Chapter 103 - W2 (37)

“Mmphhh….” Feral groaned as he rolled over slightly, only for his body to be stopped by a sudden barrier annoying the sleeping male slightly.

He tried to stretch out his legs but was once again restrained by the damn barrier, so annoying!

An angry look fitted the male’s face as his eyes opened slowly until they were finally wide apart and instantly clarity besieged him. His furrowed face snapped into strict alertness and he leaped up alarmingly into a fighting pose as if to fight an enemy.

Only… there was nothing else but the male and a cave filled with a deathly stillness.

‘What the fuck happened?’ Dina thought as her dazed mind cleared up.

So many factors weren’t adding up right now, why did she feel so light? Where was the heaviness? The backlash for overworking herself? Where was the splitting headache? It didn’t make sense!

The VR alone needed a lot of mental energy to use and it had since been running with hers to prevent affecting the other duo and adding to the scourge she had gotten from heaven, if things went naturally then she should be a step away from death even.

A horrible sickness would have been tormenting Feral but what was this? Why did he feel so… comfortable?

Wait! Where were Paws and Genad too?

“Damn! Zero the math isn’t mathing at all!!” Dina shrieked in a panicked voice, she needed to know what was happening!

“Calm down host, for now try to find out your body’s condition. How do you feel?” Zero calmly asked.

Dina finally took a deep breath, indeed Zero was her chill pill, she couldn’t imagine being in all this alone. The bureau did an amazing thing gifting transmigrators with assistants, that was one nicely made decision.

“I feel… nothing. No, in fact, I feel damn amazing like my whole body has been rejuvenated which is why am confused, logistically I should be by my death door. Why the fuck am I so well suddenly?” Dina pondered.

Zero was silent for a while before suggesting that Dina first find her group at which she rushed out immediately without a single hesitancy. She was so worried! Just where were those naughty boys?!

Feral finally escaped the cave, he dared not shout out his companions' names when he knew nothing of the landscape. If there were enemies or beasts and he did… it’d be disastrous!

He looked around helplessly, not knowing what to do when suddenly he felt his instincts tingle and just as he turned over he saw a fluffy white Samoyed dog run and leap into his arms.

Feral caught Paws accurately and looking at the other’s shimmering red eyes he felt like crying, he really thought they were done for! It was so dangerous, all he did was barely help with the VR and he was still so useless that even his mental strength barely held the angels, he truly had to become stronger at all costs!

Dina was determined, for her mission and… friends!

“Where’s Master?” Feral asked softly as he gently caressed the fluffy mess, he truly was so cute.

Paws merely craned his neck towards a certain direction and when Feral looked over, he was so stunned he didn’t know when he let go of the poor Paws who directly plunged to the ground aggrievedly.

‘Holy shit! Who is this?!’ Dina exclaimed in shock.

The person before Feral was still his master but… but…. Why did he feel so different?

The Genad that was in front of her was bent slowly to the ground gently caressing a purple flower softly like a mother adoring her newborn child. His head was slightly tilted downwards causing his now soft golden-blonde locks to cascade leisurely unto his face, covering his eyes and giving off a mysterious yet arousing feel.

The feeling was a strong desire to peer deeper, to see what was hidden behind those mischievous locks that seemed to hold within them a lovely treasure.

Soon, he plucked off the flower cleanly; like a lovely item to be treasured and handled preciously. He finally looked upwards to the struggling Feral who was fighting with himself to not directly pull up those stubborn locks, and made the other stunned to silence.

A pair of bright golden eyes that held such an alluring luster within them that it stroke a feeling of worship within one’s soul. It was obviously still the same person, the same Genad, but now… he looked so different.

If the other was melancholy then this one was divine, if the other held a seductive allure that dragged one to sin then this one held a pure beauty that demanded one’s adoration…. So different yet similar.

The same mind-blowing charm only in completely different ways. How can someone be so opposed to himself? Just… what the heck was it with this guy?!

Genad stood before Feral smiling as he held the purple flower, the shimmering of his golden hair as it was hit by the sun seemed to declare its rare beauty as it shone brightly. The lovely eyes focused on Feral were filled with such love that melted into the depths of those golden orbs leaving the latter flabbergasted from what was a mixture of shock and awe.

The beauty was indeed on par with the other and something about being stared at like he was this male’s whole world made Feral nearly melt. Dina could feel it within the depths of her mind, somewhere in there where Feral was that he had fallen for Genad just like that.

“That’s it Feral?! That’s what your betrothal wish amounts to? One flash of a hot guy and you’re down?!” Dina sneered hatefully.

Although derisive, Dina couldn’t blame the male. In fact, being stared at by such a beauty like that was so heavy a blow that even she with her spiritual issues felt like she had fallen in love with this male too… if only it was that easy though.

Dina whined internally about not being able to capture such hotness, she couldn’t afford the artifact needed to take a picture, and for the first time after a long while Dina experienced the sorrow of being broke again.

Before she could drown a bit more in her sorrow she was startled by what happened next. Genad directly strode to Feral who was locked onto one position on the ground and with a pull dragged him into his embrace.

“M-master?” Feral stammered with a blush causing Dina's hate to intensify.

This bear child had started acting up again, so you really did bend! And here I was wondering how to compensate you with a cute little wife, guess you don’t need that anymore fool!

Zero: ….

“Host…”

“Hmph! I’m so dejected ah!!”

This Feral of hers originally had thin skin and a stubborn mind, now he was in love just how naughty would this child get? She could barely imagine!

“Master? No, call me Genad,” the blonde said with a saddened expression, he looked like a repentant sinner who had done great wrong.

Just how did he dare make this poor child call him such a name that degraded his value? If he was his master then what was this child? His slave?

Dina: Exactly ◔_◔

He was unresigned!

“Call me Genad from now on okay?” Genad stressed harder once more.

Luckily for Dina, no matter how persistent Feral was, he was merely but a fragment of the male’s spirit due to his extreme reluctance. His reluctance was so much that even after dying it hung unto Dina, unwilling to let go.

But in the end, she was the main controller, and for the mission, she had to do things the right way, that was her end goal.

This version of Genad was merely an extension of the other’s weakness due to the fierce inflow of holiness starring his angel’s bloodline and severely weakening his demon bloodline. Due to how weakened Genad was, he could only withdraw temporarily to recuperate allowing his angel bloodline to run havoc for quite some time which resulted in the creation of this Genad.

Dina’s guess was that both Genad’s demon bloodline and angel bloodline were so thick and strong that they couldn’t mix together and each flowed their separate ways like a stream diverged into two different waterfalls on meeting a landscape separating them.

Both bloodlines were potent and too prideful to give a damn about each other and just flowed their separate paths which was why Genad had never suffered from their clashes. Had any of his bloodlines been lower than the other then it would be a different story, but both were equally strong and no one was higher or lower than the other, this caused a mutual consent between both bloodlines to flow their paths.

Genad was originally more in touch with the demon bloodline due to the nature of his growth and environment, had he grown in heaven then he probably wouldn’t have linked with his demon bloodline.

The demon bloodline was in complete control of Genad and had it not been for the harsh stimulation by the holy waters then he probably wouldn’t have synced with his angel bloodline. This ‘Genad’ was but a trifling projection of his angel bloodline, he wasn’t even the real Genad which explained his attitude.

Dina wasn’t stupid enough to think that vicious target of hers would suddenly change overnight because he was boiled in holy water. Na, that fucker was stronger than that.

Although she still had to play along, even if he was merely a fake persona this person still represented Genad to some extent… maybe she could use this more amiable fellow to grind out points?

This certainly made her feel a bit better.

Feral’s eyes glinted slightly as Dina instantly took control, after pulling away from the hug he lowered his head respectfully and with a sad tone stated, “I’m sorry master, but I dare not do such a thing. I cannot call you by your name.”

Genad paled slightly as his hands squeezed the purple flower slightly before saying in a soft yet disappointed tone,

“I understand but I have to thank you for saving me. So please accept my trifling plea,” Genad said with a soft smile as he presented the flower before Feral who stood dumbfounded as he stared at the flower dazedly.

‘So obedient and cute ah! I really wanted to get back at Genad for all my sufferings but how can I bear to hurt this cutie? Tsk, tsk, such a trickish situation.’

Dina really thought it was unfortunate, such a chance… forget it, she wasn’t a bully. Eh, in the end, she did need to hold back her animosity or the real Genad would roast her alive when he came back.

‘If his Awemeter dares drop I’ll break up with him!’

Zero: …..

Feral reached out, his soft hands slightly caressing the rough hands of Genad as he took the flower and then timidly placed it over his dark strands, tightly tucking it deep within.

Done, he looked up sweetly at Genad as he burst forth into a brilliant smile thoroughly blinding the latter. His smooth lips parted slowly and he asked cheerfully,

“Does it look good, master?”

Genad’s reaction however was beyond any expectation, he instantly became taut as he motionlessly stared at the glowing male before him. In the next second and without a single word, he turned back and dashed into the forest, running deep into the woods.

Feral: …..

Paws: …..

Zero: ……

Dina: ….WTF?
