Diego never meddled with Pablo's business so why is he here and all his men couldn't have snitched on him, only the trusted ones knew about this operation and they are all here. The only one here who he didn't trust was Tiana.
He walked up to Tiana and grabbed her hair harshly and pulled it
"How do you know Pablo tell me"
"I don't know what your talking about"
Tiana knew Pablo but she didn't understand was Pablo here to save her, was that the gunshots she was hearing, that means Pablo doesn't work for Diego and she accused him wrong. Tiana's thought was interrupted by a harsh blow on the face.
"You b*tch I'll kill you before he gets to me"
Diego pushed her to the ground and pulled out his gun and was about to fire it when he saw a red dot on him.
"Who would dare aim at him"
The imperial army were one of Pablo's junior army but compared to Diego's underground army they were undefeatable.
Diego widened his eyes, he couldn't believe it his top men wasted by junior recruits. Three men strolled towards them through the mist of Diego's men.
"Weren't they scared we could kill them", Diego thought.
Raymond, Mitch and Barry strolled towards Diego. Barry aimed at him and was prepared to shoot if he laid so much as a finger on her.
Raymond remained emotionless but he was angry and disappointed at himself, he was asked to protect her and he failed. If anything happened to her Pablo would be devastated. While Mitch was so angry how could he try to kill her.
"If anything happens to a hair on her head I will torture you all death will seem like a blessing". Pablo's words rang on their head and they were watching her been threatened with a gun.
"Drop the gun", Raymond said
"What do you want", Diego couldn't help but ask.
"I'm guessing by now you already have an idea what we want"
"She's mine"
"I'm not really in the mood to argue so let's get this over with, let her go and maybe I'll let you leave with a few of your men"
Diego knew that his offer was a really good one because he usually doesn't negotiate with people, he must be in a good mood.
"Why does Pablo want her or is it you that does"
*Boom*
Raymond shot one of Diego's legs.
"What made you think you can talk to me like were acquaintances"
"Ray let me teach him a lesson", Mitch suggested.
"If he still refuses my generous offer then you turn this whole place into a war zone"
Diego was hurt and was loosing a lot of blood but he couldn't show it because that would make them satisfied. He knew these threat wasn't an empty one, unlike Raymond who was always calm, Mitch was the opposite. Mitch rarely gets angry but when he does he's a demon who doesn't know how to stop until he's satisfied.
"Take her, but know this Tiana this isn't over"
"That's it maybe I really should bring hell to you", Mitch was pissed off.
Diego saw Mitch pull out his gun and knew what was about to happen. He ran to his car and tried to dodge Mitch's bullets.Seeing their boss run, the survivers of the shoot out started getting in their cars and driving away as well. Raymond neither stopped Mitch nor joined him he just let him do whatever he liked, When they were all gone the imperial army started getting in their cars preparing to leave. Ray walked over to Tiana to check on her.
"Are you hurt"
"No, I'm fine thank you"
Ray rolled his eyes at her stubbornness. If only she was this stubborn when Diego was hitting her.
"Can you stand, Take my hand"
He helped her up but she wasn't balanced, she was about to fall but Ray caught her with his hand around her waist.
"Be careful"
Which was unexpected by Tiana. Once she was able to stand she took one step away from him but Ray wasn't bothered so he just straightened himself up.
"Young master Pablo has said you should come with us back to the Greene mansion"
"Greene I'm guessing that's Pablo's last name, but I'm sorry I can't come with you"
Raymond felt like his head was going to pop how could someone so stubborn be so stupid as well.
"Okay fine I won't force you to come, but I presume it's because you like being in danger right"
"That's not what I mean"
"Yes I get it you love the excitement that comes with putting your life at risk", Ray said sarcastically.
"How can you even say that I barely know you guys and here you are asking me to come with you"
"If you don't want to come with me that's fine, but I'll advise you to come because out here your life is at risk.
