Two days have passed and the rose still doesn't wither. The quality of this rose is very high compared to its price. This one will do, I grabbed the rose from the small vase and headed to the other room of my house.
It took me a day to finish it, and it was damn successful. I should call luna she needs to hear this. I immediately got my phone and dialed Luna's number.
"Amber?" She said.
"Did I just woke you up?" I said.
"Yes, I mean no," she replied.
"Well, you remembered the rose? The one that I bought?" I said.
"The rose that pricked you?" She replied.
"Yeah, I tried to make it as a perfume," I said excitedly.
"You did?, What happened ?!" She said.
"The perfume is very high quality because of the rose the scent is, I can't explain it come over here," I said.
"Alright alright, wait," she turned off the phone call and I just stared at the perfume that I made.
A minute passed and Luna arrived at my house.
"Let me see it?" She said.
"Here," I hand over the bottle of the perfume.
"I didn't make a lot since I only used one rose," I added.
"This is much actually," she said.
"I haven't made any other perfumes recently, I'm glad it worked," I said and sat on the sofa.
"I like the scent, Amberly your such an angel," she said while clapping.
"It's just my hobby no more than that," I said.
"I think it's time for you to you know, pursue your dreams?" She said and sat beside me.
"I already left that dream before Luna, you know it," I said and look at her.
"Maybe it's time to do it again?" She said. "Nothing's gonna happen if you don't try?"
"Maybe," I replied.
"And besides you can always see Mr. Fairy," she said and slightly poke my shoulder.
"Really? Was it really me?!" I said and raised my brows.
"Alright, I admit he's pretty like me." She said and wink at me.
"Too bad his only at the shop at weekend during the afternoon onwards," she added.
"He does?" I said.
"Yeah, you don't know since you always walk at the other alley so you won't notice," she replied.
"I can easily ride a bus there tho," I replied.
"Anyways Amber I'm telling you, you should follow what your heart is saying," she said.
"I really like the perfumes you make and I'm sure people will too." She said.
"I'll think about it More," I said and sighed. "You can take it if you like it."
"Wha really?! Thank you amber," she said and hugged me.
"Always welcome," I replied.
The morning came and I immediately went after my laptop to see, if any email came from the company. I got disappointed when I saw nothing but suddenly a pop-up email arrived Saying I was hired. I couldn't keep my excitement and hurriedly text Luna. She will be happy with the news I got.
I got so happy that I didn't notice I was in front of my perfume room. The room I used when I make the perfume yesterday. This is my most favorite place at the house, seeing those little bottles displayed on the shelf the perfumes I made years ago the notes on the walls, and books on the cabinets. This room's fragrance is relaxing.
This is where my father used to work before. Being inside this room is like being with my father.
"I miss you so much, dad," I said and look at the picture frame beside my table.
Today is Saturday and I decided to stop by at the flower shop. I still have to repay him and I need to buy some flowers too for my perfume. I keep thinking about making some and selling it as a start.
I went inside and there was no one there, I look around and noticed the flowers. It's still as beautiful as always. Suddenly a person went out of a door holding two boxes which covers his face. He put the boxes on the floor and looked at me.
"Do you?..do you need anything?" he asked and his wearing the shop's apron.
I got spaced out but went back immediately.
"Yeah, ah I'll buy a dozen of red roses," I said.
"Alright," he replied. I was looking at him intently that I feel he got awkward.
"Anything wrong?" he asked he looked confused.
"No, not at all I just didn't see you here before?" I said.
"I've been here at this shop sometimes actually," he replied.
"You did? Well, it's my third time being here so I really won't be able to notice you at all," I said.
"By the way here," I said and handed him my paper bag.
"This is for?"
"For Mr. Fairy, I bought a new Towel, he gave me the one he has so I need to somewhat return it to him and his umbrella of course," I said.
"I was supposed to give it to him personally but I see he isn't here," I said and look around.
"He just got busy, so I take over his duty today, anyways I'll give it to him," he said and gave me the roses.
"Here's the payment," I said and handed the money but after he accepts the money he stared at me.
"This scent?" He said. "It smells good."
"It's my perfume," I said.
"Really?"
"Yeah, and I made it myself," I replied.
"You're a perfumist?" He asked.
"Well I'm not really a professional," I replied.
"I mean the scent is really good," he said.
"Thank you, I'll be using these flowers too. This flower shop sells very good quality of flowers."
"We make sure of it, then I'll be rooting for you," he said.
"Thank you, by the way, do you mind if I asked for your name?" It won't hurt if I asked him his name right?.
"Zachary... I'm Zachary but Zach will suffice," he said.
"I'm Amberly nice to meet you," I said before leaving the flower shop.
He liked my perfume, I'm so happy. Someone appreciated my perfume. I'll promise to make a very good quality of perfume.
"Today is your first day right?" A girl from beside me asks.
"Yeah, it is," today is my first at Aiden Company. Aiden is the owner's surname the CEO to be exact.
"I'm Ashley the Product Manager, you'll be working under me," she said.
"I'm Amberly nice to meet you," I said and shake her hand.
"You really smell good," she said.
"Oh really, thanks," I said and smile.
"What kind of perfume do you use?" She asked.
"I made it my own, and I'm planning to sell some," I replied.
"Really that's great then can I buy one?"
"Yep,sur—" I didn't continue what I'm going to say when a white-haired man entered the office. Then got distracted, I mean his beauty is out of this world, and his skin matched his white hair and blue eyes.
"He's gorgeous," I whispered.
"I know right, thank god I work under him," Ashley said.
"Under him?" I asked.
"Yeah, you don't know who he is?" She said and I shake my head.
"His Aamon lewis Head Manager of this company," she said.
"So he was the one who went to another country?" I said.
"Yep, too sad his put of my league," she said and sigh.
"Let's go I'll show you around," she said.
I nodded and stared at him again. I got chills when he looked at me that I immediately turn around and slowly walked beside Ashley and put my eyes away. I got nervous all of a sudden.
"And lastly this is the canteen," she said as our tour ended.
"This will take me weeks to memorize every floor," I said and sat on the bench.
"I know right, I keep losing around when I was still new here," she said and sat beside me.
"I noticed there are no pictures of the CEO around the building manager Ashley?" I said and look around.
"The CEO is a very lowkey person? I guess. He never went outside of his office when hiss here, only when there's board meetings or important matters." She explained.
"Have you seen him in person?" I asked.
"Yeah once, and I'll never forget that face. If I could properly explain it right is more handsome than sir. Aamon." she added.
"Really?" I said.
"Yes, but his personality is the opposite. His Cold, strict, and lastly likes to glare, but even though he's like that he never treats his workers bad." She said.
"I see," I said.
"Oh lastly his secretary is handsome too, I don't know why but this company is full of well looking people."
"His secretary too?" I asked.
"Yeah his Name is Zachary Wright," she said. Zachary? Right the man from the flower shop too named Zachary. It's a pretty common name but still Hits different.
"I see, I just did went to a company of handsome guys.. what an exciting journey," I said.
"Right?! Let's keep exploring this land," Manager Ashley said and we both laughed.
"But seriously you really smells very good," she said.
"Amberly, This Are the papers the Head manager should review can you give them to him?" Manager Ashley said.
"Yes, Ma'am," I replied and Carried the papers.
I went to the Head Manager's office and knock 3 times. I heard him say come in so I open the door and walk close to his table. He has a good deep voice.
"Sir. These are the papers Miss Ashley sent," I said and put the papers on his table.
"Alright thank you," he said without even looking at me.
This room is covered? The sun from the outside can't reach the inside because of the thick grey curtains. Just the lights from the inside lit it.
"Wait, is it you?" He said I look at him in confusion.
"I smell something fragrant is that you?" He said and stared at me. I nodded.
"Alright you can leave," he said and waved his hands like he was shooing me I just sighed before leaving the room and heading back to my table.
I got a lot of complement for my first day of work sounds like an achievement to me. And my perfume helps a lot, I actually don't use the perfumes I make. I don't know why it's just a small habit of mine before. And now I'm wearing it it's not as bad as I thought.
"Ms. Ashley?" I called.
"Where should I deliver this again?" I said and carry a box filled with documents it's not that heavy but it's loaded.
"Just at the next room, next to ours," she said.
"Alright be right back," I said and went outside. But as soon as I got outside there's a couple of men waiting at the elevator. All of them are wearing suits, especially the one person in front of them. His familiar but I can't see his face clearly since his a distance away from me, And also is wearing glasses I can only see his side profile but not that clear.
A moment after the elevator opens and he went inside first then the other men. I swear his really familiar? It's like I've seen him before But where?.
"Nevermind," I whispered and proceed to the other room.
"Good afternoon, Ms. Ashley asked me to deliver this here," I said and put the box on a table.
"Thank you, you're the newbie right?" One of them asked.
"Yes that's right nice to meet you," I said and slightly bow my head.
"Nice to meet you too," they said. I went out of their office and head back to ours. I saw Mr. Aamon running to the nearest Elevator. I think he didn't notice me when he passes me his really in a hurry.
"Wonder why?" I whispered. Was it because of the guys from earlier? He's going on the same level the guys went. Just who are those?.
