Flashback

Shouting "Hya!" came from a chamber; it was Lily Cade practicing her swordsmanship.

Lily Cade's opponent said "Keugh," and the referee called a timeout and summoned an ambulance to assist Lily Cade's opponent.

"Can't you be kind to your opponents, Lily?" the referee asked, and Lily just rolled her eyes.

"I'm pretty tired of this," Lily admitted, and the referee only frowned.

"You know, you need to be courteous to other people sometimes," the referee remarked.

"Yeah, yeah," Lily muttered as she finished packing her belongings while the referee continued to scold her.

End of Flashback

'Sigh, I sincerely regret not following your commands, referee,' Penelope thought as she continued walking and spotted her father training alongside other knights.

So she goes there to say hello to her father.

"Good morning, Father," Penelope greeted him cheerfully.

"Good morning, child. Are you ready for your training?" Duke Harry asked, smiling.

I've never seen Captain smile before; is this Lady Penelope's power? 'other knights thought

"Oh, then give me a hug before we train," Duke Harry remarked, and Penelope giggled.

"Sure, father," Penelope responded before hugging her father.

While Penelope was hugging her father, Duke Harry looked at the knights and gave them a "What are you all thinking hmm?" glare, which made the other knights tremble, but they were interrupted when the hug was finished.

"So, father, who will be the person with whom I will train?" Penelope said of her father.

"You'll be training with my Vice Captain," Duke Harry explained.

"But where is he?" Penelope wonders.

"He should be here any minute now," Duke Harry replied, as a tall guy paused in front of him, gathering his breath.

He said, gasping for air, "S-sorry sir, I'm late."

"It's fine, but what took you so long?" Duke Harry asks.

"Sir, I merely ran some errands," he explained, and Duke Harry simply nodded.

"Penelope, this is my vice captain, Aiden Greyson, from the Count's Grayson Chamber," Duke Harry remarked, and Penelope nodded.

"So you're Lady Penelope?" Aiden asks.

"Yes, I am," Penelope replied enthusiastically.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, milady," Aiden remarked, before bowing and kissing Penelope's hand in front of Duke Harry.

Duke Harry's pov

I was irritated when I noticed my Vice Captain kissing my daughter's hand.

This is why I do not want my daughter to study swordsmanship because she will be surrounded by men.

"So the rumors were correct," Aiden explained.

"Are there rumors?" my daughter inquires.

"Rumors say Milady is a beauty with fair and soft white skin," Aiden said, and my daughter laughed.

Aiden, you flirty b**tard, how dare you flirt with my daughter?

"But I haven't heard any rumors about that," my daughter pointed out.

Of course you haven't heard anything about it, honey, because there aren't any rumors about it.

Back to the third-person pov

Duke Harry's frown has caused the knights to shiver.

'Mama, help me get out of here.' Some knights thought

'Please, Vice Captain, do not play with fire,' the other knights begged.

"Oh, really?" Aiden inquires.

"Really" is my frugal response.

"Haha, you are correct, there is no such thing. I just made it to make you happy," Aiden explains, and Penelope laughs.

"EHEM! We need to train now," Duke Harry exclaimed.

'Sh*t, I think the duke is mad at me,' Aiden thought.

On the Battlefield

All of Constantine's knights were tried in battle to see whether they were worthy of becoming and official Constantine knights.

The Constantine Knights are accomplished knights who have defeated the Emperor's knights, which is why many individuals aspire to be Constantine knights.

"Penelope, you should practice first before fighting on the battlefield," Duke Harry stated, while Aiden simply followed them.

"Just believe me, Father," Penelope remarked before proceeding to the referee.

Penelope approached the referee and asked, "Excuse me?"

"Yes? Is there anything I can do for you—" The referee doesn't continue his statement when Penelope speaks.

"I'll be right next to that match," Penelope and the referee laughed.

"HA HA, you? "No offense, but you're a girl," the referee said, which enraged Penelope.

"Tsk, you've never seen a girl fight before?" Penelope asks the question.

"That's correct, I haven't seen any girl like swordsmanship except for the Duchess Constantine," the referee stated, making Penelope laugh.

"Are you a d*mb b*tch? You said you didn't know any girls who liked swordsmanship. " Penelope said in a irritated tone

"HAH? Who are you to tell me I'm a d*mb b*tch?" the referee retorted fiercely.

In the meanwhile, with Aiden

Aiden and Duke Harry noticed the referee becoming agitated, which enraged Duke Harry, who attempted to approach them but was stopped by Aiden.

"Why did you put a stop to me, Aiden?" Duke Harry demanded angrily.

"Let us see what Lady Penelope does," Aiden said, and Duke Harry was persuaded.

"Tsk, fine," Duke Harry said.

Back to Penelope.

"You said you haven't seen any girls likes swordsmanship, right?" Penelope asked angrily.

"That is correct," the referee said.

"Then why did you say the Duchess Constantine liked it?" Penelope demanded emphatically.

"T-that..." the referee said, not knowing what to say.

"Tsk, alright, you win this time, woman," the referee remarked.

Several minutes later

The other men's duel has already concluded, and it is now time for Penelope to fight.

"R/n and Lady?" replied the referee (They don't know Penelope because they haven't seen her yet).

"Lily Cade," Penelope introduced herself.

"All right, Lady Lily Cade, both of you go and please choose your weapon," the referee stated, and Penelope's opponent takes a big sword, while Penelope chooses a green bladed katana, and the two proceed to the field to combat.

"Don't go easy on me girl, you might lose anyhow," the opponent replied, and half of the men cheered for him.

"They say don't judge a book by its cover." Penelope stated, and the opponent assumed it was a joke.

"Let the fight begin!" the referee shouted, and the opponent attacked Penelope, who dodged like a breeze, leaving the opponent stunned.

Penelope then appeared behind the opponent and damaged his cheeks.

"What the—" The opponent didn't finish his sentence because he passed out because Penelope karate chopped his neck and everyone around him was shocked because of Penelope's speed.

"I told you not to judge a book by its cover," Penelope remarked.

'Heh, I never lose when it comes to swordmanship,' Penelope reflected.

"Lady Lilly Cade wins," the referee announced, and Penelope walked away.

At the Imperial Palace

When someone knocks on the Queen's door, she is preoccupied dealing with the palace renovation.

"Come in," the queen said, and a knight entered.

"Greetings, your Majesty," the knight said as he bowed.

"What do you need?" the queen inquires.

"I got news from the knight of the second prince," the knight said, and the queen stopped what she was doing.

"What does it say?" inquires the Queen.

"It is said that his highness will return soon," the knight said, and the queen's face lit up.
