woman out there.

But, there is no woman who could take his heart and his love entirely. He sighed heavily as warm water rained his hair and body.

'Still nothing… Again, it was useless. No matter how many times I did it.' murmured Silas in front of the mirror wall. He rubbed the scars that were caused by a humongous sword that almost cleaved him in half. A souvenir from the past life when he was once a soldier.

Then a stream of memories of a mysterious woman who saved him a decade ago when he was still a young boy ran down as he washed all the remaining bubbles.

After a dozen minutes he finished, he put on his usual skin tight black armor suit and black long coat for the outer layer.

He tightened his high boot laces and he was ready for another occasion that was already awaited for him.

Silas walked down to the kitchen and grabbed some snacks for him from the pantry.

"Always snacking is not good for your health, Master Carnielle," said Michael. a Butler who is always on his side.

He was in the middle of cooking a meal for Silas dinner.

"Oh shut up! You canned head, I do what I want," replied Silas as he chomped a mouthful of bread.

He walked past the Butler which was almost half a century old with a sulked expression.

The Butler only shook his head, he still remembered the time when his master was still a cute young boy. But since his parents passed away during The Crusades. He became completely different.

Silas walked down to the front door.

Before Silas left the Mansion of Carnielle Family, he stopped by the doorway and half shouted to Michael, "I'm going to the Harvest Festival, just make sure she is not here when I come back!"

"Understood, Master," Michael bowed, then closed the door when his Master was already off to the courtyard.

Fwiitt!!

Silas whistled for a second.

Soon, the sound of galloped hooves  approached him. It was Guldr, his loyal black horse that accompanied him wherever he went.

****

The night was still young, but the crimson moon already shone brightly in the sky.

He stopped his horse and reined Guldr on a pole.

Silas climbed the tallest building in the city center to watch the annual event which was held on the Full Blood Moon night.

Silas used other objects as stepping stones to reach the rooftop. With his strength as Lycan it was very easy for him, even without transforming into his Lycan form. He then sat on the ridge of the rooftop while basking himself in bright crimson moon lights.

He took out his pocket watch to see what time it was.

'Five minute, What kind of 'prey' would I get tonight?' murmured himself as he felt the Mana from the moonlight flowing into his veins.

Not so long after that the bells on the clock tower rang aloud. It was 9 o'clock, and the city was like just woke up from it's slumber.

Full Blood Moon was a festival for Demi-human and all humans to celebrate their peace together.

Lycans, Vampires, Demons… You named it.

They come together to the street to celebrate, eat, get drunk and have 'fun'. Various food stalls and street performers sang and danced to the music. Kids and adults gathered, the traveling bard sang their stories and legends that they've acquired on their journeys.

Silas then stood still and watched the vicinity. He turned his head into the north of the Thames River where all the haughty vampires and demons were settled.

Then he glanced to the south of the river where the majority of Lycan clans was.

From the West, a bright cityscape shone majestically. People of Commonwealth and nobles resided there with protection from the humongous walls that compounded them.

It was so tranquil… As the Lone Alpha and Master of Carnielle Family with mixed blood both Vampire and Lycan on his veins. It was his duty to oversee the festival and make sure no one messed around with the peace that was brought with great sacrifices.

But it wasn't for long.

Silas sniffed the stench of Frails. The undeads which occasionally appear from other worlds.

Full Blood Moons gave Earth a huge amount of Mana and it wasn't strange that undead or monsters were interested and entered the city from the forest or emerged from catacombs.

He could feel their presence from afar. A dozen Frails were in pursuit of something or perhaps a certain someone.

Somehow, the person that was pursued by the Frails led them to Silas's territory. Of course, that was a direct mockery for Silas. Soon, he also sniffed a faint smell of vampire blood, and it was not an ordinary one.

He grinned, it had been quite awhile since the last time he fought a vampire.

Silas quickly jumped down to the nearest building and onto another building with his extraordinary agility. Within five minutes, he catches up with those Frails who's already cornered a fairly young girl in the corner of street.

"Is she my 'prey' for tonight?" murmured Silas.

Even Silas whose High Born Lycan could smell the sweet scent of her from afar. Not to mention those Frails which was already lost their minds when they sniffed a sweet scent of blood.

They were just like wild animals and the young girl was their prey.

But, he was also curious, a vampire with a sweet and tangy scent was almost certainly a Noble of their kin. What's made her degrade into her hideous state?

She ran amok frantically with bare feet, blood and scar was all over her body, almost half naked with just a layer of ragged clothes. And also her hand which was cuffed by silver steel.

At that moment Silas changed his mind, and waited for things to elaborate more.

***

"Go away! You wretched things!" shrieked her as she grabbed a trash bin and threw it to the Frails that crawls towards her.

But it was useless, her strength was completely sealed off by the cuffs. Her wrist was sizzling and almost burned into crisp by those high purity silver cuffs when she tried to muster her vampiric power.

One of the Frails growled to the top of its lungs and made her down to her knees. She was weakened, she was just a mere little girl in front of them.

Its big jaws clapped in front of her, she tried to retaliate and ran away but her ankle grabbed by one of the Frails and stumbled forward then fell head first.

She could feel her head spinning, her vision getting even blurred as her wrist bleeds out. The silver cuffs drained both her blood and life force.

They drew closer and closer, she couldn't move even an inch. And she closed her eyes in desperation.

One of the Frails smirked and tried to get a hand to her. But, before that happened. Someone was hailed above them and crashed on of the Frails into oblivion.

BRAK!!!!!!!

A man suddenly appeared before her eyes. Crushed the Frails's head into a minced lump of meat. The other Frails were cowering when they felt the menaces of his aura.

"Are you okay, young lady?" asked Silas as he smiled bright.

Before she could answer her savior, a male figure in black emerged from the shadow. And pounced to Silas with a hand already brandished with a sharp dagger.

Silas jumped back and unsheathed his twin silver dagger from the scabbards.

He took a defensive stance since the girl was behind him and still shocked to her core.

"Who the fuck are you!" shouted Silas, but the man in black was muted.

He attacked Silas once more and also tried to reach the vampire girl by any means necessary.

Whoever he was or whoever sent him, must be obsessed enough to get their hand on her. Silas was pretty obvious, the mysterious man was a newborn vampire judging by how the man's movement and his stench.

But, he was not even a contest for Silas, The Lone Alpha that governed his own territory for decades. Even the Elders stays silent and let him do whatever he wanted.

Silas parried each strike with ease and kicked his head into the wall just by raw strength of his. But, the man in black was quite tough. He stood up once more and launched an ultimate attack on Silas.

The man in black channeled a fire magic to his dagger and dashed in a flash speed.

Faint glow of hot steel flashed in the air and aimed right into Silas throat. But, his effort was futile. Silas could easily dodge it to the side and slashed his hand with a single simple stroke.

Then he choked the latter and pinned him down to the ground.

"I ask you nicely, this time…. Who the FUCK are you! Who is your master!" shouted Silas.

He couldn't hold his anger anymore. His dignity was already tainted by a stray Frails running around in his territory freely. And yet, a newborn vampire dares to attack him in fully open space.

The man in black was . He can't even muster a word nor pain from his mouth.

Silas looked deep into his eyes. He used his ability to scry memories and explore the latter's mind. But it was nothing. That man was just a mere puppet that was controlled by someone far away.

Thus, without any more fuss. Silas stabbed his dagger and the man in black quickly turned into ash.

Silas clapped his hand to get rid of the remaining dust and turned to the vampire girl who almost fainted.

Although she witnessed all the carnage, that girl remained calm, she knew it was already safe.

Her vision was blurred when Silas squatted in front of her and lifted her face to take a good look of her face.

Bruised face, swollen cheek and bloody clothes. Silas didn't need to ask what happened to her.

But law is law. Any Vampire or Lycan can't cross the border without legal permission and must be acknowledged by the ruler of the territory.

"State your name, and I might save you for just tonight," said Silas.

The girl's voice was so faint and almost inaudible. Silas lowered his ear to her mouth, listened to her carefully.

"My name is Sylvia Cromwell… Please, save me."

That was all the strength she had left. But for Silas, that name rang like fairy music in his ears.

Without a second thought, he picked her up and embraced her body. Back to his mansion to treat her.
