Somewhere to the northwest was Windmill Cove. It was a very wide, crescent-shaped island with a single entrance for Link's boat. Still windmills were lined all along the island, facing the center. Despite their great distance away from Link, his Wind Arrows could make the flight and strike the windmills, spinning them with a strong gust. After shooting them all, Link could feel a strong breeze blowing around him.
"…?" Link could feel a rumbling as his boat rotated. It was slow at first, but was steadily picking up. He had never felt like this since…since… "Aaaaaahhh…!" And just as he had feared, a cyclone raised from the sea, and his boat went flying into the sky. "AAAAAAAHHHH!" Link was pressed to the deck, watching as the clouds grew ever closer! He had been used to this feeling, having once used cyclones to "warp" across the ocean, but would he actually be placed upon the clouds?!
Finally, the hero was pushed directly through the clouds—water filled his lungs, Link gurgling. Fortunately, he resurfaced, gasping and hacking the white water out. He could feel sunlight above his head… and his eyes opened to an amazing new world. (Play "Cloud Tops" from Minish Cap!)
Miles beyond his wake was an entire sea of white. He was above the clouds! His boat was afloat on an ocean entirely made of clouds. Ayri jumped out; Link had already changed her design to resemble an angel, speaking in prayer. "O Master, I come bearing good news. I can safely ascertain that we are upon the White Sea. There are two types of clouds in the sky: Sea Cloud, upon which we sail, and Island Cloud, on which we can land. All kinds of creatures live in the sky. However, I advise extreme caution, for the waves are always changing. By using your Wind Arrow in conjunction with the ship, it will be able to jump across gaps."
"Thanks, Ayri. Then let's start exploring!"
Link decided to sail in the southeast direction, hoping to go above where Clockwork Island was. He avoided large cloud masses that acted as icebergs, and there were huge Octoroks that inflated their heads like balloons, trying to blast missiles at Link. He saw the white fins of sharks cutting around the surface, but Link defeated the Sky Sharks with his boomerang before they could have a bite. There were several ledges and holes in the clouds that Link cautiously maneuvered around, but he could jump a few to snag some floating Rupees.
He could see a great many Sky Islands that seemed like they had their fair share of stuff, including flora and animals, so Link was overwhelmed at where to start. For now, he focused on reaching the island near the center of the sea, approximately above Clockwork. The island was remarkably huge and seemed to have a town of small buildings. The inhabitants appeared human at first, until Link noticed their angel wings, and their hair was tied into rather big buns at the tops of their heads.
"Whoa… are these people actual angels?!"
"O Master, these are the fair Nimbi tribe, beings native to the sky. Rarely do they socialize with the land-dwellers, but they are fairly close to the Rito. This appears to be their capital town, High Heights."
"Hold on, the Postman had wings… He must be a Nimbi, too. …Heck, I'm wearing my new mask." Link put on the Cupid Cloud, believing it helped him look the part of a sky being. Still, as he wandered around town, he couldn't help but feel he looked weird to the Nimbis' eyes, either because of the mask or that he didn't have wings. To his relief, he discovered a Sheikah Warp, and was now able to warp back to the sky whenever he pleased.
It was then he saw a Nimbi man fly up to him in a hurry, curiosity on his features. He looked to be in his early 20's. "Hey, sorry if this comes out as awkward, but what kind of creature are you? Can I draw you?"
"I guess you could, but I'm a human." Link removed his mask.
"Oh, just a mask. Dang it."
"Heheh, you're an artist?"
"I'm a student at Ienzo's Art Institute. I'm doing an assignment where we have to fly around and draw accurate depictions of the creatures we find. Sigh, it's seriously aggravating. I still need three more creatures and the assignment's due tomorrow."
"Well, I hope you make it. Sounds pretty fun to be honest, getting to explore." Of course, Link wouldn't mention that was his profession.
"Yeah, but thing is, there's this really condescending girl in my class. She's a fairy, so she gets to fly wherever she wants and hardly be noticed by the wildlife. But what's weird is, she hasn't showed up to class in the last week. I heard she was heading to Cloud Cuccoland, but I wonder what's holding her up…"
"Where's that at?"
"Kind of east-northeast of here. Why, are you looking for her?"
"I really just need an excuse to explore. And find masks."
Side Quest: Spree's Picture Plea
Link sailed to the indicated direction. He was attacked by Skytails, which were serpent-bodied creatures with light-green wings and pinchers. He shot arrows at their bulbous tails to defeat them, and he collected their wings and antennae as rewards. Link came upon a mountain island that seemed nicely rounded at the top, with a post sticking out from it that had a statue of a Cucco. (End song.)
There was no doubt it was Cloud Cuccoland, with Cuccos happily grazing the many ledges along the sloped mountain. Link docked on the shore, but the small ledges leading up higher were a bit too high to jump, and too small to fit. Link had to become a Minish and ride one of the Cuccos, which could flap its wings to make high jumps onto those small ledges. Link arrived at the next large ground, which had giant flowers. When he resized, those flowers grew faces and attacked him, spinning their petals like blades. The Pansies were easy prey to Link's sword.
There was a fireplace that Link could light with an arrow, but the updraft was too small for his Rito wings. He shrank to mount the Cucco and used its smaller wings to carry him up. He would then have to jump more small ledges with holes above them; Big Cluckers would poke out of those holes in attempt to chomp the Cucco. After crossing to the next large foothold, Link saw a pool of honey and bees swarming around it. But what really caught his eye was the blue, humanoid creature trapped in the middle of the honey. "Hmmm…" Link reverted to human form and shot a Wind Arrow to blow all the bees away.
Afterwards, he stepped across the honey and looked down at the trapped creature: it was a six-inch tall fairy girl in a light-blue dress that matched her hair. "Y-You're a human. Please, help me…" Link carefully scooped his hands into the honey and pulled her out. "Could you take me down to the ocean? I need to wash this off…"
Link slid down the sloped mountain and returned to the shore, gently holding the fairy in the cloud water as she washed the honey off. "So, what happened?"
"I was on my way here to find the legendary Gold Cucco. On the way, I saw a strange person walking across the sea. She was wearing a scary mask and she looked like an ice creature. I flew over wanting to draw her, but then she saw me and flew to snatch me out of the air. I tried to explain myself, but she froze my sketchbook and destroyed it, and she brought me to this island and trapped me in that honey! I was so afraid of the bees that I couldn't bring myself to squirm free…"
"That's terrible… Why would she do something so cruel to an innocent art student?"
"How did you know I'm an art student?"
"One of your classmates mentioned that you were going here, but you never came back. He also said you were condescending…" Link smiled awkwardly.
"Oh…" The fairy felt like she knew who. "Sigh, this is the worst. All my sketches are gone. All my hard work… Even if I buy another sketchbook, I can't just draw 20 creatures from memory. I'm going to fail…"
"Maybe I can help. I have a lot of pictures saved on my Sheikah Slate." Link brought up the compendium of all the monsters he snapped pictures of on his journey.
"Whoa…Is this a Deluxe Picto Box?! These images are incredible!"
"Yep, I'm a pro pictographer. Among other things."
"But I'm supposed to draw from the real things, not just pictures…sigh, what does it matter. I'm desperate at this point. Let's hurry back to High Heights so I can buy a new sketchbook. Oh, my name is Spree. What's yours?"
"I go by many names, but most know me as Link~"
Link brought Spree back to High Heights, telling her to meet him back on his boat after buying a sketchbook. Once she returned, Spree studied the images on his slate. She drew the Rain Chu, Mothuking, Solrun, Throwmaster, Dead Hand, Cant, Twilight Ray, Shadow Beast, Shadow Bari, Crook Crab, Skytail, Floormaster, Tropical Wiggler and Flutter, Gyorg, Octoroll, Pebblits and Gemlits, Lightspeed Bubbles, and Poes.
Link was patient as Spree drew each monster with as much detail as possible. "Sigh…I feel bad for cheating like this, but I already worked so hard… It's not my fault that I was assaulted!"
"Yeah, I'm real sorry that happened to you…"
"Thanks… Hey, I think I'd like to give you something, too, for what you did for me."
"To be honest, I'm sort of collecting masks. For a project of my own, hehe…"
"I think I know just what to give you! Be right back!"
Link waited once more for Spree to return from a shop. He later saw what seemed to be a Picto Box flying his direction, with several designed lenses along the sides of it. It landed on the deck as Spree flew out from under it. "I got this from the school's souvenir shop. A lot of Pictographers like to use these for their pictures."
"Hee hee, I'll make good use of it!" Link grinned, thinking he would look funny with that on.
You got the Picto Mask! When used with your Camera Rune, it can enhance the distance of the zoom-in! You can also swap different lenses to add special effects to your pictures!
"Thanks again for your help, Link. Hope to see you later!" Spree flew away.
"Ahh…now I have 10 masks. Ayri, let's head for the Snowcap Wastes. Avis needs to be stopped as soon as possible, before she hurts anybody else."
The hero sailed directly to the north. There was a region of the ocean that was nearly void of clouds, where he had to carefully jump his boat across small, singular clouds. He then steered the boat carefully across a snaky river. The sight of the Blue Sea thousands of meters below him was incredible, the islands appearing so tiny from this view. To think if he became a Rito, he could glide down to any of those islands. It was certainly something worth playing with later. Large, faced clouds called Ty-foos were trying to blow Link off the river, but his Wind Arrows made short work of them.
Once back on the main sea, great waves of clouds were rising and washing from ahead of him. Again, his Wind Arrows could split them open, though sometimes Sky Sharks ambushed him. As he cut through more waves, Link could see an incredible mountain taking shape, and even this very sky became covered in clouds. To think the atmosphere went even higher beyond this.
Snow began to fall upon the young hero, who readied his Fire Arrow for warmth. The White Sea would connect with a snow-covered shore, and if Link hadn't noticed the difference in form, he might have driven his boat up on land. He docked and climbed off onto the snowy shore, shivering and squinting his eyes against the freezing wind. "My dearest Link, it appears we have arrived. We are at the Snowcap Wastes, the coldest and highest mountain on Termina."
"Somewhere on this mountain, we'll find Avis, and we may learn the truth behind Araea's message… It would be nice if we could stop her right now and save the world, but my past adventures never ended that easily." (Play "Tantal" from Xenoblade 2.)
Stage 11: Snowcap Wastes
Mission: Put an end to the endless winter.
Link went up a wide flight of stairs, leading to a wall, in which he had to follow a narrow path around the right side. Careful not to slip off the ledge, he brought his hands up to protect from the aggressive blizzard. The path led to a wider ground, but his journey would continue to take him upwards. The wind prevented Link from going up a snowy slope; he could shoot a Wind Arrow against the wind in order to halt it, and he could melt the snow with Fire Arrows to make the ground less slippery. He crossed up to more stable ground as White Wolfos leapt from the snow. The majestic wolves pranced around Link before lunging at him, but he swat them out of the air with his blade.
Link began to pass by ancient ruins. The mountain radiated with an air of misery and hopelessness, carried in each and every blast of wind. For thousands of years, this mountain probably never knew a visitor as determined and passionate as Link. Even as giant snowballs rolled down to banish the hero, his Fire Arrows were more powerful. Link reached the top of this slope, leading to a ledge. To his left was a mountain, the side of which seemed to slope down at a steep angle, and was very wide. There was a Spinner track that would carry him up into the blizzard, so he mounted the top and bravely flew higher.
Link could barely see the track ahead, but he could make out the glow of Freezards that would freeze him off. He shot them down ahead of time, and the track appeared to be winding and going up the mountain that the track had started beside. A large snowball was set at the top of this mountain, and the track would bring Link into it. "Uh-oh! Here we GOOOOO!" Link held his breath and was submerged into the snowball. It rolled off its perch and down the steep slope, growing larger in the process. The snowball rolled off a ramp at the bottom and flew across a vast chasm. It crashed and smashed against the cliff of the next mountain, Link falling into a pile of snow.
He fought free of the snow and proceeded along a path to his left. Link would be required to sidle along a thin ledge, so he used the Fire Arrow to make it dry and be able to support him better. Bundles of snow would fall from above, so Link would avoid them. He was brought to a stable path that curved around the cliff, but would find a dead end as a great chasm separated him from the next mountain. The ground beneath him had an eye underneath the snow, so he used the Lens of Truth. Invisible ice platforms became clear to him, so Link began to jump them. They were slippery, but he managed, and the highest platform would bring him in gliding range with the ledge for the Rito.
"The problem is the wind is blowing against me… Wait a minute!" Link got his Wind Waker and conducted the Wind's Requiem. He made the wind blow in the intended direction, then he could glide to the ledge. A ruined arch stood around a stairway leading up through the mountain. The stairs grew wider, and there were large, horned statues rested on some of them. The statues had black circles on their fronts, from which green eyes would grow: they were Armos, which would bounce at Link with spiked sides. He simply needed to shoot their eyes with arrows, then run to stab their rear cores. One of the statues along the right had a hollow center, but it did nothing.
Beyond the stairs, Link was greeted with a field littered with sharp, deadly icicles. To his horror, there were corpses impaled with some icicles: based on their frostbitten skin, could they be Frosolites? They had long ears like Hylians, snowflake designs covering their mostly naked bodies, and their dead, pale eyes resembled snowflakes as well. Link melted the icicles with Fire Arrows, but more would suddenly rain down and replace them.
To cross this field, Link had to go Yiga and Ninja Leap the targets on ruined pillars. He leapt to the first one—icicles tried to shoot down and hit him, so he jumped to the next target quickly. They would come again, and Link had to quickly unfreeze the next target before jumping to it. He unfroze a pile of snow to find the next, shot a boulder with Earth Arrow to unblock the one after that, hurriedly leaping to avoid the raining icicles before he was finally at safe ground.
To his relief, he found a Sheikah Warp, and was now able to return to this spot whenever he pleased. Furthermore, beyond that warp was a great, magical door with a mask symbol and 'x10' next to it. Link walked up to it: the 10 masks in his possession allowed the door to be able to open. Link did a little victory dance and took a bow. Past the door was another stairway, and nothing to impede Link's journey up. "?!" A figure was at the top of the stairs: her mask made her distinct as Avis herself. There was a gust of wind, and Avis vanished in a blizzard.
Determination fueling him, Link bolted up the stairs. Once at the top, Link drew his sword, bracing himself for a sneak attack. He found himself in a village of beautiful, glittering ice houses… or rather, what remained of them. The inhabitants who once lived in this village lay dead. Only Avis stood alone beside the frozen fountain in the center. (Pause song.)
Link felt his heart sink as he looked around the village. This mountain already felt dead and hopeless, but now it felt even worse. …Link marched up to the masked girl and firmly asked, "Avis, aren't these your people?! Did you do this?!"
"Ignorant human… these people were massacred." The girl turned and slowly removed her mask. Her cold eyes resembled snowflakes like the other Frosolites, except shaped like Sheikah Eyes, and dark-blue teardrops were aligned and frozen beneath them. "I saw it happen with my own eyes…"
The Frosolites were screaming as a horde of invaders charged into their home. They were tall, lanky figures in wooden armor and tribal masks (resembling Odolwa). With their long, flaming swords, they sliced and stabbed any Frosolite in sight, be they infant or elder, man or woman, as parts of their bodies thawed and decayed from the heat. "KILL THE SPAWNS OF MAJORA! KILL MAJORA'S SERVANTS!"
Avis's young eyes absorbed the gruesome sights, her mind unable to comprehend or contain it. Then suddenly, she was snatched up by a woman, who rushed into the nearby house, opened a secret hatch in the floor, and placed her inside. The woman Frosolite looked down at Avis with concerned green eyes before closing the hatch.
Avis froze underneath the hatch. She remained completely still, only listening. She waited… and waited… and finally, the noises died down. She waited longer still… several hours… until she mustered the courage to climb out of the cellar. She walked outside, finding all her brethren dead. Breathing heavily, she walked around, hoping at least one of them was still alive. …She saw a Frosolite barely moving and ran to them, but a sword remained stabbed into their stomach. Avis recognized her as the woman who had protected her.
"Gueh…so, they didn't find you… I'm glad…" the woman choked.
"Why…Why did this happen?! W-Why did those people…?!"
"It was because…it was because they feared the return of Majora. They feared us… for what your mother did."
"My… mother?" Avis gasped. "Who was my mother? How do you know…?"
"I knew the Winter Maiden… while she was still around… I can tell that you possess the same aura… that she did… Your mother acquired powers similar to the Masked Demon, Majora… and created a powerful mask… But now that she's gone… her power belongs to you…"
"M…Me…?"
"You have… to carry on her legacy… You must… continue her work… and avenge us…" Those were her last words.
"One thousand years ago, the Maidens earned their powers from the gods." Avis began. "500 years ago, my mother betrayed the Maidens and was destroyed. But by then, I was already born. Due to my slow aging, by the time I was old enough to comprehend things, my Sheikah father had already died. In time, the other Sheikah thought it best for me to live with my own kind. So, I was adopted by a family in this town. The Sheikah had never told me who my mother was… and as a result, I never knew who I was. They only said that when I was older, I would learn the truth… and on that day, last Christmas, I did."
"So, you're doing all these horrible things because you think your mother wanted you to?!"
"And what do you have to argue? The reincarnation of the hero who slew Majora…"
"Avis, this Sheikah Slate had a message from your mother, to the Fall Maiden. She was trying to tell Evea something, and it made Evea think she was innocent. There's something we don't know, between your mother and that mask. I need to get into the Blizzard Temple. Lead me to the temple and we can learn the truth, Avis."
"Avis, don't listen to this vermin." The mask's blue eyes glowed. "He is merely trying to slay you, no different than those beings from months ago."
Link grit his teeth. "So, the mask is alive after all! …Avis, I don't think this is what your parents wanted!"
"As if I'm going to listen to you!" Avis donned her mask and levitated, raising the ice-made Wind Waker. "You may have rescued the other Maidens, but my mask has already absorbed portions of their power, and this Wind Waker has allowed me to attain total control of them. I'll watch from the comfort of the temple as my Frosoknights kill you!" With a wave of the baton, she flew backward. (Resume "Tantal" theme!)
Link dashed after the princess, going past the frozen fountain, beyond the village, and going down a flight of stairs. He was running across a field of wide tiles made of a strange stone. "HUH?!" Link gasped as an enormous face glowed in the sky above him. He realized he was running toward a colossal structure hidden in the blizzard… and that a gigantic, stone giant had detached itself from the exterior. It shook the mountain as it stomped toward Link. The little hero ran around trying to find a weak spot, but his heart nearly stopped when the giant attempted to squash him.
"Master, target identified as the Grand Guardian. This titan has no weak points on its structure, but it is this being's consciousness which seals the Blizzard Temple. I would suggest a retreat until we can determine the secret to toppling it. It is not designed to follow us beyond the temple's grounds."
"Took the words right outta me!" Link dashed away like a frightened little mouse. He went back up the stairs, turning to see the giant return to its station. Link headed to the west side of town, jumping down some stairs into a playground, where dead children were suspended to a swing-set, and one was stabbed against the slide. But as if these horrible sights weren't enough, the dead Frosolites brimmed with a dark aura that caused their corpses to rise like Redeads. Link stayed away and maneuvered around the zombies; he didn't feel comfortable with defiling their corpses any further.
Link exited the village, crossing a snowfield as he could make out the glow of a pillar-like structure, resembling the material of the Guardian. But from around that pillar came what appeared to be a centaur: its skin was a grayish-blue and its mane a pale pink. The small face under its massive horns glared at Link. "Master, that is a Lynel! It is among the mightiest warriors of the demons! It is as fast as a horse, a master archer, and its claymore deals tremendous damage!"
The Lynel drew a giant bow, sparking with Thunder Arrows. Link dodged them with a gasp, and he became a Yiga to maneuver better in the snow. The beast charged, claymore ready, and took a mighty swing, Link ducking as he could feel the gust graze his hair. Link made his way to the pillar, and it seemed to have a lightning symbol under an empty hole. He deduced that he needed to trick the Lynel into shooting that spot, but the beast would not be fooled. It charged at Link for a swing of the claymore, so the hero dodged and ran from the pillar. Only then did it draw the bow and try to shoot more Thunder Arrows.
"Hey, I just thought of something." Link put on the Melon Helmet that he got from Bethana. He was able to compress his body into the helmet and roll around, but because the ground was so snowy, his melon was able to pick up the snow and roll into a giant ball. He was slower as a result, and the Lynel looked with confusion. The beast decided to shoot an arrow to electrocute Link through the mass of water, but the hero had already pierced out of it and was rolling around some more. He became another bundle of snow and rolled toward the Lynel, prompting the beast to destroy it with its claymore, but Link had flown out over its head, going Yiga as he landed on the Lynel's back.
He maintained a firm grasp as the beast roared and kicked its hind legs. It tried to shoot its arrows backwards, so Link compelled him to turn around, back facing the pillar, as the Lynel shot Shock Arrows into it. The pillar was powered with energy, causing another slot to open up. Link hopped off the Lynel and ran to collect what was inside: it appeared to be the "forehead" of a mask.
Link used the Melon Helmet to make a quick getaway across the field, evading the Lynel's arrows and returning to the town park. He could use his helmet to maneuver around the Frosolite zombies. He rolled toward the east side of town, where he had to climb narrow stairs to segmented parts of town. Frosolites tried to attack him on the stairs, so Link had no choice but to strike them. They would temporarily collapse, giving him time to run past. Once at the top of this area, Link arrived at a large sparkly building believed to be Town Hall.
There were Frostnuts guarding the hall, Darknuts created from Avis's power. The two knights marched toward Link. His Fire Arrows could melt their front armor of ice, but their frozen capes protected their weak backsides. Link parried behind them and quickly shot fire at those capes, allowing him to stab the weak spots and detach the armor. The Frostnuts drew ice daggers and attacked swiftly, so Link countered them in Yiga form, using his own swift strikes to fell the knights.
Link entered Town Hall, but in place of the mayor was another large Armos. A mask piece was splayed in the statue's mouth, but it was sucked in as it came to life. Link shot the eye to stun the Armos, but there was no weak point at its back. …Instead, there was a tiny hole. Minish Link entered the hole and climbed a ladder to a small room with a lever. He flipped the lever, and he could feel the statue shut down. Link resized outside and took the eye segment of the mask from the Armos' mouth.
When Link returned to the town square, it seemed Avis was sending White Eagles down from the temple. Their feathers were icicles and they glowed a majestic white, but Link wouldn't hesitate in shooting the avians down. Link returned to the west playground and journeyed north of it, finding a chasm with updrafts. Rito Link flew across the drafts, but with the natural wind fighting against him, he repeatedly shot Wind Arrows forward to thwart its attempts. He flew to a grouping of drafts near a cliffside, from which Bokoblin Archers were trying to shoot him and White Eagles fought him in midair.
Link had to shoot Wind Arrows at three fans below him, repeatedly for each one, but the adamant eagles would keep appearing to impede him. Using the best of his aerial archery, Link shot down the Bokoblin first, then cleared away the eagles enough to where he could quickly shoot the fans. The fans created an even stronger updraft, blowing Link up to an opening in the wall. He flew inside to a room with three pedestals, all of which seemed to hold the "jaw" of the mask. Link's Lens of Truth found that one of the jaws was glowing. He deduced that as the correct one and took it.
Link connected the pieces of the mask. The lines along the mask glowed, resembling the head of the Grand Guardian.
You got the Giant's Mask! This mask will make you into a powerful giant, but its power will only resonate around other Giant Masks. Also, using the mask will consume an enormous amount of stamina, so have extra rations ready.
Link smirked and eagerly returned to the village, then made his way northward to the Guardian's grounds. The face of the colossal being became visible through the blizzard again, but this time, Link was fearless as the mighty being marched toward him. He slapped the Giant's Mask on: his heart pulsated painfully, for Link could feel it inflated. His muscles, his bones, his blood, everything was expanding. The sensation was more painful than any other mask transformation, but the results left him satisfied.
Link was now at equal size with the Grand Guardian. His sword and items hadn't grown with him, but his fists were enough to suffice. He punched the Guardian's jaw, the Guardian swung its left fist, which Link grabbed in his right palm. Link kicked the right knee, toppling the beast, then he stomped his boot against the back of its head. He was able to indent the giant's head, and the glow around its body faded. As a result, the power in Link's mask faded, and he shrank back to his normal size in a second.
Link had landed in the crater left by his boot in the Guardian's head. He compared the size of the crater with his boot currently and sported a proud smile. …The mountain rumbled once more as Link gazed up at a strip of light, cutting down the structure's center. The structure slowly opened like a door… it would be a very narrow gap by giant standards, but it was much wide enough for him to fit through. "This must be the temple…it's time…"
Link ate some of Koko's food to replenish the stamina he had lost from using such enormous power. Afterwards, he walked across the Guardian's fallen body and approached the temple entrance. "Ayri… the truth behind Araea and the mask is in here, right?"
"I can say for certain that Avis is in here as well. If both Avis and the 'truth' are both in here, would she not have the 'truth'?"
"Maybe there's a place she never looked. There has to be something, definitely. And we will find the truth, for her sake! We'll save both her and the world…"
With these words to give him courage, Link marched into the temple. The first thing on his mind was: "This is a Blizzard Temple? …This wasn't anything like I expected…"
