Chapter 6 - Chapter 6. The inconvenience.

She tumbled into the bush with a thud. The leaves rustling against the impact. She groaned, in pain. Who the hell pushed past her? She got up off of the bush and brushed off the leaves on her uniform, checking to see that there weren't any in her hair. Luckily her uniform didn't get dirty. She quickly regained her focus and fixed her ponytail. She looked around and no one seemed to have noticed that she fell, which was good. She didn't want unnecessary attention. The person who bumped into her had left already so she wouldn't know who it was.

That was disappointing, she really wanted to tell the person off or at least get an apology, but whatever, it didn't really matter anymore. Though she was still slightly pissed as she walked towards the entrance of the school.

She had memorised her schedule before coming here because she didn't want to have to keep looking at it to see where to go. Her first class was in her homeroom. It was C6, room 24. She walked along the hallway of doors until she got to the classroom.

Opening the door, she saw many students already situated in their seats. They were all chatting away, making new friends. She quietly walked towards an empty seat in the middle row. She wanted to seem normal by sitting in the middle and not the front or the end. She sat down and everyone around her didn't notice her. Good, she just had to remain that way until the end of the school year. After about a few moments the homeroom teacher came in.

She introduced herself; "Good morning class C6, I'm Miss Sato" she said writing her name on the chalkboard. "I hope we can all get along this school year and-" She was cut off by the door opening. Four students walked into the classroom.

Asami looked to see who the interruptions were, when she flinched at the sight of them. She felt the whole world around her blur. She only saw the four students. They…they were the characters in the otome game! She could recognise those faces anywhere especially when one of them, the girl, was the avatar she played as! The MC!

She felt as if she was going to die. She felt suffocated, even though they were so far away from her. She wanted to cry, though her eyes felt dry.

When she calmed down and could hear again, she saw them introducing themselves and surprise, surprise, they were the names of the characters. She breathed heavily before thinking carefully about this.

One of her assumptions were correct. She had come into a world familiar to her. It was the otome game "This Sweet Blood Of Mine" Thankfully she seemed to not be a part of the main cast but was actually a girl who never showed up on the screen, had no lines and no description of being in the story. She was a mere extra. At least one thing was going well for her. She was an extra so even if she tried she wouldn't get the attention of the leads right? So she had to remain in the background, have no special purpose and seem neutral towards everyone and everything.

One thing that pained her from doing this was that she had to purposely get average grades and seem like she didn't know much about the subjects she had already done back in her own world. Though she had to do it, if she wanted to survive that is.

She refocused in class and saw that someone had sat down beside her, it was another extra who had been paying attention to the teacher this whole time. Seeing this she also looked towards the teacher, who was going through the role. When her name came up she raised her hand slightly before taking it down.

Classes went alright, since it was the first day of school, teachers mainly introduced themselves, relayed the rules and went easy on the work.

Tomorrow they would be deciding what club they wanted to join after school.

Just as she was getting up to leave, as the day had ended, she heard a voice talking to her. She looked to her side to see that it was her classmate who sat beside her. He said "Hi, I'm Hori Yoichi, nice to meet you, what's your name?" She didn't know what to say so she simply nodded and walked out the class as fast as possible.

She mentally slapped herself for acting like a weirdo, when she was outside the school. What was she going to do tomorrow, when she had to face him again? She just had to come up with an excuse as to why she ran out. Ok that's the goal for tomorrow and, she should also at least try to make a friend and avoid the main cast at all costs.

She walked home quickly, thinking again and again on how to avoid the cast, playing the worst case scenarios out in her head.

Tomorrow is a new day. She should try her best and see what happens. Also she should make a note to cry when she gets home and to curse whoever the hell brought her to this godforsaken world.
