Rose's POV
The raven was sent but it would take a little while before it would reach Xenia. In the meantime, I monitored Eva through Aria. I noticed something made me uneasy about something I might have missed when I was not seeing through Aria's eye.
Eva was pacing and nipping at her fingernails in troubled contemplation. She was murmuring a lot to herself as if trying to make sense of something that puzzled her deeply.
Each time, Aria would chirp and she would not answer her, which was strange. Then she would sit down, pick out and look through the book that I had seen her multiple times hiding under other books. What was so special about the book?
She murmured again but this time I heard her and it made me pause.
"Where is he keeping her?"
Who was 'she'? Could she have found out about her old family going missing?
"Rosé, where is he keeping you?" She asked again.
