Chapter 83 - W2 (17)

The shuffling of a certain creature on him got Feral groaning in annoyance as he reached out to slap the damn thing away only to find a pair of glowing blue eyes staring right into his eyes making him flinch in shock and throw away Paws.

Paws: o(〒﹏〒)o

“Paws~! Are you okay?!” Feral exclaimed as he rushed up to scoop up the poor thing that stared at him with a pout making Feral let out a helpless sigh. “Paws~!

While still coaxing the vengeful Paws who wouldn’t let him hold it, Feral wondered where Genad was. The fact that he was out with just one orgasm was quite shocking but considering how stressful their day had been compared to Feral’s usual days which were mostly filled with farming, eating, and sleeping, his lack of stamina made sense.

After successfully coaxing Paws, it curled up around Feral’s neck as he stood up to go take a bath. Although it looked like Genad had cleaned him up, he still wanted to feel the waters across his skin.

‘Am I seriously getting addicted to water right now?’ Dina thought tragically.

“You don’t have to worry Dina, I highly doubt Genad would let that be, and even if he does, I won’t let such a thing disrupt your mission.” Zero reassured.

“Aw, thanks.”

Walking towards the second division of the room where the bathing tub was Feral leisurely opened the silky cottons that had separated the division when…

*Gasp!*

“Hm?” Genad looked up leisurely to see Feral who simply stared at him agape.

Ever since they’d met this was the first time Feral had seen his true form as a merman and IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

From the charming smooth looking light purplish hair that floated across the tub which he leisurely lay in to the well-toned and defined upper body that could effortlessly crush its competitors and last but not least was his tail.

It was unique and gorgeous.

Its purple was so light it seemed to glow with transparency and reflect nearly all things, his fins complimented its excessive lightness by a darker shade and from the upper part of his tail to the lower part the shades of purple got darker.

The only true word to describe it was special. The intricate coloration so neatly and accordingly made Dina wonder if the creator of demons had taken out time to especially just to craft him.

He must have been staring too much because on getting himself, Feral was faced with Genad’s teaseful gaze with his purple eyes which just like his tail was lighter in the outer circle and darker in the inner circle giving it a strong yet pleasing contrast when being stared at.

“Would you like to join me perhaps? Although, you can keep staring not that I mind,” Genad quipped snapping Feral out of his daze who without even as much as a simple word zoomed out of the bathing compartment, flushed from head to toe.

‘Damn! That bastard.’

Feral gritted his teeth in rage as he heard Genad’s deep laughter that echoed throughout the room. Ugh, what a tease!

After adjusting the bracelet on his arms once more he stretched forth his arms into which Paws leaped unto and finally, they were ready to meet the king for their request.

Dina didn’t need to reread the plot so as to know what Genad’s wish would be and she couldn’t help but feel sad that they were leaving the human race but she was still ready to venture into more interesting places.

Meanwhile, Genad who had transformed back to his human form was also fully prepared and sat on the bed waiting for Feral to get ready. His brows were slightly furrowed as he pondered deeply over something.

‘I hope she keeps her promise, although Zillah has never been the type to tell a lie,’ Genad thought while remembering his deal with the princess not long ago.

[Flashback]

“…and ever since then, during the ending of every year and a day to the crossover to a new year, all romance blossoms like petals of flowers and humans from all over Styr gathered together in the capital in celebration of this occasion and to adore to the fullest, the display of affection in its truest! So tell me why you’re here Genad, this description does NOT suit someone as emotionless as you,” the princess said sorely.

Lucius who stood by his side coughed rather awkwardly, his princess had been in a bad mood ever since because they hadn’t won the best couple of the year. She had been willfully ignoring him all day long and he could feel the jealous vibes she was targeting at Genad.

“Zillah, I have no time for this, get to the point,” Genad replied with a furrow.

“This is the point! Answer me! I was so hoping to go on a love trip to the island of pleasure where all things wonderful bloomed with my wish only for you to come out of nowhere and steal it with your lover! I hate you so much why must you steal all I have?!! Wahhh!!”

Genad sighed in annoyance as Lucius comforted Zillah, this was his eccentric, childish childhood friend which he hadn’t met in years—Zillah Abbot, the second to the last child of the second royal queen and the last princess of the Abbot royal family.

“But seriously, what are you doing with that male? And why can’t I seem to truly read his race, I see human and elf at the same time!” Zillah quipped as she gracefully stuffed a snack into her mouth.

‘I see her manners are still graceful despite her childishness,' Genad lightly thought.

“It's exactly as you’ve seen it, your eyes deceive you not.”

“The hell?! A half-elf, half-human? That’s even possible?! We all know that elves have one of the most eccentric bloodlines which had never once mingled with another, even the bloodline of angels is easier to mingle with compared to the elves! So how?!” Zillah exclaimed, good thing Lucius was quite versed in magic and had completely sealed all sounds from spilling out if not no matter how nice the human race where Feral would definitely be captured with how special he was. “Then is that why you… out of sympathy?”

“Dare not conclude princess, actions based on sympathy are thoroughly distasteful to my mouth, after all, we all know where that ended my parents, no?”

“Sorry, sorry, I just assumed.”

Zillah looked towards the downcast Genad and felt complicated, of course, he’d still be enraged at the human race; after all, even when known for their deep loyalty they had ended up betraying…

‘Well, the past is but a past in the end. I hope he truly forgives the human race someday,’ Zillah thought.

It was after that event that her young mind had learned that truly, no matter how much a race posed itself, its nature would always be hidden deep down its cores waiting to surface. Just like how the pretense of the human race as the most loyal was fully unveiled before her little eyes that day.

“As per agreement then, my guard will be the one to escort you. I will make sure of that.”

“Thank you, Zillah. Then I shall take my leave,” Genad said and with a bow departed from the princess.

“Oh and Genad!” Zillah suddenly called out however stopping him in his tracks, “I beg you not to forgive the human race but to at least hate them less than you do now, please, for my sake at least.”

Genad was silent for a while and without turning back simply stated—

“Do not worry princess, in the end, my one true enemy will always be the Demon race.”
