They were after me! I didn't need to look back to check if the men where chasing after me, I could hear their footsteps as the followed me into the woods. I pushed myself to run faster but my stupid tight as fuck dress was slowing me down and it was getting harder to breathe! I needed help! I thought to myself as I ran.
"BLUE!" I yelled as I ran. I chanced a look behind me and I couldn't see the men, but I knew they were in the woods with me. They were beasts and they know their way inside the woods but so do I. With that thought, I ran towards Blue's hideout.
"BLUE!" I yelled again hoping he would hear me this time and I was about to run again when two men suddenly appeared in front of me, stopping me in my tracks. I turned back to run but two men were already blocking my escape route. They had me all surrounded.
One of the men advanced towards me, "You should stop running, it's useless and starting to get really boring" He drawls out and I glared at him while looking for an opening among them I could use to escape.
"Just come with us please" Another man said in a bored tone but I made no effort to move towards them. I'd rather stay in the woods and be eaten by wild animals than to live with actual beasts.
Blue just where the hell are you? I thought to myself as I looked around frantically trying to find a escape route. An opportunity soon presented itself when I heard a loud howl. I raised my head up to see Blue standing not more than ten feet away from us. I smiled when Blue charged at us and lunged himself at the two men in front of us, catching them off guard.
Good boy Blue! I praised as he started growling at the other two men. Blue moved to stand beside me as he continued growling at the men who stared at each other. I bet they were already scared, I muse a cocky grin already on my face. I was still grinning when I noticed something, Blue was acting strange!
I turned to look at Blue who was shaking his head as if trying to clear something attacking his head. I frowned at that then turned to stare at the men, only to see that one of them was gazing intently at Blue. I turned my gaze back to Blue only to see he was moving backwards and still shaking his head, his growls turning into a whimper now.
No! "What are you doing to him? Stop it!" I yelled at the man who was still gazing at Blue who already fell into the snow now.
"No, Blue!" I yelled as I knelt down beside Blue trying to touch him but he was thrashing so bad. Oh my God! I thought to myself in horror as the men came towards me and held me by the arms.
No! I needed to help Blue, I need to save him! I thought to myself as I watched Blue go limp into the snow.
"BLUE!" I yelled as I thrashed against the men, struggling to free myself. But the men held on tighter as I struggled against them and I was still struggling when I felt a cloth being pressed into my nose. The last thing I could recall was the sharp smell of chemical before everything went dark.
I woke up some time later in a bed that didn't feel like mine. I immediately raised myself up but I instantly regretted it because I felt a pain in my head. Groaning, I looked around only to notice a cup of water on a nightstand. I tried to reach for it but instead I knocked it over. I was about to reach for it when the door opened and a girl came inside.
"Oh thank the moon goddess you are awake" The girl rushed out as she came to sit on the bed, "We were all worried the dosage of the drug had been too much" She said looking at me with concern.
Drug? I had been drugged! Well I guess that explains the headache in my head, I muse dryly and then turned to look at the girl who was staring at me with a bright smile on her face. Looking at her up close, she looks very beautiful.
She had dark long straight hair, it was so dark its almost blue. She had long eyelashes that framed her dark eyes which were smiling at me. She had long straight nose and rosy red lips. She was stunning! I didn't think I could have seen anyone more beautiful than Rissa but this girl whoever she is, was more beautiful.
"Who are you?" I asked groggily.
"Oh, let me get you a cup of water" The girl said and walked across the room to get me another cup of water, "My name is Aurora, sister to the alpha of the Midnight pack" She handed me the cup of water as she spoke.
I greedily emptied the water which was refreshing, "Thanks" I handed the cup over to Aurora who collected the cup from me with a smile.
"Wow" Aurora breathed out and I arched a brow up at that, "Now I know what the fuss was about, you are indeed as beautiful as they say" Aurora says looking at me and at that I started coughing.
"Oh my gods, you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, sorry" I told her with a nod of my head, "I'm sorry but I need to go home" I told her and she raised her eyebrows up at me.
"What do you mean?" She asked me and I was just about to answer when the door opened and the most handsome man I've ever seen walked into the room.
He was very tall and he had tanned skin. He had dark hair that was slicked backwards except for two rogue curls which fell down to form a curtain on his forehead. The man stared right hard at me and I could feel my chest beat faster as he did.
"She is up already, I'm impressed considering the dosage of drug she inhaled" The man said a cocky grin forming on his chiseled face but the thing I focused on was the voice.
I've heard the voice before! I thought to myself when realization suddenly dawned on me. He was the masked man who was giving orders back in my house!
"You!" I snarled at him.
The man merely arched a brow up at me, "And there's that fire! I like a girl who puts up a fight, it's been years since I've met one" He says with amusement but I glared at him.
"Where am I? Where is Blue?" I demanded still glaring at him.
"Blue? That's a strange name, who is that?" Aurora asked with a confused expression on her face.
"Her wolf" The man answered without taking her eyes of me.
"Oh yeah, I heard about that!" Aurora said excitedly then turned to look at me, "I heard you could talk to a wolf! Like you have some kind of connections with animals, like how did you do it? Can you hear them in your mind, you know we werewolves have some kind of connection like that too, we are able to mind link each other, hear our own thoughts and it's..." Aurora started to ramble words that didn't make sense to me in excitement but thankfully she was stopped by the handsome man.
"Alright sis, that's enough" So she was his sister? That's explains why she is beautiful.
"Alright Kiran" Aurora said with a small sigh and shot an apologetic look at me which I probably would have returned if I wasn't busy glaring at the man whose name I now know.
"I swear to God, if you hurt Blue..."
"What will you do?" Kiran cut me off before I could finish.
"I'll kill you!" I answered without missing a beat and I was a little surprised at how calm and steady my voice was.
Kiran smirked at me as if finding my threat amusing, "Come on Aurora, let's give her time to rest" Kiran said then began leading Aurora away.
"What do you want with me anyway?" I asked before they could leave my room.
"You really don't know?" Kiran asked cocking his head at me, "You are here because you are his Chosen" Kiran answered.
"Chosen? Whose chosen?" I asked in confusion.
Kiran smirked at me, "You should rest now" Kiran said ignoring my question and before I could ask him any more question, he left my room with Aurora, locking me inside, bastard!
I stared at the locked door with a million questions going through my mind. Kiran had said I was here because I was 'his chosen' but I don't know what that means and most importantly, whose chosen? I asked myself as I stared at the locked door.
I don't know who they are talking about and I don't want to know because I wasn't going to stick around to find out. I am going to escape this place!
