The undead took an uncertain step backwards, the wood creaking under its unbalanced weight. Its eyes were being wiped at by its tentacles. One tentacle pulled back, revealing its shrunken pupil. The pupil darted back and forth, trying to find its enemies. The necromancer's similarly rubbed at their eyes, curses fountaining from one of them.
Henry was fine because of his lack of proper eyes, and Sheila was knocked from her stupor from the surprising flash. The three regrouped, knowing that they were outmatched but also understanding that running away wasn't an option. They would be chased, and the undead was startling and alarmingly fast. Possibly faster than them at its top speed with a few buffs.
At the moment, Eodum was the only unharmed member of their group, and the only one who could put up a good fight. Eodum darted into the shadows, melting away into it. The shining spots over its body seemed to recede as darkness filled Eodum's body. The small light of its eyes was all that was left, unnoticeable to all.
A small portal opened up near it, twinkles of light announcing its position. The twinkling stars seemed to shift and distort and move as the void portal bubbled to life. Small probing tendrils reached from it, searching for Eodum's body. One probe made contact with the rat, seemingly alerting the others as they all rushed to join into Eodum's body. The void spiraled into Eodum before the portal was abruptly shut. Then, a familiar, eerie, and deep voice came from inside Eodum's mind.
'Hello, Eodum.' The voice sounded and bounced around in Eodum's head.
Eodum felt the small migraine already set in to the very thought and realization of the void's presence. Eodum greeted in its mind, 'Hello.'
'It appears you've encountered a strong foe, yes?' The void asked with a hint of joy in its voice.
Eodum nodded mentally, 'Yes, I'm too weak to face it on my own.'
'I understand, then let the fight begin.' As soon as the void finished its sentence, tendrils of glittering darkness shot from Eodum. They fired out, impaling parts of the undead, black, slimy ooze leaking from the wounds. A groan and shout parted from the enraged undead's lungs, and it reached out for the tendrils, still somewhat blinded from the previous explosion of light. The undead gripped at the tendrils, but it quickly separated into many wire-like tentacles, quickly retracting back to the shadows Eodum stood in. The two other tendrils followed suit and fused back into Eodum's body, leaving the undead with three holes in its body: one in its left leg and two in its torso.
A roar boomed from the undead as it rushed at the shadow the tendrils escaped to, but it was suddenly flung upwards into the ceiling. The ceiling cracked under the force of the undead, unused to supporting things from the direction in which the undead came. A slight area around the undead shimmered a bare purple, and everything in that area similarly fell up.
The clattering of furniture against the ceiling and the undead was soon outpowered by the roar of the undead. In another fit of rage, it started swinging its arms and pincers around. They impacted with the floor, ceiling, furniture, and any other objects in the path of its rage. Its eyes shot about, trying to look for the origin of the attack, but in the end, it couldn't find anything. It shot its tentacles out, reaching into each shadow, probing around to find anything to crush.
A shadowy blob was forced to rush out from the shadows, severing a few tentacles on the way. Black ooze cascaded from the severed parts before the tentacles regenerated at alarming speeds. The purplish area holding up the undead flickered and faded away, returning back to what one could consider normal in heaps of blood, parts, and bodies. The furniture, corpses, and undead soon found themselves battling gravity in the other direction. The previously grounded objects went into a freefall, hurtling towards the ground before impacting with the ground. Wood broke and splintered, pieces of wood jutting into the air.
The undead rose to rocky legs before steadying itself and standing up. Its eyes began flicking here and there, finally focusing on its previous two victims. It rushed forth, charging at Henry and Sheila, claws prepared for bashing and stabbing. Eodum watched it run towards its companions, coming to the realization of its plan. Eodum hurried from the shadow, coming to the side of the undead. Tendrils shot from its body, wrapping around the undead's legs in an attempt to stop it.
The undead stumbled slightly, tripping over the tendrils wrapped around its legs, tearing apart the limb, and catching itself before the process repeated itself over and over again. Eodum felt its Hp dropping with each tear of its limbs, but its attempt to stop the idea worked. The undead's focus shifted from Henry and Sheila back to Eodum. With its target finally in sight and quite near it, it slammed down with its log-like arm, swinging it wildly with only brute strength in mind.
The arm sped towards Eodum like a bat, but Eodum dodged out of the way. The floor beneath the swinging arm shattered and splintered, shrapnel impacting Eodum's body. A hiss of slight pain came from Eodum as it braced itself for battle.
The main necromancer clicked their tongue, annoyance clear on their face. They inhaled and began chanting, and soon after, all the other necromancers followed. Their chants mixed into a unified tongue and an energy seemed to fill the undead. The undead opened its mouth, jaw opening far wider than should be physically possible. Rows of decayed and ruined teeth lined the mouth of the undead, but the part that was most noticeable was a small glow in the back of its throat. A hum emitted from the undead's throat, and the light got brighter and brighter. Then, a large beam of lightning and electricity shot from the undead's gaping maw.
