"Brother!" Ryan rushed down the stairs to give his cousin brother, Justin Snyder, a hug. "It's been decades, man."
Justin laughed. How can he say decades when it's roughly few months since they last saw. Ryan Flynn and Justin Snyder are of same age. Except Ryan who is few weeks older than him.
"Come in, please sit." Ryan ushered him towards the soft dark leather sofa.
It's been a while since Justin came for visit. And right now as speaking, his eyes can't stop hovering all over the entire place in the living room.
It made him feel like he's new here.
Well maybe not really. Ryan is a wake and see man. He changes his furniture every year. So Justin instinct should be positively telling him the truth within him.
Justin had been in town since a week now. He'd had come over severally, but when he overheard that his cousin and Sebastian his friend were not in town, he felt a bit hit on the dashboard, so he decided to stay back in one of his hotels till they return.
"How is aunt?" Ryan asked while offering him a martini glass of transparent wine, whom one might think it's just water. "It's been more than a while since I last saw her."
"You know one thing, Ry?" Justin took a sip before adding to his comment, "You should come over to Amsterdam. Maybe for a month."
A month?!
Ryan couldn't help but explode himself in deep laughter. If only he could, but his beloved and betrothed wife, Anastasia. Won't give him one week off for long.
Taking about staying too long. She couldn't sustain herself for the number of days she had missed her husband.
Now that he is back, you know the story, right?
"Bro, things are countless here to take care of." Ryan sighed. Pretended not to tell the actual truth.
Trust Justin. Of course he understood.
Justin just nodded his head with a cute smile curved around his lips. "Mom is fine." He finally responded in accord.
"I missed my baby girls." Ryan said.
Oh now he just remembered his cousin had kids. Silly guy.
"Ava and Aria are doing great. They'd be coming to L.A to see everyone during holidays."
Ryan almost choked on his wine. Holidays? Did he just said holidays?
Oh no!
There's no one who's not used to those two candies troubles.
One needs to tolerate the kids over here and– well speaking of kids, Ryan's sixteen years old daughter Kaiser is like a million kids in one.
And there's another incoming kids on the way in the future whom will invade L.A during holidays?
Men, this isn't fair.
If only he could say no to his cousin but it's not gonna sound right. Perhaps, Justin won't be here to clear the trash those two adults kids will add to the ones here.
Okay, whatever. Family are always gonna remain family and family forever, until death do them part. Hashtag- They are highly welcome and fully invited over. Whatever.
Justin looked around. His brows furrowed up a bit, like he missed out in something or something isn't present. "Where is Ana and Kaiser?"
"Yeah, they-"
"I know fully well that my son is in college right now." Justin quickly added before Ryan landed his statements completely.
Where he mentioned 'Son' he is actually talking bout the twenty year old handsome dude, Billy Flynn, Ryan's son and eldest child.
"Ana and Kaiser went out for shopping today." Ryan said, relaxing his back on the soft dark leather sofa with an arm placed on the top and the other still holding the martini glass of wine firmly.
Women with shopping, you know the story. That's how most of them are. *Don't mind anyway, just saying.*
"So what brings you down to L.A?" Ryan asked. He knows very well that his cousin brother will barely and hardly step foot in other countries. Except he has business to do.
Or maybe when there is a family function or so.
Justin swirl the wine in the Martini glass. Along with a slight smirk on his lips.
He knew his brother is just trying to pull his legs. After all, Ryan knew about his reasons for coming to L.A, but still wanna know further.
Like a student acting to be brilliant when he's not.
After a while of silence, Justin finally answered, "Business." He sipped his wine.
"Oh..." Ryan slowly shook his head like a novice and neutral personnel.
Amsterdam, Netherlands. Has always been Justin's home. Though he had lots of branches of companies in different countries which his father had kept behind for him to take over, But yet he barely visits them.
Instead, Justin as a man of valor and a fit man of his words, will just communicate to see how everything were over there.
But for now, he came like a thief in the night.
He didn't just come for business only, but for other purposes too. i.e, to checkout on his companies branches and another construction he is building here also, which will be rounding off in few days.
If he can't make it to the others yet, but not L.A It has one of his biggest finance invested in it.
