The growl left Eodum, from both its stomach and throat. Eodum's stomach acid bubbled in its stomach, wanting to dissolve and digest anything it could. Tendrils of bottomless darkness rose and fell in and out of Eodum. A dangerous glint filled its glowing white eyes, shining with the ferocity and unhingedness of a rabid animal.
Henry spoke up, "Hey Eodum, are you alright?"
Instead of an answer, a low growl shook the ground and the bodies of everyone around. A deep shaking rocked the bones in the bodies of all who stood there. The necromancers were all as silent as mice. Crouched and cowering in the corner, they huddled away from Eodum. A twitch of the hand from one and the slight shuffle of feet from another was all it took to draw Eodum's attention.
Without warning, Eodum disappeared, and it then reappeared next to the necromancers. A scream of terror ripped through the air, promptly cutting off with the empty air in the place of one of the necromancers' heads. More screams shrilled, and one by one, they stopped. The body of one was swallowed in the blink of an eye, and two more soon followed.
Tentacles lashed out at neckbreak speed, breaking the necks with a pound to the side. As if they were never there, not a mark was left by the bodies. Furniture drifted through the air, being pulled by the planet's gravity and Eodum's. Impatient tentacles emerged from Eodum's body, gripping the chairs and tables floating through the air and pulling them into Eodum's body. Planks of wood struggled against the ground, creaking and groaning as they tried to pull themselves into Eodum.
Henry and Sheila struggled against the pull of Eodum's gravity. The unbalanced and rickety walls groaned, tilting towards Eodum.

A shriek cut through the air, pained and wild, grating against Henry and Sheila's ears. A step forward from Eodum increased the pressure they felt. They tried to stand still but felt the struggle as if they were in a storm. Slowly, they were dragged towards Eodum. Sheila planted her feet in the ground, holding herself steady, "Eodum, snap out of it!"
"Wake up, damn it!" Henry shouted out.
Their words however fell on deaf ears, not being able to make it through the fog clouding Eodum's mind. The mumbles only managed to swirl and disturb the clouding of Eodum's mind, barely registering at all. Another growl followed by more creaking occurred with the growing hunger Eodum felt.
[You are starving -10 Hp]
"Damn! Henry, we have to leave!" Sheila yelled over the cacophony of madness caused by Eodum.
Henry protested to Sheila, doing his best to hang on to the walls so as to not be pulled away and consumed by Eodum, "What about Eodum!?"
"He'll be fine, we however, will not if we hang around!" Sheila countered.
Henry faced Eodum and then turned back towards Sheila, "Fine, let's go!"
Fighting against the gravity, Henry and Sheila took step by step out of the inn. With each step, straining their bodies against the pull of Eodum's gravity. They emerged out of the inn, getting far enough away from Eodum that walking away became considerably easier. They took lighter steps, getting an even farther distance away from Eodum.
Behind them, the inn began to collapse. The walls caved in and the roof fell to the floor. Tendrils of darkness shot from the rubble, dragging pieces into Eodum. Henry and Sheila watched, but suddenly, they felt weak. Henry felt his flames die down and flicker back to normal. His ring of ice crumbled away, and soon his ring of water followed. Sheila felt her connection to Gnos die down into its normal state, and the mist around her dissipated into the air. The pull they felt on themselves also dissolved with only the gravity of the planet affecting them now.
The tentacles of darkness retreated into the ruins of the inn, returning back to their main body. A clawed paw emerged from the inn and gripped the collapsed side of a wall. Another one popped out and dug into the broken roof. With the labored effort, Eodum pulled itself out of the wreckage and shook the rubble off of its coat.
It wobbled out of the demolished building, stone and wood tumbling down the pile. With unsteady legs, Eodum arrived on the earth below. Looking around, the rat could see the destruction the necromancers had caused. Bodies lay on the ground, some from the undead, some from the townsfolk. A few of the chests of the bodies raised up and down in a steady manner, possibly from passing out. With the battle done, flies flew into the town, regurgitating acid onto the body to dissolve it, only to use their straw-like proboscises to slurp up the mess.
Henry looked down on Eodum and asked, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Eodum nodded, "I'm fine."
Sheila followed up, "Good because we have to move. We weren't supposed to draw attention, and while this town wasn't really affiliated with anyone, the destruction of it will still probably draw heads."
As Sheila finished her sentence, a slow and quiet beating sounded on the horizon. Looking from where it came from, Void Horse could see three figures. One was on their rightmost side and was a lightly armored lizard man. Their emerald green tail swayed back and forth, contradicting the shark-like tail of the large bear they were sitting on.
The person on the leftmost side was a bulky rock-person who sat on a huge rabbit made of stone with vines growing all over it. The vines had purple flowers sprouting from them, and tendrils of vines and flowers seemed to hover in midair around the rabbit and golem.
Finally, a being of tentacles with a single large eye in the middle rode on the back of a winged serpent. On the end of each of its tentacles was a three-fingered claw. The being was furred, and its eye appeared to have a whitish-silver iris.
The demon army is here.
