Black Dragon
"Well-done, Zhian," Zuka praised, his voice filled with approval as he looked upon his subordinate with pride. "You've managed to capture one of those Blue Mooners. That's very good of you. You just have to keep playing him until we get his brother killed. And after that, we'll know what to do with him. Make sure to keep him under your watch because if he's around, we won't be able to kill his so-called brother. I'm proud of you once again, Zhian."
"Thank you so much, sir," Zhian replied, a satisfied smile spreading across his face at Zuka's words of commendation. "I will continue with my hard work. They're just so vulnerable and can easily be fooled. That fool really thinks I love him," Zhian chuckled lightly, his laughter laced with a hint of malice. "How stupid of him."
As Zhian crossed his legs and took a sip of his wine, a sense of satisfaction washed over him. He relished in the feeling of power and control, knowing that he was playing a crucial role in Zuka's plans to dismantle the Blue Mooners.
"We are going to win this battle for sure, and I will take over what's meant to be mine," Zuka declared proudly, his voice resonating with confidence and determination.
"All we need is for Velverosa to bring us Lucky," Zara added, her tone cool and calculated as she entered the room where Zuka and Zhian were seated. "After collecting the key, we're going to kill him because he will be a very big obstacle for us. And after that, we'll perform the ritual, and everything will be ours."
"Yes, my dear, all will be ours," Zuka affirmed, a sinister grin spreading across his face as he shared a knowing glance with Zara. Together, they laughed, the sound echoing with the anticipation of victory and the promise of ultimate power.
Weeks Later.
Zhian and Ziyad were enjoying a peaceful night's sleep, wrapped in each other's embrace, until Zhian's phone suddenly rang, jolting him awake.
Frowning, he reached for his phone to check the caller ID, surprised by the late-night interruption. To his surprise, it was Master Zuka on the line. Carefully extricating himself from the bed without disturbing Ziyad, who remained peacefully asleep, Zhian made his way to the veranda, ensuring privacy for the conversation.
With the cool night air brushing against his skin, Zhian answered the call, his senses on high alert as he prepared to receive whatever instructions or demands Zuka had for him. The moon cast its silvery glow over the serene scene, contrasting sharply with the tension that hung in the air as Zhian listened intently to Zuka's voice on the other end of the line.
"Hello, Master Zuka. Why did you call at this hour? Is everything alright?" Zhian inquired, glancing over his shoulder to ensure that Ziyad remained undisturbed in his slumber.
"Is there a problem with me calling at this hour?" Zuka's voice crackled over the line, a hint of amusement evident in his tone. "Oh, my apologies, I forgot you're with your baby boy," he chuckled.
"It's not about that," Zhian replied tersely, his expression growing more serious. "You know it's risky to call at this hour. He might suspect something." The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on Zhian's mind as he tried to navigate the delicate balance between his loyalty to Zuka and his desire to protect Ziyad from any potential harm or suspicion.
"Oh, you're right," Zhian acknowledged, his mind already racing with the implications of Zuka's plan. "Let me get straight to the point," Zuka continued. "We have to kidnap Abigail and bring her here if we want to get the other key from that guy named Lucky. Abigail is taking things too slow. After kidnapping Abigail, we'll send him a message that she's with us, and he will have to come over if he wants her alive. That way, he won't suspect that Velverosa is part of our plan. And after we get what we want, we're going to execute him. Then, boom, we'll rule."
A smile spread across Zhian's face, a mixture of admiration and excitement evident in his expression. "Yeah, you're right," Zhian agreed enthusiastically. "That's so easy. All we have to do now is start acting out the plan. It's actually a great plan, Master Zuka. No wonder why you are so wonderful," he praised, his smile stretching from ear to ear as he envisioned the success of their scheme.
"Yes, and all you have to do is make sure to keep that boy with you and ensure he doesn't know about this plan. I don't want him to ruin everything. That boy is... I don't even know what to say about him," Zuka sighed softly, his tone tinged with frustration.
"Yeah, sure. He's under my watch. He still doesn't know that I'm deceiving him. I can't wait to see the reaction on his face when he finds out that all this lovey-dovey of ours is all a lie. It will be so fun," Zhian remarked, a devilish gleam in his eyes.
"Poor boy, he will be so hurt. Okay, then, that's all for now. We'll talk later," Zuka concluded, a note of satisfaction in his voice.
"Yeah, sure. I have to go back to bed before he notices I'm not there," Zhian replied, bidding farewell before ending the call.
As Zhian dropped his phone with a sigh of satisfaction, a sudden chill ran down his spine. Before he could even turn around, he felt the cold, hard metal of a gun pressed against the back of his head.
Shock and fear surged through him in an instant. Without needing to glance back, he knew exactly who was behind him. With a heavy sigh of disappointment, Zhian closed his eyes, resigning himself to the fact that he had been caught. The weight of the gun against his skull served as a stark reminder of the perilous game he had been playing, and the consequences of his deceitful actions.
As Zhian pondered in silent disbelief, a whisper echoed through his mind, "When did he get here?"
"I know who you are," Ziyad's voice cut through the tense silence, sending a shiver down Zhian's spine.
Before Zhian could react or utter another word, Ziyad's firm hand pushed his head downward, the cold metal of the gun pressing harder against his skull.
"Don't you dare turn around to look at me," Ziyad warned, his voice laced with a chilling intensity as he applied more pressure with the gun.
"Don't think it's just an ordinary bullet in here. If you provoke me and let me blast this into your head, you're going straight to our ancestors," Ziyad warned, his voice resonating with a menacing growl akin to a jaguar ready to pounce.
"How long did you think you could string me along before I got wise?" he continued, his tone dripping with contempt and betrayal.
"What're you talking--" Zhian attempted to interject, but Ziyad's forceful interruption cut him off.
"Don't bullshit me!!! There's no point in keeping up the act," Ziyad snapped, his words slicing through the air like a sharpened blade. The weight of his accusation hung heavy between them, leaving Zhian stunned and speechless, realizing the gravity of the situation he had found himself in.
"Did you think I wouldn't figure it out?" Ziyad demanded, his grip tightening on Zhian's hair as he yanked it back, eliciting a pained grunt from Zhian.
"That you wish you could just get rid of me too?" Ziyad whispered menacingly into Zhian's ear, his breath hot against Zhian's skin.
"I know your plan, how you want to kill Master Leander and then capture that so-called girl named Abigail to lure my brother. But I won't let that happen, Zhian," Ziyad growled, his words laced with determination and fury.
"I don't know what you're--" Zhian attempted to defend himself, but his words were cut short by a sudden, sharp blow to his ribs, causing him to gasp in pain.
"Tell me the truth, Zhian. So you're also one of them?" Ziyad demanded, his voice filled with accusation as he delivered a punishing kick, sending Zhian crashing to the ground. Ziyad then pressed his boot against Zhian's chest, grinding it down with force, his eyes burning with a mixture of anger and betrayal.
" Ahh!!" He groan in pain
" You owe it to me!' I hate people who decive and lie to me" Ziyad growled
"It... It was me... I'm sorry," Zhian confessed, his voice strained with guilt and regret.
"Tell me..." Ziyad growled, his eyes boring into Zhian with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine.
"And us? Did it mean nothing?" Ziyad questioned, his tone a mixture of hurt and betrayal.
"Was I just another job to you?" Zhian could hear the pain in Ziyad's voice, his heart sinking with every word.
"I never meant to hurt you. I could never..." Zhian pleaded, his words trailing off as he struggled to find the right explanation.
"It's too late for that, Zhian," Ziyad retorted, his voice cold and unforgiving, the weight of betrayal heavy in the air.
"Perhaps, I was just disposable to you... But it was real for me," Zhian confessed, his voice trembling with emotion as he laid bare the truth of his feelings.
"No! No! No! That's not true," Zhian protested desperately, his voice cracking with emotion.
"I would never hurt you, let me explain," he pleaded, reaching out for Ziyad, but Ziyad pulled away.
"I love you so much, Zhian. I loved you with all my heart, but you took all that and trashed it in the waste bin. So I really mean nothing to you? You never felt anything towards me?" Ziyad's voice trembled with hurt and disbelief.
"No, Ziyad, it's not like that," Zhian tried to explain, but Ziyad cut him off.
"Shut up! I've been played for too long. Your excuse won't undo the damage. I'm no monster, so take this chance to leave from my life," Ziyad said, his voice heavy with pain, as he turned his back to Zhian, feeling utterly betrayed.
"I know I can never find true love. But if you ever appear before me again..., I will not hesitate to kill you. I should have been aware since the first time you approached me. You cannot just help me and fall in love with me for no reason. My trust has been hurt once again. No one truly loves me... I'm letting you escape this time, but if you ever show yourself to me again... I will not spare you. Heartless soul," Ziyad cursed, looking back at Zhian before disappearing into thin air.
"Ziyad, wait! It's not like that. Let me explain," Zhian pleaded, but it was too late; Ziyad was already gone.
"Fuck! I've made a big mistake," Zhian exclaimed, running his hand through his hair as he sank to the floor.
"This is not how I want things to end. It's all ruined."
