It was utter chaos at the castle!
As soon as I rode in with Ivan slumped behind me the alarms sounded. The guards all rushed out to come help their king. Aurora and Kiran rushed out, a panicked look on their faces when they saw Ivan in his wounded state. But Kiran snapped into action, he began barking out orders as the guards rushed Ivan to his bedroom.
"Your majesty, are you okay?" A guard asked as I climbed the stairs, hurrying after the guards carrying Ivan.
"I'm fine." I told him keeping my eyes on Ivan, monitoring him. He was still breathing but it was weak.
"But the blood..."
"Not mine!" I cut him off as we rushed to Ivan's bedroom where he was immediately placed on the bed.
