REIDS
I want to show them who I really am!
OLD REIDS
After I made that proclamation, I trained tirelessly every single day.
Reids trains in his room
Reids starts to get a flashback to that moment when it felt like time stopped for him. When Nathan was about to hit him
REIDS THOUGHTS
That feeling. That feeling of awareness. I need to hone it. I must hone everything!
OLD REIDS
I told my father what I needed to do. So he surprised me.
Reids's father leader Reids into their garage
FATHER
Here you are, Hopeful this will help you with whatever you need to do.
Reids clicks his tongue
Reids starts to envision the entire outline of everything in the garage then notices something different
Reids realizes that his father built him a Wing Chun dummy
Reids turns towards his father with a gitty posture
REIDS
Thank you so much, dad.
Reids hugs his dad tightly
REIDS
It means a lot having you two around.
Reids's dad smiles as he slowly hugs Reids back
REIDS
You are very welcome, my son.
OLD REIDS
I then started to train this sense, I would later know what is called the "sixth sense," wanting to train to absolute proficiency.
Reids over the past five weeks trains with his bokken on the wing chun dummy. Getting hit in the face with one of the arms
Reids puts his hand over the place he was hit on the face, rubbing it
REIDS
Ow.
OLD REIDS
But that wasn't the only thing I trained within those five weeks. I trained my other senses, body, mind, and soul.
Reids sits in his room meditating
Reids starts to train with his bokken, envisioning the fight with Nathan over and over again
Reids stops, panting
REIDS
If I fight him again. I will win.
Reids starts to train even faster and harder
Reids trains with the wing Chun dummy in his garage even more
Reids dodges and weaves every single strike
Every time he dodges he clicks his tongue
OLD REIDS
I didn't realize at the time but I have started to develop some sort of human version of echolocation.
Reids walks up to his braille calendar
Reids scathes his hand across the calendar to a certain day, April 30th
OLD REIDS
Until I realized the day had come and I was ready.
Reids picks up his bag with his bokken hidden within it and walks out of his room
Reids gets out of a car in front of a gymnasium
Reids clicks his tongue
Reids looks around
Reids looks up at the gymnasium
Reids clenches his fist
REIDS
It's time to win!
