Sittin here reminiscing over what I been missin it was her smile as it glistens even her eyes when they seemed distant.
I should've known then It was gonna come to an end. Hoping and dreaming about what we could've been. Now I gotta hold this pen while I try and write about the pain i got deep within.
I thought we were protagonists in our own love story but in reality I was just the rebound dude for when you was horny.
I knew it was never gonna last but I was just hoping you'd realize my heart was fragile like glass. But as I shattered I found out you didn't care you were just moving past.
Could you have just slowed down a little bit to taken in the scenery. Maybe traveled our road a bit more leisurely. Or if nothing else acted like it wasn't just time thievery.
But somehow I can't find it in my heart to blame you. I guess we just never had the same view. You were using me to let your pain through, and even though I knew I was just happy to see that like an eagle you once again flew.
