Chapter 122 - Restarting

Hey everybody. I know it's been a long while since I last posted anything. I was taking care of my sick grandparents while also dealing with school work. Now, I started this webnovel last summer, and I was passionate as all hell. Now, however, while I'm still passionate, I realized I jumped into this without a plan. In addition, my capabilities as a writer have evolved since then, and my previous work seems lacking when I look back on it. Not only that, but as I kept writing, I found that the comedic aspect of my work has slowly disappeared. So, with all of these points in mind, I'm going to be taking a break from a Rat's Second Chance, using that time to polish it and improve the story, the system, and the characters. I'll be keeping the old version of it up on Webnovel, just in case I or anyone would like to look back on it for some nostalgia, but the reboot will be moved to Royal Road, I've mentioned it in the past, and I really think that it's just better. There aren't any coins to unlock new chapters, the writing is considerably better, and everything just feels like it's of a higher quality. I have another novel actually on Royal Road. It's called the Magician of Light and Dark, and a lot of thought and care has been put into making it. Anyways, that's where I'll be posting the reboot, and before I leave this site, I just want to thank all of you for all the love and support I and a Rat's Second Chance have been given. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all of you. This was all possible because I knew there were people who looked forward to my next chapter. I love you all, and I'll be seeing you in chapter one.
