Rosé's POV
The bedroom doors swung open, and Igdaliah stepped inside, but he wasn't alone. The dark-haired man, whose name I couldn't quite remember, entered with him.
"Hello," I said, though my voice sounded more distant than I would have liked, making me feel vulnerable.
His blue eyes flicked in my direction, as cold and uninterested as I remembered. The last time he had been here, he had left with Lout. After that, Igdaliah had informed me that there would be a melee. I hadn't asked what became of him, but I had an idea.
"Rosé," he acknowledged, surprising me. He was a man of very few words.
He turned back to Igdaliah, and I watched as they spoke in hushed tones. I was curious, but it was obvious they didn't want me knowing the topic of their discussion.
Igdaliah's voice broke the silence in the room, drawing my attention away from their secretive conversation.
