Chapter 62 - System Space (Arc 2)

“As explained before host, points are gotten after each mission and also if special conditions or tasks are fulfilled coincidentally or if given to you- the transmigrator.

Points can be used to exchange things in the system store which you can edit to your liking if you want, names and all, it’s like an app… are you listening, host?” Zero asked with a frown as he stared at the melting Dina.

Ever since Jackson had left all she’s been mumbling about was how he had hugged her, although she had asked him to inform her of all she needed to know as a transmigrator so she’d officially start her work immediately, now…. she was far from everything professional.

Dina: \(◎ o ◎)/

“Ehehe, Jacky hugged me… ah~ am sho happy” Dina squealed before she snapped out of it as soon as Zero called out to her.

Looking towards Zero she couldn’t help but flinch, she had never seen anyone give her the kind of look he was beaming with her right now, it was disgust, pure disgust, and somehow it managed to snap her out of her trance.

“Ahem, the points and stuff again, sorry I spaced out,” Dina said with a nervous smile, sometimes Zero really scared her.

“As previously stated, points are gotten after each mission and also if special conditions or tasks are fulfilled. Points can be used to exchange things in the system store which you can edit to your liking if you want, names and all, it’s like an app. Points can also be obtained by selling items to the system store, so not only can you buy, but you can also sell to the system store at your convenience.

"Points can be owed to the system although only to a certain extent, as a beginner, you can only owe up to ‘-500’ points before the system officially seals off your ability to borrow any more points but your capacity of having points is infinite, meaning you can have as much points as you wish,” Zero summed up.

“What or who is this system?” Dina asked curiously, previously she had thought of Zero as a system but from his way of speaking, he seemed to be otherwise.

“Well, the system isn’t really an entity, it’s more like an inbuilt coordinator handling the transmigrator’s activities” Zero explained.

“What about you?” Dina asked curiously.

“We’re called AITs or AIs, meaning, Assistant Transmigrator Intellects or Assistant Transmigrators whose only task is to guide the transmigrator, the system can handle itself but we so take care of certain things within it,” Zero explained.

“Huh.”

“Other important terms to know as a transmigrator are stats, items, grading system, and all about worlds as you as a transmigrator will soon be dealing with them a lot,” Zero said.

“Stats are just like you see in novels or movies, a board that gives you an idea of your unlocked potential/immediate potentials, stats can be modified by points or changed along with time depending on the transmigrator’s growth,” Zero made a pause to make sure that Dina was following as was rather pleased to see that she was.

She had all her attention on him as he went on explaining.

Next, he explained Items, they were special things gotten due to various factors but most especially when one advanced through Grades as a transmigrator, others were through worlds that were rather inconsistent and depended on one’s luck.

Items were special things, and their effects were crazy depending on the one got a hold of, one was once rumored as very powerful with the capability of letting a user absorb an entire world’s energy for their own but of course those threat level items were hidden away by the Bureau.

Grades and Grading System, Grades were used to determine a transmigrator’s success rate at a mission. It was a common factor that no matter how discreetly or perfectly a transmigrator adjusts a world that there would always be negative circumstances, mostly due to the world’s resistance against them.

A transmigrator in a world no matter how harmless was like a bacteria wandering around the body coated like a body cell of some sort, even if the transmigrator tried their best to reduce any negative activities, just the fact that they were not meant to be in the world was a dire thing to the world and eventually wounds the world, just like how the bacteria would end up harming the body anyways.

Now, according to how limited the damage caused by the Transmigrator was, Grades were calculated.

Grade F- Beginner stages, 55%-70%

Grade E- Growth stage, 45%-54%

Grade D- Intermediate stage, 30%-44%

Grade C- Growth Intermediary stage, 15%-29%

Grade B- Advanced stage, 10%- 14%

Grade A- Growth Advanced stage, 1%-9%

Grade S- Exemplary stage, 0%- negatives (In this stage, the transmigrator actually affects the world positively and it’s almost impossible).

Moving on to Levels which should be the transmigrator’s authority, Levels didn’t really matter until certain situations where one would have no choice but to collude with other Transmigrators would arrive and respect will be based on one’s Level.

“Levels also give you access to certain things in the system store, plus access to some special information held dearly by the Bureau” Zero ended.

“Is that it?” Dina asked.

“Of course there are more but for now this are the core and fundamentals ones. Any question?” Zero asked.

“Who are the Bureau?” Dina asked

“In simple terms, they’re the company that hired you and are officially in-charge of inter-worldly activities, they are the only legal ones across the universe and any other organization assuming the roles they take without being affiliated with them are punished as their actions are illegal unless specifically approved by the Empress” Zero explained.

“Empress?”

“Am afraid this information cannot be devolved”

“Fine!” Dina huffed “Can we move on to the next world now?” Dina asked again.

“Yes, after your official introduction into Transmigration and the job of Transmigrating through worlds for various reasons” Zero stated.

“Whaa…?” Dina started but was cut off by Zero shortly after.

“She’s here, your instructor, you get a personal one since you’re a special case” Zero explained as he pointed at the figure walking towards them out of the shadows.

“Well, hello Transmigrator” The lady said with a smile, her entire demeanor graceful with a tinge of playfulness.

However, Dina’s eyes nearly bulged out of her eye circuit when she looked up to see her so called instructor, she lost her breath right then and there, how could this be?! This was…was…undecipherable!

“Aunty Katelyn?!” Dina exclaimed in shock.
