Aegle was conflicted. Being a consort of Apollo had given her many beautiful children all powerful and all of their divinities, useful.
However, the child currently in her belly, she could not tell. On a particular Winter Solstice, Hades had been seduced by her with a little help from Aphrodite and a magical potion, next thing you know and she's ended up pregnant with his child. The worst thing is, she drew the wrath of Persephone and Demeter upon herself.
She hoped her child would be worth it, since the father was one of the big 3, she hoped the child would be exceptionally powerful.
'From the seed of Hades, he could elevate me and his siblings to a greater status among the gods of Olympus.'
While Aegle and her children were known as the healers and physicians of the gods, they were still minor gods. Besides, how many times does a greek god get a injury?

Dante POV
After my talk with god, I was pulled through a sort of black hole. Ending up somewhere wet and squishy, for a second I panicked however I caught myself, reasoning that I must be a fetus about to be born.
How weird, my mind is perceiving information from my new bodies mother. The expectations she had for me being the son of….o-of Hades was immense. So im the child of H-Hades. One of my favorite greek gods, after Hestia, he was probably the chillest, often being completely neutral to the gods of Olympus and their dumbass problems.
The story that cements this was when Heracles traveled to the underworld to receive the soul of Queen Alcestis, wife of Heracles's good friend, King Admentus. Hades was so moved by the love story of the couple that he just gave her to him. Totally based.

Over the past couple of days I had refreshed what I knew of greek mythology. Specifically the gods i'm going to be encountering.
1. Zeus is a really bad person
2. Poseidon is almost as bad, but not quite
3. Hades, the chillest among them, still cheated on his wife…but didn't she cheat on him with Adonis?
4. Hera sucks
5. All vain and arrogant to humans and any other lower life form. I MIGHT become like this, who knows.
Thats a bulk of what I got-
"AHHHHH"
Who is screaming, OHHH, Im being born, well lets go.

3rd POV
"Please mother, you must breathe, you are a goddess." Epione, a daughter of Apollo and Aegle, and minor goddess of soothing pain.
Numerous childbirth goddesses were trying to help the birth. At first Aegle was honored so many goddesses would help her with the childbirth, but then she realized that they inly helped because Zeus wanted someone their to inspect and report back to him about the level of power it might have.
Aceso and Hygieia also contributing, making sure to heal their beloved mother. "There, there mother it is nearly out." Epione reassuring her mother.
The birth of this child was exacting a heavy toll on her divine body, everyone around knew this was a sign of a future powerful god or goddess. Everyone atop Mount Olympus heard the cries of a baby that day, its voice reaching the farthest reaches of the Mountain.
"Congratulations mother, ITS A BOY!" The three daughters of Aegle announce the birth of another child of their mother.
"Let me see him." Aegle never felt so satisfied, SHE, a minor god, had given birth to such a powerful god.
'He will serve his family well, I will raise him to listen to my every word.' Aegle ponders as a smile graces her lips.
Looking at her baby boy, the first thing she notices is the vibrant, aggressive lime green color of his eyes, making them seem to be made of divine emeralds.
"They look as if they were crafted by lord Hephaestus himself." Epione comments.
'An absolutely hideous and awful looking god, even I would have chucked him from the mountain, yet I cannot fathom the beauty of his designs.' Aegle once again ponders.
"What will his name be mother?" Aceso asks.
"His name will be..Asclepius."
"A good name, but what is he the god of?"
"Lets see…he is the god of,...PLAGUES?????" Aegle exclaims at her sons divinity.
"Eewww, that must be because of lord Hades."
"H-how could he stand by us if he is the god of something so disgusting, shall we toss him for you, mother?"
"You will do no such thing."
A feeling of dread passes over the family of minor gods, and out of nowhere appears Hades, in all his dark glory. Stepping out of the shadows, a man of pale skin with abyssal, dark hair with even darker eyes. His face structured like a supermodel, he like all other gods, is beautiful and/or handsome.
"L-lord H-Hades, you would want this...disgusting creature ?" Aegle asks almost fearfully.
"That is my son, woman, mind your tongue."
"Y-yes, I am sorry Lord Hades."
Aegle hands him his son without any other hesitation. "What is his name?"
"His name is Asclepius, my lord." Aegle answers his question.
"No....his name is Maegor, use such a weak name for another child, but not this one.
Yes...Maegor, God of Decay, Despair, Disease, Sickness, Plague, and Filth. I name you son of Hades and no one else."
