Chapter 24 - -22- (7)

I also quickly finished eating, then immediately was in the backyard. Sitting here and looking at the stars. I'm sure, Arni is a woman who has a pretty sharp brain. She must have had a lot of reasons to come here. So, I'll wait.

And, I looked at the watch that was wrapped around my wrist. It's been an hour, Arni doesn't understand my sign. Or did she have no way of getting here. Or, she doesn't want to be here? Honestly, I'm disappointed.

"Why are you here at night? Have a promise with genderuwo?" asked dad. I think it's Arni.

I shifted my seat because my father was sitting too, then I breathed heavily. Insolent, presumptuous woman who doesn't know herself toying with me.

"Thank goodness ghost, father. No one wants crickets with me," I answered. Dad patted my shoulder.

"Your fate, Son. That's why, after all, you don't just have my face like your father, but also has advantages. You're not insolent. But insensitive. You're too ambitious about one thing to ignore other things.

"Whose teaching was, father?" I snapped. Dad laughed.

It is clear that I am more or less similar to Father Adrian even though I am his biological son. After all, the one who took care of me educated me, and the only person I imitated since I was a baby was Father Nathan. How can I not be like that?

"You're mature enough, you know, Jun ..." said the father who looked serious. "You know, after all, if Father doesn't care which of my children will marry first?"

"Yes, father," I replied. Father Nathan seemed to take a deep breath.

"You always leave mom and dad, and I'm sure that living alone is very hard. I've felt it, Jun. It's a different story if you have a life partner, you can tell all your worries. In every trouble there must be someone to help. Trust me, son," he said.

I know dad actually said the right thing. Marriage is something I have to think about. Moreover, at a time like this, the harvest in several places failed. If I had a life partner, I would certainly be able to convey this complaint, and not keep it to myself.

"I want to marry dad. But honestly, I haven't looked. I want to have a wife who is motherly, who is patient, and compassionate. I don't think I've found her yet," I replied. Father looked nodding.

"Adult doesn't mean those who have children and husbands, even widows, you know, Jun. Getting married is like buying a lottery with prizes, buy one get seven free."

"Like you, don't just marry a widow," I teased. Dad laughed.

"Well, don't get me wrong. Your mother tastes like a virgin. Once you try to make me addicted!" he said. I just smile. Then dad put his arm around me. "Not that girl, Jun. Don't,"

I lowered my face at my father's words. Apparently heavy. Yes, this is absolutely impossible.
