Chapter 3 - Newcomer

Solomon and the Seventy-Two Terrorists : Newcomer (written by Beleth)

Everything was quite in the base if it wasn't for the knock at the door.

"Ah, we have a knock-knock there. Zaper, see who it is," said Agares.

The camera showed a woman, who looked like an Arab, but with red hair.

Agares smiled in a creepy way. "Well, well! Gremory's here," he said. "Zaper! Open the door to see the new face. And guard the door, Paymon. Make no rats enter here. And you, Astaroth, contact Bael. Let Solomon know the happy arrival."

Everyone did as he said. Agares had talent in commanding for sure.

Me, Beleth the thirteenth terrorist of Solomon, did nothing. The fifty-six one wasn't my style. No, I didn't like her from the start.

Morax came near me. He in a calm but warning tone, he said, "Beleth, I can see what you're thinking. Let it down, the Solomon wants peace. Peace is what he cherishes the most."

"Says a terrorist.... Don't worry Morax. This gun is for somebody else," I said. And it was true. The bullet was for the pope only. No bullet shall be wasted in anybody beside him.

Zaper and Paymon let the red headed girl in. She tried to introduce herself but Paymon skillfully covered her mouth to stop her say it.

"Hello, Gremory. I'm Morax, this is Beleth and that's Agares. Oh, and the man behind you is Paymon, he's pretty big."

"Gremory? What sort of name is that? If that's a code name you guys are using, let's make this clear. I'm not in this..., at least for now," the girl said, her voice clear as crystal.

"You, girl, is in the Solomon's vision. You will join us," Agares whispered.

Gremory looked a little bit scared, but only a little. She said, "I'm not into anything before you tell me what's going on. Now, where's Solomon?"

"He's a busy man," Zaper commented. "Agares will tell you everything, right?"

"Yes, right. Gremory, sit down. It's going to be a long talk," said Agares. He ordered me to bring tea to them.

"Solomon is an awaken person. Maybe he's the only one with both eyes opened, and he knows how to really act. Gremory, we, are planning a terror. A big one. We, the seventy-two terrorists are the going to destroy the belief of god."

Everyone could see Gremory's eyes were trembling. It might have been the confusion, or terrified at the mention of terror. But she asked in a normal tone, "for what?" Then I figured it out. She was excited. Again, Solomon found the perfect one for our future.

Agares replied, "doubt makes change, and change makes everything. Gremory, have you heard of the temptation of the demons? Well, now that the gods are real, it's time to present people the demons as well."

Sallos rushed into the room we were in. She whispered something to Agares, who immediately left with her. Solomon had something to say.

Gremory murmured about Agares being very rude, living a guest alone. Than she turned to me, asking, "tell me about the terror."

What I hated most was annoying things, but Solomon and Agares would have gone mad if they find out I said something unpleasant to her. Especially if she runs away. I turned my head to Morax to get permission. Morax nodded, looking a little unsure.

I repeat the sentence which Agares told me the first day I came here. "There are three big plans, the details I don't know. One, be demons. Two, be Erasmus. Three, be heros. Sounds funny, but don't ask me what they mean. I'm not the one who named them."

"Okay, anything else I have to know?"

"You know the game Simon says? We're playing it, Solomon's version. Do what he tells you to do. Every part of your private doing can be a variable to he's great vision. And lastly, if you have questions, find somebody else to ask."

"That's definitely Pseudo. But fine, I'll keep that in mind."

"Every belief and religion is pseudo Miss."

Ipos, a boy about Gremory's age suddenly sneaked behind me. He was the twenty-second terrorist, whom I had no interest in.

Gremory seemed to know him. "Hi, again, Apos," she said.

Ipos sat next to me and said in a sweet tone, "hi, thanks for coming. I'm sorry that the mood isn't so welcoming today."

Gremory's tone wasn't so sweet as Ipos. "Don't mind about it. So you are an atheist, why?" she asked.

Ipos shrugged. "It doesn't matter whether gods exists or not. The thing is, his words cannot be the touchstone of this world's good and evil," he replied. I regarded his answer the best one I'ed heard.

Gremory posed for a second. "Maybe you can just pretend and follow the easy way. You know, get along..., compromise with the society," she said.

Those were questions that I've asked myself for years.

"Then..., nothing will change. All those seconds we stay blinded, it is the weak ones that are being sacrificed."

Ipos's sister, Jeon Heeyeon was executed a few years ago. The name of the charge was that of witchcraft. Of course, that young woman was nothing of a witch. But only a few years ago, thousands of people were framed as a witch and died. The pope didn't care about the truth, and the people enjoyed the crazy show of madness.

Quite a sad story, but almost every member of the Solomon's side had a lost one. We know who the enemy is. And our best achievement in these tragical lives will be the bullet penetrating the pope's head.

Sallos rushed in again, Astaroth by her side.

"Gremory...? Good, you're still here. So, done with your decision?" said Sallos.

I thought that Gremory will ask for a minute to think, like most girls do. But instead she said, "uh, sure. I'm happy to join your terror club. Do you have a contract or something?"

Sallos looked pleased. Not strange because she was the only young girl in the branch. "Yep! follow me. There's a more quite place to have a serious chat. And you boys, I thought it's training time," she said.

"Ugh, give me a break...." I complained out loud, but Ipos and Zapar were already preparing to go downstairs.

"Well nice talk, Gremory. And hope next time, you have the second to memorize my name. I prefer Ipos more than Apos," said Ipos.

Sallos grabbed Gremory's arm softly. "Sorry, Gremory's a busy person, and she got more important things to do," she said.

The newcomer, Gremory was a particular one. She looked like she had been longing for someone like Solomon. Real or not, I looked forward to see her again.
