Rosa's POV
"I think this is enough."
Mona went silent. With a sneer, she turned her head to the speaker and said, "I wasn't talking to you, little snot."
"Mona, you claim how Sal harmed you, yet you do not explain the full picture. How can we fulfill your demands when we do not know what happened?"
"Hey pipsqueak, I was only talking to the culprit!"
"And I am talking to you Mona," Rosa spoke sternly, her piercing, crimson eyes stared down Mona, "So answer the question, little capuchin."
"Oh hey little froggy, look at you getting ballsy! Well guess what? I'm not gonna answer a single thing! Besides, SAL knows what he did wrong," Mona exclaimed, emphasizing Sal's name as she stared right back at Rosa with a pissed-off smile.
"Then, you leave me with no choice."
"...Huh?"
"I tried to leave you with some dignity, but with your attitude, it is time for some discipline."
"Is that so?" Mona cried out, her eyes twitched.
"Well, where should I start! Ah, I know," Rosa said, her eyes glinted dangerously, "Firstly, it seems you know about Sal's 'matters'."
"Pooping," Mona said bluntly.
Sal turned whiter. At that rate, he was going transparent.
"Yes, pooping," Rosa corrected her words, "Yet sloths are designed to poop near the forest floor. But a capuchin like you has very little reason to be at the forest floor since there's no branches to swing down there."
"Either you," Rosa glanced towards Mona, "were near the forest floor, that could also mean Sal decided to poop higher up in the trees than climbing down, but this does not connect the two of you together. That is why secondly…"
"I would like your line about your reputation or something along the lines-"
"I said," Mona abruptly interrupted, switching her matter-of-fact tone to a passionate tone to reenact the scene, "Ahem! 'For destroying my dignity, my reputation, my fur, my life!'"
"...Yes. But picking apart those words, it seems like Sal did something to destroy your dignity, meaning something that degrades you. And reputation, meaning he did it in front of not only you but others as well. And then your fur…I assume that ties in with dignity and reputation. As for life, that part seems to be an exaggeration."
"It's not an exaggeration!" Mona yelled in annoyance.
"Poop, fur, reputation…" Rosa murmured. Her eyes flashed in realization.
-No way.-
Mona glanced towards Rosa, a shiver shot up her spine, causing her fur to stand on ends, tingling every pore on her body. Mona's eyes widen in alarm.
"Wait, you can't be serious!" Mona shouted, her lip quivering.
"Mona, did-"
"Wait!"
"Did Sal poop on you?"
"CAW CAW, YOU GUYS HAVE TO BELIEVE ME! See, they're right here! I told you-" A high pitched voice suddenly exclaimed out, a small audience of birds right behind the speaker.
Once every single word came out of Rosa's mouth, an oppressing force pressured everyone's chest, causing everyone to stop talking, stop moving, like ice sculptures.
A layer of silence suffocated everyone.
