"Leo! When are you going to explain me everything?!"
It was Lan's voice coming out from the room. I walk a bit near so I could hear him clear.
"You know it clearly Lan. There is nothing to explain!"
"Then Why are you behaving so weird.. some time ago you looked like you were on verge of your death but….. How did you knew that the trade thing can make you better?.... there is something ominous going on here, do you know about it?.. Why is everything disordered? "
"THAT'S ENOUGH LAN!..... You are feeling this because you are back after a long time here… don't think much! Just wait for some time, you will be proud of me as you brother…. HAHA!HAHA!HAHA!"
("Lan is Leo's Brother?!!?")
"FINE! I… AM STAYING HERE!"
"WHAT! NO! you should back."
"I still have some work to do so I am staying here!"
Lan and Leo, both were silent. It was disappointing that Lan won't be joining us but it was more shocking that he was King Leo's Brother!
I moved back from the door and walked towards my room. It was almost noon time.
("Why was I eavesdropping again? I don't know !")
I walked into my room and laid on my bed,
" Lan has a brother and he is KING LEO!... What exactly is going on around me?[slacking]"
TAK! TAK! TAK! [KNOCKING]
"May I come in?" Roger asked.
"Yessss come in…."I answered from my bed.
"Aren't you getting ready?"
"There is nothing much to get ready."
"oh yes!"
"Roger. Can I ask you something?"
"Yes?"
"Is Lan King Leo's brother?"
"Yup. They both are half brothers with different mothers. Is it bothering you?"
"No.. its just I felt a bit shocked that's it…I guess its more complicated here… and what are we going to do about the sacred elements?"
"The black smoke protecting it has something to do with the evil and so I would like to do some research about it and its better to keep the matter at rest now. If we tried to dig in now it can be hazardous for us."
"yes. You are right… the fellow who worshipped the evil…who was it is still a mystery…"
"Let get more information about the map first then we can conclude."
"[giggle] you just want to return to you town…. That's your first goal right?"
"[laugh] you are a very sharp kid like always I guess."
TAK! TAK! TAK!
"come in! come in!"
Lan entered the room with a guilty innocent look.
"I came to tell you guys that…. I won't be joining you on the journey. I have some unfinished work here… so I will catch you guys later… and I am thinking of searching about the yesterday's incident too…so.."
We were dejected by the thought that he wont be joining us yet his CUTE and innocent face was admiring.
"Its fine lan.. You can come after you finish your work. Right?"
"[chuckles] Yes. Yes for sure."
TAK!TAK!TAK!
"ugh! You guys are sitting here… I was looking for you… come on it's time to goooo!"
Fiona grabbed me out of bed. I went to pick some things form wardrobe. Fiona went ahead with Roger. I checked again if I was missing something. I looked at Lan, Smiled and turned around to leave but he caught my hand and pulled me into its embrace. A comforting hug filled with warmth and worry made me relieved.
Hugging back I muttered,
"Come soon Lan!"
He said nothing and released me. He turned around and stood there. I guessed he must be a bit unhappy about it. I gave his back a pat and left. Roger and Fiona were waiting for me in the hallway.
("Ho! Ho! What a sorrowful sight!!!")
[glaring]("This old geezer!!")
We went down the stair where King Leo was waiting for us at the exit.
"It was glad meeting you Lady Ariya…"
He suddenly hugged me.. [awkward and shocked]… then he took my hands and kissing it.
"[awkward smile] It was pleasure meeting you too King Leo."
It was a bit awkward moment but Roger interrupted it, hugging him forcefully.[Hilarious moment]
We sat in a carriage and departed. Roger and Fiona were too excited for this journey.
"Fiona you said we have to drop off dragon…. Where is the dragon?"
"We are. You will know it. Just wait."
The carriage stopped at a big multi store building. Well it had the European look and a modern touch.
"Let's go!"
We got out of carriage and went inside the building. It was like a huge mall filled with lots of people or more like a science centre or more appropriate a Magic Centre.
There was a fountain situated at the centre which was a very big one. It was not a common fountain of water but was filled with various fluids like lava, glittery, thundering, etc. The artsy look and magical moment made it more special. Many kids were loitering around with books and gadgets.
"WOW! WHAT IS THIS?"
"You can call it a school or university or a research centre where you teach the best talents." answered Fiona.
We entered a big laboratory which was big enough a football ground… no literally…so BIG… There were various species of animals everywhere. They were Hybrid, mix species and even legendary. Most important thing was that they were all out and not caged. They were free. Fiona went to a person who appeared to be a scientist. She took something from his hand and turned for us to see that's when we noticed that the BIG FIRE DRAGON HAD SHRUNKEN TO THE SIZE OF A CAT.
"WOHH! Magic is amazing! How did they do it?"
"It is a potion. Magic Potion. The effect will last till night only."
I was admiring the little dragon while Roger was busy talking to some people whom he knew.
"He is a scientist and he had worked here in the past…. " Fiona replied, "let us depart before it is too late."
She called Roger and handed over the little dragon to him. We followed her as she walked ahead. We went through some stairs and then a big terrace space where a unique passage consisting different rides.
Carriages that can fly without wheels, some without a driver, some that can float on water, etc. It was an amazing place just like a showroom for cars.
"Holly molly! It is just amazing!"
"Let me show you something more amazing…"
She took me to the last transport which was blurred with a magic spell protecting it.
"UTPRASEV!!" she chanted loudly.
The covering started to dissolve slowly like a burning paper. It was a transport just like a FLYING SAUCER!!!!
