Chapter 69 - An Havoc

Few drives away from Stacey's apartment, they landed right at Britney's.

Stacey should be the happiest person now. Right now, by now, she could finally breath again. Under a cool Atmosphere.

It was terrifying at first. Almost taking her lungs alongside with the last breath in her.

While they were in the car, all three of them (Winston, Britney and Stacey), Winston couldn't stop staring through the rearview mirror.

Stacey knew it was her he was staring at. She felt uncomfortable living under the same Atmosphere with such a cute and handsome, God is a great creator, guy.

Damn, she would swear this is her first time of crushing on a guy.

Crush wasn't her thing, but based on the several heart breaks she had gotten from countless guys, made her held her limit of falling in love again.

Talking about love, who cares?

This was part of Stacey before, yeah the old Stacey but now knowing that Winston is one of the players in college, she don't want to get involved or become a victim.

He kept staring and she never liked it. Though, it was amusing like something is rushing down her spine.

Hell no Stacey, did he tickled you?

Winston might be a good driver, as he is always good with speed. In just one stomp of gas pedal, they reached Britney's place.

Though, it doesn't belong to Britney only, but her quins.

"I'll get them ready. Wait for me in my room." Britney told Stacey before running up the stairs to get her textbooks.

Stacey replied with a nod and a forced smile. Winston was still standing behind, pretending to be busy with his phone.

Oh please young man, don't even give on that attitude. Stacey rolled her eyes invisibly. She's beyond that.

Winston as a guy who has no shame but pride, had to put off the garment of ego and aim for what he wants.

Knowing that Britney was no where to be seen in ten minutes, *Damn, What is she still doing up there? is it a tug of war before getting textbooks*

Yeah, Stacey cursed underneath her breath. She can't live under this same roof with her bestie's brother, especially when he is a flirter.

Winston had to humbled himself by approaching her first. He could feel her nervousness from his side.

Stacey kept waggling her fists behind her like she was gonna punch someone.

I swear, one will think she was.

Face up neutral, jaw clenched codedly. She's fucking serious with the looks.

If anyone should be Winston by now, he'd better back off instantly, ASAP!

Who would have taught the stupid guy do like to shoot his shot?

Of course he embarked on the journey. He'd think that Stacey is one of the cheap brat he had flirt with?

A palm towards her demanding for an handshake in a friendly manner, "I guess we'd meet again, princess."

A faint shiver trail down Stacey like she got struck by the sound of a thunderstorm.

His voice was delight. What a sweet deep voice he got there. If it was to be an examination, and She'd be the teacher, she bet had rate him with distinction.

It's not the first time she heard him speak but why didn't she notice this the very first time?

He was perfect in all his ways. *Wonderfully made.*

From his facial features to his muscled body and biceps, he's the best.

All Stacey's exes are skinny and she'd be lucky this time.

This one is too sweet to count on. *Fucking rich, intelligent bastard, Cool basketball player.* Everything is possible with this guy being involved.

Stacey still in contemplation if she should take his friendly handshake or not. But she crave to.

What if along the line, Britney decides to show up?

Boom! There's gonna be a bomb explosion in the ocean. *Just saying.*

His hand has waited too long on the air. Winston hoped she's not a fan of handshake.

Wait, who isn't? it's everyone's thing, right?

Winston awkwardly retrieved his hand and tucked it back into his pockets.

He exhale and tried to put on a friendly smile. Still staring at her who is not looking directly at him.

Stacey is trying to avoid his gaze and here he is, Trying to find that look of hers.

"You um..." Winston tried to figure out the best word to use. Guess he has forgotten the best way to speak.

But how? Winston? Like the Winston everyone knows, will not feel silly before a woman. Now he is feeling like he hasn't approached a girl before. He is feeling like a nerd. Why is he nervous? Is he scared to talk to her?

*Oh fuck that shit and go for what you want idiot!* I bet his instinct just told him that.

Gathering all confidence, Winston kick off the urge of staying inches away from her and moved even more closer than a toothpaste' spread on a brush.

This time, Stacey eyes widened. She never had the urge to lift up her head, talk much of staring into his light brown eyes.

He is so close. Very close she could hear his heart beat and hot air upon her shoulder.

He is right beside her, and she doesn't have the nerve to face him.

Who does he think he is anyway? A god or somewhat president of America?

*Too late, Stacey. You're doomed!* Her instinct whispered.

"I bet you're not mute? Or are you?" Winston smirked.

Stacey never uttered a single word. She's shy now. But fighting hard to hold back her cute smile from his seductive voice.

Player boy, go away. Shoo, shoo!

Now Winston is thinking of what to do next to make sure he has her. Not for anyone but for himself only.

He tried to cook up a quick thought. His eyes flicked on her phone which was at her back pocket.

So sorry Stacey, but a guy gat to do what a guy gat to do.

He sneakily slip the phone right under her nose. *Back pocket.*

Now this is the only think that made Stacey react and turn to face him, "Give me back my phone!" Her voice almost causing an havoc.

"Shhh, Brit might hear you." He whispered with one finger against his lips.

"So?" Stacey asked, dramatically.

She's damn fucking serious with this guy. He better knows he limits, or else, heaven will tell the rest of the story.
